Background and History

Blue Star and Clear Sky Peak

Luo Feng was a rock-climbing enthusiast from twenty-first-century Blue Star and a fan of Douluo Continent, familiar with its comics and animation. After transmigrating, he obtained the Legend of the Dragon King system, whose beginner mission required him to climb Clear Sky Peak. He spent a full day and night reaching its summit without tools, unknowingly entering the Clear Sky Sect’s forbidden ground 1.

The summit awakened his Mountain Dragon King inheritance, but Wang Dong discovered him before he could examine his new abilities. He attempted to escape by throwing snow in her face. Their pursuit ended at a cliff, where he knocked aside her Clear Sky Hammer and caught her as she lost her balance. They tumbled together and accidentally shared their first kiss. Luo Feng subsequently used her admission letter as leverage to secure passage and travel money, returning it before leaving. Er Ming pursued him on Wang Dong’s behalf 1 2.

Ming Dou Mountain Range

Following the system’s next mission, Luo Feng traveled to the Ming Dou Mountain Range. There he rescued Princess Vina from a twenty-thousand-year Dark Gold Terrorclaw Bear and allowed her to claim its Soul Ring for her Martial Soul’s Second Awakening. He initially rejected her invitation to become prince consort because court life would interfere with his mountain-climbing cultivation. They nevertheless became lovers, and he promised to take responsibility for her 4 5 6.

A clash with Sun Moon Empire academy personnel gave Luo Feng access to Ju Zi’s All-Terrain Exploration Soul Tool, which he commandeered to reach the highest peak. After advancing to Soul King, he crushed most of the pursuing Soul Engineer squad with Mountain Suppression 6 7 8.

Luo Feng then fought Dai Hao before Vina intervened. The former opponents cooperated when the Fire Phoenix Douluo attacked to retrieve Ju Zi. Luo Feng’s mountain overwhelmed her Level 9 Soul Cannon, enabling her capture. He left the prisoners and credit with Dai Hao before continuing toward Shrek City 10 11 12.

Shrek City and Heavenly Spirit Mountain

In Shrek City, Luo Feng encountered Wang Dong again and became embroiled in disputes with Tang Ya and Ma Xiaotao. He defeated Ma Xiaotao using Swamp and collected on their wager: she would accompany him mountain climbing. Wang Dong followed them to Heavenly Spirit Mountain, where she revealed her gender to Ma Xiaotao and confessed her attachment to Luo Feng 13 14 15 16 17.

At the summit, Luo Feng and Ma Xiaotao interrupted Zhang Peng’s extraction of Soul Beast souls. Luo Feng used the battle to reach the highest point, immediately advanced to Soul Saint, and killed the level-96 Super Douluo with his dragon claw. He subsequently accepted relationships with both Ma Xiaotao and Wang Dong, while acknowledging Vina as his existing girlfriend 18 19 20 21.

Ma Xiaotao brought him to meet Yan Shaozhe at Shrek Academy. Although Yan initially challenged his relationships, Mu En welcomed him after recognizing his Martial Soul. Luo Feng condensed his first Soul Core beneath the Golden Ancient Tree and obtained permission for Ma Xiaotao and Wang Dong to accompany him to the Far North 22 23.

Far North

Luo Feng intervened in the Snow Empress’s seven-hundred-thousand-year tribulation because its lightning threatened to destroy the summit required for his awakening. He forcibly kissed her to transfer Dragon King power and stabilize her ice core, then confronted the lightning himself. Afterward, he protected her from Jing Hongchen’s attempted capture. The Snow Empress pledged herself to him, and he accepted her as a companion 25 26 27.

Upon becoming a Titled Douluo, Luo Feng withstood the Evil Eye Soul Engineer Legion’s bombardment and defeated it using gravity and dragons formed from ice and rock. He captured Jing Hongchen and negotiated a ransom containing rare metals and important Soul Tool components intended to strengthen the Heaven Dou Empire 27 28 29 30.

He later injured Feng Ling with one punch and fought Long Xiaoyao. Although the Limit Douluo’s level exceeded his own, Luo Feng’s physical strength and superior bloodline forced Long Xiaoyao’s Dark Holy Dragon into submission, prompting his retreat 30 31 32.

Luo Feng also disrupted Huo Yuhao’s attempt to obtain the Ice Empress as a Wisdom Soul Ring. Electrolux intervened and enabled Huo Yuhao to escape. Luo Feng then helped the Ice Empress survive her tribulation by striking apart its clouds with his Dual Soul Cores active 33 34 35 36.

Return to the Heaven Dou Empire

Luo Feng returned to Vina with Ma Xiaotao, Wang Dong, the Snow Empress, and the Ice Empress. He learned that Vina had gone for a prenatal examination, and she welcomed him as her husband. Their reunion provoked Long Aotian, whose family had previously discussed arranging his engagement to Vina 5 37.

Seeking to establish his standing as prince consort through his own strength, Luo Feng accepted Long Aotian’s challenge and allowed him to summon support. When Du Busi arrived, Luo Feng stressed that the Body Sect was not his enemy and urged unity against outside threats 38.

Personality

Luo Feng initially prioritizes strength and personal freedom over romance or status. His refusal of Vina’s proposal is practical rather than indifferent: remaining at court would prevent him from visiting the mountains needed to unlock his inheritance. His knowledge of the original story also makes him cautious about powerful figures such as Wang Dong’s guardians 1 4 5.

He is resourceful, provocative, and willing to use coercion. He bargains with Wang Dong’s admission letter, commandeers Ju Zi’s vehicle, and turns Jing Hongchen’s capture into an opportunity to acquire strategic supplies. His flirtatious confidence grows alongside his power, and he openly chooses to maintain multiple romantic relationships 2 6 7 21 30.

Luo Feng enjoys testing his limits against strong opponents. He deliberately prolongs his clash with Zhang Peng to assess his dragon claw and takes the Evil Eye Legion’s bombardment head-on to measure his defense. He is disappointed when Long Xiaoyao retreats before their battle can fully establish his upper limit 19 28 31 32.

Despite his ruthlessness toward enemies, he repeatedly protects others and increasingly accepts responsibility for his companions. He catches Wang Dong and Tang Ya when they risk falling, shields the Snow Empress, and argues against unnecessary conflict with the Body Sect 1 14 25 38.
