Ironwall Fortress

Kong Yan’er introduces himself to Luo Li and Castorice aboard their transport to Ironwall Fortress, explaining that he has worked there for years. He warns them about the Harvesters before defending the aircraft against Nightmare Flying Bats with a clone and Trickster Hands 65.

At the fortress, he guides Luo Li through the dormitories, mission hall, training grounds, medical station, and maintenance facilities. He offers assistance from combat dormitory sector A-7 and supplements Luo Li’s training with practical frontline knowledge 66 67 68.

His squad expands to include Luo Li, Qingqiu Ze, and Yang Shan. After securing an A− squad rating, he leads them on higher-risk assignments, including the Venom Queen mission in the Rotting Swamp. There, his duplicates help rescue Murong Xue’s surrounded team before the squad proceeds toward its target 69 70.

Over the following months, the squad becomes an elite frontline unit. Kong Yan’er fights beside his companions during the massive vampire assault on Ironwall, then joins Qingqiu Ze and Yang Shan in arranging a farewell gathering when Luo Li and Castorice leave for Jiangcheng 77 78 79.

After Luo Li awakens from his prolonged sleep, Kong Yan’er appears beside Lu Jingheng in magician’s attire, radiating power far beyond his previous frontline presentation. The two guide Luo Li through a passage to meet Luo Yi, who reveals Kong Yan’er’s true identity and voluntary involvement in the experiment 131 132.

Following Luo Li’s ascension as the Aeon of Data, Kong Yan’er accompanies him aboard the Astral Express and to Herta Space Station. He witnesses Castorice’s restoration and later suggests consulting Herta about existence anchoring to help bring Shiyu and Shiyi into reality 136 137 140.

Cerydra and Life in Okhema

Kong Yan’er’s attention increasingly turns toward Cerydra. Luo Li notes that he once regularly performed magic at her court and teases him about their compatibility. Kong Yan’er vehemently denies any romantic connection, even as he continues seeking her attention through tricks and arguments 139.

Their exchanges develop into a familiar routine: he introduces disruptive “improvements,” while she contains the consequences. At the Marble Fair, she quietly prevents his magic from inconveniencing others, prompting further teasing from Luo Li and Hysilens 154 155.

They marry at the Cloud Stone Heavenly Palace plaza in Okhema. Kong Yan’er fills the ceremony with magical butterflies, subtle decorations on Cerydra’s gown, and virtual fireworks depicting wonders from his cosmic travels 157.
