First Reincarnation and Reunion

Li Chen’s first spiritual journey takes him to the dying Long Xiaoyao and Ye Xishui. He offers them reincarnation before they transfer their power to Huo Yuhao and Tang Wutong, then returns with a dragon bloodline and a second martial soul 2.

Discovering that both lovers now exist in the Dragon King era, he locates Ye Xishui’s reincarnation, Ye Zhaolu, and arranges her attendance at Long Xiaoyao’s challenge against Zhuo Shi. As their relationship develops, he discovers that matchmaking continues to generate rewards beyond the initial reincarnation 3 4 5.

Spirit Pagoda Training and Political Alliances

Leng Yaozhu recruits Li Chen after discovering his Bright Phoenix. He keeps his academy enrollment but moves into her training program alongside Gu Yue 15 17 18.

He also secures Long Xiaoyao and Ye Zhaolu’s opposition to further Shrek funding. His urgency comes partly from foreknowledge of Shrek’s future destruction, which he believes would force his father from office and expose their family to retaliation 9 16.

West Mountain Tunnel and Ye Zhaolu’s Framing

Li Chen brings the Dream Memory Hammer to Long Xiaoyao and explains their past-life connection. Dark Bell and Dark Phoenix ambush them at West Mountain Tunnel; Long Xiaoyao throws him clear and remains behind to fight 21 22.

After Ye Zhaolu’s arrest, Li Chen investigates her laboratory and recovers evidence of her genuine Martial Soul reconstruction surgery. He presents the recording and evidence of Cai Yue’er’s involvement, with backups preventing Long Yeyue from suppressing the revelation 26 30 31.

The footage spreads across the media, provoking public outrage. The resulting fallout includes Long Yeyue’s removal, Chen Xinjie’s suspension, and the disbanding of Shrek’s Law Enforcement Team 32 37.

Second Reincarnation and the Star Luo Problem

After becoming a Soul Ancestor, Li Chen unexpectedly finds his third skill ready again. He travels to the Qiankun Asking Love Valley, where Tang San’s trial culminates in Wang Dong’er’s death, and takes Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong’er, and Wang Qiu’er away to reincarnate 35 37 38.

He subsequently identifies their new lives as Huo Yuhao, Yue Dong’er, and Di Qiu’er. Yue Dong’er’s official death record conflicts with the living figure shown by the Tree of Sorrow, leaving him suspicious of an Angel Clan scheme.
