Background / History

Glamoth Soldier

Firefly served the Glamoth Empire under the designation AR-26710. A battle-hardened member of the Glamoth Iron Cavalry, she spent her former life moving between battlefields. She remembers civilians looking at her and her fellow soldiers with fear and disgust during missions 1 2 5 27.

As an artificial human, she has no parents. She considers the Empress her only possible blood connection because she was created from the Empress’s genes 46.

Her genetically modified body suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome, which gradually causes its physical structure to dissociate. Iron Cavalry mechs function as both weapons and treatment chambers, slowing the disease and limiting how long their pilots can remain outside them 1.

Arrival on Blue Star

Firefly awakens in Lin Yu’s home without knowing how she arrived. To prove her identity, she transforms into the white mech Sam, but it disassembles without her command and leaves her unsteady.
