Forced into the Black Demon Mountain Range, he pursued Sha Qi and escaped deeper into its inner reaches with the Blood Baleful Intent Thorn as two powerful demons fought.

• Su Yu killed Yin Jiuyou and Liu Tianjue, then helped the Demon Suppression Guards fight the demon that burst from the dry well.
• With a masked woman restraining the demon, Su Yu broke through to Spirit Realm Second Level and destroyed it, then accepted a Shadow Guard invitation and claimed treasures from the Liu Family vault.
• Su Yu killed the Blood Wolf and dog demon sent to probe Nanhe County, then attacked Cloud Wolf Mountain and killed the Blood Wolf leader and Chu Jie.
• After the Mystic Realm puppet awakened, Su Yu returned to Nanhe County, where Lu Cang tested him and offered him a chance to qualify for the Shadow Guard.
