At last, they met again
Herta Space Station.
This colossal structure, standing amidst the stars, remains as busy and orderly as ever.
Rare artifacts, scientific research projects, passing ships... countless streams of information converge here, forming a vibrant academic landscape of the universe.
However, today, the core area of the space station welcomed several very special "visitors".
No application was submitted, and no notification was given.
The data doors of the main control module slid open silently, as if unlocked by the highest authority.
Luo Li, Lu Jingheng, and Kong Yan'er stepped inside, and the surrounding researchers didn't even notice their arrival, as if their presence had been temporarily "shielded" from the sensory data of those around them.
"Tsk, still that cold, academic tone."
Kong Yan'er looked around at the sophisticated instruments and busy figures, and curled her lip.
"Even more boring than that woman Ruan Mei's workshop."
Lu Jingheng's eyes flashed with data, as if he were rapidly scanning and recording the underlying architecture of the space station, which was very helpful for him to understand the data rules of this "real" universe.
Luo Li's goals are clear.
His [data] Path unfolded silently, and the entire Herta Space Station instantly transformed into a vast and complex data model in his "eyes." Countless information flows, energy nodes, permission settings... were as clear as the lines on his palm.
He easily located several areas within the space station with the most unique energy responses and the highest level of data encryption—areas that typically house the most precious artifacts or conduct the most cutting-edge research.
He didn't disturb the Herta Puppet that might be there, perhaps because Luo Yi's dying words made him feel a complicated emotion towards this Genius Society #83 seat, and he didn't go looking for Ruan Mei.
His perception, like invisible data tendrils, swept across each of the rare artifact collection rooms, analyzing the fragments of rules and possibilities contained within.
He was searching for a strange object or technology that could exist stably, anchor itself to the real and the unreal, and even interfere with the boundary between "Remembrance" and "reality".
Finally, deep within the space station, in an independent laboratory protected by multidimensional locks and causal barriers, his "gaze" stopped.
There, suspended in the air, was a strange substance that constantly changed shape and emitted a soft white light.
Its data characteristics are extremely unique, seemingly existing within countless possibilities simultaneously, yet maintaining an absolutely stable "core of existence."
[Possibility Gel]
--A rare cosmic marvel capable of solidifying possibilities to a certain extent, transforming "potential" into "reality." Often used to stabilize high-dimensional experiments or repair certain conceptual damage.
This is it!
Luo Li's mind stirred.
The laboratory's barrier, strong enough to withstand the bombardment of a Star Destroyer's main guns, was silently dismantled in the face of his [data] authority, as if encountering the highest level of administrator privileges.
The ball of [Possibility Gel] seemed to be summoned, transforming into a stream of light that pierced through layers of cabin walls and flew precisely into Luo Li's hand.
It feels warm to the touch, as if you are holding a solidified ball of starlight, containing almost limitless potential.
"Done! You found what you wanted so quickly?"
Kong Yan'er leaned closer, looking curiously at the ball of light in Luo Li's hand.
"What's next? Find a place to get started?"
Luo Li nodded, ignoring the commotion that might be caused by the sudden disappearance of the strange object.
He redefined space, sending a data channel directly to an unused observatory on the space station with powerful energy isolation measures.
Inside the observatory, the view is expansive, with a dazzling sea of stars visible outside the windows.
Luo Li sat down cross-legged and placed the [Possibility Gel] in front of her.
He closed his eyes, his consciousness sinking into the vast, star-like source of [data] within his body.
First, he accessed all the Remembrance data about Castorice that he had read from "As I Have Written".
Those images—her cool eyes, her clumsy attempts to learn modern equipment, her shy smile at the wedding, her tired yet gentle expression in the delivery room... all of them were transformed into the most refined data stream, flowing and reconstructing in his consciousness.
That's not enough.
These are just "Remembrance," imprints of the past.
What he needs is the foundation of "existence," a "reality" capable of supporting his soul.
He recalled every little detail of his life with Castorice, the emotional connection and energy imprint unique to them contained within those seemingly ordinary daily routines.
He remembered the power within her that belonged to Amphoreus and the River of Souls Styx.
He recalled how Luo Yi copied this data and put it into the sandbox world, giving birth to the "Castorice" that he had encountered...
All the information, all the understanding, all the emotions... at this moment, all have been transformed into the most basic "parameters" and "codes," integrated into his [data] power.
Then, he began "compiling".
Based on the core Remembrance data of the Castorice.
They are bound together by the emotional energy of their shared experiences.
The power of [Possibility Gel] serves as a stabilizing anchor and a catalyst for reality transformation.
Then, he himself, with the supreme authority of the newly ascended [Data] Aeon, serves as the final "execution order."
Buzz buzz buzz--!
Inside the observation station, an invisible storm of data began to sweep through.
Countless shimmering "0"s and "1"s, mixed with colorful data streams representing different rules and concepts, spun and combined wildly around Luo Li.
In the void, the outline of existence is gradually sketched, filled, and sculpted.
First, there's the human form.
Then there are the details—long, silver-purple hair, fair skin, delicate features, and an exquisitely beautiful face that carries a hint of pity and aloofness...
Next was the clothing, that butterfly-wing-like dress that blended Amphoreus style with modern elements...
Lu Jingheng stood to the side, his body swirling with data at high speed, helping to stabilize the data structure of the surrounding space and prevent this creation-like process from causing the overall collapse of the space station.
Kong Yan'er, unusually, abandoned her carefree smile, her heterochromatic eyes flashing with amazement as she murmured, "Wow... is this creation? It's... so much fun!"
This process may seem complex, but under the control of [data] power, it actually happens in the blink of an eye.
When the last stream of data merged into the already formed body, all the strange phenomena abruptly ceased.
Calmness returned to the observation deck.
A familiar figure hovered silently in front of Luo Li.
Her eyes were closed, her long eyelashes casting soft shadows beneath her eyelids, and her chest rose and fell slightly, as if she had simply fallen into a peaceful sleep.
It was exactly as Luo Li Remembrance.
No, she even possessed a more authentic presence than Remembrance, a serenity that had been tempered by Spacetime.
Luo Li slowly stood up and walked to her.
He reached out, his fingertips trembling almost imperceptibly, and gently touched her cheek.
It's warm.
Soft.
It's true.
It is a truly authentic Castorice, salvaged and reconstructed by him personally from the ocean of data!
A tremendous, almost overwhelming, mix of ecstasy and bitterness surged through his heart.
He succeeded...
He really... found her!
Just then, Castorice's long eyelashes trembled slightly, like butterfly wings.
Then, on her smooth forehead, an extremely tiny, pale blue symbol, resembling the shape of "@" and seemingly composed of data, flashed by, like a system confirmation that loading was complete.
She slowly opened her eyes.
Those pure, slightly bewildered purple eyes first looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings, then slowly, very slowly, focused on Luo Li's face, who was so close to them.
Her gaze shifted from confusion to bewilderment, then to... unbelievable shock, and finally, it transformed into a complex emotion that almost overflowed, a mixture of endless longing and relief.
Her cherry lips parted slightly, as if she wanted to say something, but she couldn't utter a sound due to the overwhelming emotional impact.
Only her slightly reddened eyes and the sudden burst of tears spoke of the turbulent emotions churning within her.
Luo Li looked at her, a thousand words stuck in his throat, finally turning into a soft, tender call filled with endless emotion, his voice hoarse. "Castorice..."
"I... found you."
Upon hearing this familiar address, tears finally streamed down Castorice's face.
She looked at the man before her, whose aura was unfathomable yet whose features and eyes were all too familiar to her, and nodded forcefully. Her voice choked with emotion, she finally found her voice, responding with a hint of uncertainty and a dreamlike murmur:
"Luo... Li...?"
"Is it... you...?"
They crossed the barriers of data, transcended the boundaries of life and death, and endured endless pain and waiting.
They finally reunited in the real world.
(PS: As punishment for suddenly falling asleep, I wrote an extra 2000 words this morning, and I'm currently slacking off... Waaaaaah... I'll have to go check up on you with my little notebook in a bit.)
