Hell Slaughter Arena, today marks Tang San's hundredth battle. He stands in the center of the arena, facing a muscular, burly man wielding a massive battle axe, exuding a ferocious aura. Tang San takes a deep breath; he knows the importance of this battle. This is his hundredth fight, and nine corpses already lie strewn across the ground. It is also the key to his freedom. If he wins, he can leave this hellish place.
The burly man roared and charged at Tang San, brandishing his battle axe. Tang San dodged to the side, summoned his Clear Sky Hammer Martial Soul, and struck the man in the chest, sending him staggering back several steps. The burly man did not give up; he charged at Tang San again, attempting to chop off his legs with his battle axe.
Tang San's heart tightened; he knew he couldn't let his opponent get close so easily. He took a deep breath, leaning back slightly, like a spring gathering strength. The burly man rushed in front of him, raising his battle axe, ready to strike fiercely downwards. Tang San suddenly leaped into the air, unleashing a purple light—his Clear Sky Hammer Martial Soul. The burly man was startled and tried to retreat, but it was too late. Tang San brought the hammer down in mid-air, striking him squarely on the head. The burly man's head slammed heavily to the ground like a shattered watermelon. His body collapsed, unable to move. " Asura King! Asura King!"
The killers in the stands let out a deafening roar.
Tang San stood in the center of the arena, gazing at the fallen body of the burly man, a surge of intense excitement and freedom welling up within him. He clenched his fists, feeling the blood coursing through his veins. He knew he had done it; he had defeated his hundredth opponent, and he could leave this hellish place. At that moment, the arena doors slowly opened, and a red-haired man in a black robe entered. His face was masked, concealing all his expressions, but his eyes were like icy blades in the dead of winter, cold and sharp.
Tang San looked at him warily, his body slightly tense. He knew that the mysterious man in front of him was the ruler of the Slaughter City, the King of Slaughter.
The stranger slowly walked to the edge of the arena, looked down at Tang San, and spoke in a deep, magnetic voice.
"You have won, Asura King."
Tang San frowned slightly, meeting the gaze of the " King of Slaughter." The stranger continued, "You have proven your worth. Your victory has piqued my interest. Congratulations, young Asura King, you will be bestowed the title of Slaughter God and granted the right to freely travel to Slaughter City." He took a deep breath, raised his head, and stared intently at the " King of Slaughter " before him. "Revered King of Slaughter, I will brave the Hell Road."
" The Hell Road? That place is extremely dangerous, Asura King. Do you really want to venture into that place?"
Tang San nodded. "Yes, I have to go to that place."
The " King of Slaughter " looked at him, a cold glint in his eyes. "Then I wish you success in escaping Hell Road." With that, the " King of Slaughter " slowly raised his hand, and tiered steps appeared in the center of the Hell Slaughter Arena. He turned and left the arena, disappearing into the darkness. Tang San took a deep breath; he knew his adventure had only just begun. He stared ahead, as if he could see the entrance to Hell Road. He knew he needed to get through that place to leave this hellish place.
He turned around and walked towards the entrance of the Hell Road. There, he would face his next challenge. The scene shifts to Tang San standing on a dark mountain road, the legendary Hell Road. Beside the road is a bottomless cliff, and below the cliff is molten lava, which roars and churns.
Tang San gripped the Clear Sky Hammer tightly and walked forward cautiously. Behind him lay the Hell Slaughter Arena, and ahead lay the unknown Hell Road.
Tang San trudged heavily, each stone on the Hell Road feeling as if he were crossing the boundary of Life. He didn't know where this road led, nor what dangers awaited him, but he knew that if he couldn't pass this test, he would be forever trapped in this Slaughter City. Lava churned beneath the road, like a demon's furnace, ready to devour all Life at any moment. Tang San's ears were filled with scorching heat and the roar of raging lava, but he did not stop, for his heart was filled with unwavering determination and resolve.
Suddenly, pairs of red eyes appeared ahead of him, like ghosts from hell. Tang San gripped his Clear Sky Hammer tightly, but he knew he couldn't use too much power, because every movement on this path could trigger a deadly trap. The red eyes before him grew brighter, Tang San's heart pounded, and his body tensed, preparing to face the impending attack.
Suddenly, a sharp cry shattered the silence, and a pack of Hellhound rushed out of the darkness, pouncing on Tang San. Their teeth gleamed fiercely, and thick saliva dripped from their mouths, making them look like a pack of vicious dogs from hell.
Tang San dodged to the side, swinging his Clear Sky Hammer strike the Hellhound, driving them back. But these Hellhound seemed to feel no pain; they charged at Tang San again, trying to tear him to shreds. Tang San took a deep breath; he knew he couldn't let these Hellhound get close so easily. He stared into the darkness ahead, suddenly seeing a ray of light, and immediately rushed in that direction. Before him was a sheer cliff, and the ray of light was coming from a cave in the cliff. Tang San's heart tightened; he knew he had to enter that cave, perhaps his only chance to escape this hellish place. He gripped the Clear Sky Hammer tightly and carefully climbed the cliff. His body clung to the cliff face, every movement extremely cautious, for he knew that one misstep would send him plummeting into the endless lava.
Tang San finally reached the top of the cliff. Panting heavily, he nervously scanned his surroundings. In a cave not far away, a brighter light flickered, like the exit from Hell Road, leading him to freedom. He trudged heavily, step by step approaching the cave. His heart was racing, his nerves were taut, as if he were about to collapse at any moment. Just then, a strange laugh sounded behind him, sounding like a thousand Gui Mei whispering simultaneously. Tang San's body instantly stiffened; his heart felt as if it had been squeezed by a hand.
Tang San quickly used Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to rush out of the cave, then fell unconscious. As the sunlight shone on him, he felt as if he had been reborn.
When he awoke, he found himself out of the Slaughter City and back on the Douluo Continent. He looked up at the sky, sunlight filtering through the leaves and falling on his face, and felt a sense of ease and freedom he had never known before. He knew he had passed the test of the Hell Road and had successfully escaped that place filled with slaughter and bloodshed. However, he didn't feel any changes in his body; all the killing intent he had possessed in the Slaughter City had vanished without a trace.
He struggled to his feet, only to find that he seemed to have become a different person. He was no longer the Asura King filled with murderous intent. The Soul Power he had increased in the Slaughter City had all disappeared the moment he came out, and his Soul Power had returned to level 71.
"What on earth is going on? Where is my Soul Power? Where is my Divine Slaughter's Domain?"
