Before leaving, the two reached an agreement: Firefly would pay two-thirds, and Lin Yuyou would cover the rest.

Their arrangement left the cashier at a loss, but in keeping with the principle that the customer came first, the cashier accepted their payments as requested.

Once they left the café, Lin Yuyou grabbed Firefly and headed straight for a clothing store. "Come on, Sister Firefly, let's go over here!"

"All right, enough of that. Hurry up and see if they fit!" Lin Yuyou pushed Firefly into the changing room.

Inside the changing room, Firefly looked at the pile of clothes in her arms and let out a long sigh. What else could I do? Time to change!

Firefly tried on one outfit after another, the swish of the curtain opening sounding again and again. Yet there was always someone brave enough to step forward and stick his neck out.

A handsome young man with side-parted hair and a frequent smile stepped forward, walking straight toward Firefly and Lin Yuyou.

His name was Wang Chengxu, and he had just broken up with his fifteenth girlfriend today. He had been wondering where to find his next girlfriend, only to find her right here. And she was prettier than any girlfriend he'd ever had! He was determined to win her over!

He glanced back at the other guys behind him and shook his head in disappointment. They didn't even dare approach her. A bunch of losers! How could they date without any courage?

Lin Yuyou, who had been taking pictures, stopped at his tap. She turned to look at Wang Chengxu, her expression unchanging. "Uncle, do you need something?"

Everyone around them snickered at her response.

Without another word, Firefly rushed over and grabbed his outstretched hand.

"What are you trying to do to Yuyou?!" Her gaze was icy, her low voice so sharp it seemed ready to slice him to pieces.

Both Wang Chengxu and Lin Yuyou were startled by Firefly.

Although Lin Yuyou had only known Sister Firefly for half a day, she had always thought of her as gentle, shy, and cute. The contrast with how she looked now was far too striking!

Unlike the stunned Lin Yuyou, Wang Chengxu immediately prepared to flirt and show off when he saw the person he wanted right before him. But he probably hadn't imagined that a welcoming smile wasn't what awaited him.
