• Mu Chen recruited Dugu Bo as a guest elder of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, cured his poison with Gu Yuena’s help, and gave him the Golden Dragon Gourd for Dugu Yan.
• Gu Yuena confessed her feelings to Mu Chen, and he admitted that he liked her before absorbing an immortal herb and traveling with her to the Star Dou Great Forest.
• Mu Chen absorbed a Silver Armored Sword Dragon’s soul ring, gained the Sword Rain skill, and gave Ning Rongrong an Aromatic Silk Beauty that transformed her martial spirit into the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda.
• Mu Chen defeated the Fierce God Team with Sword Rain, then challenged Yu Xiaogang’s theories and displayed his unusual soul rings before refusing Yu Xiaogang’s guidance.

Mu Chen crippled Tang Hao, brought Zhu Zhuqing into the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and began developing Soul Tools while Tang San sought acceptance from the Clear Sky Sect. The arc ended with Mu Chen preparing to rescue a Cat Girl at an auction in Heaven Dou City.

• Gu Yuena restrained Tang Hao after he exploded his soul rings, removed his six soul bones, and left him alive with his Soul Power reduced to level thirty-five.
• Mu Chen confronted Tang Hao over Ah Yin’s death, spared him, and later told Tang Hao that Ah Yin could revive if her Blue Silver Grass body grew long enough.
• Tang Hao and Tang San left Shrek Academy for the Clear Sky Sect, while Yu Xiaogang, Liu Erlong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Dai Mubai also departed.
• Mu Chen welcomed Zhu Zhuqing into the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where Ning Rongrong reached Soul Ancestor rank and Ning Fengzhi agreed to support Mu Chen’s Soul Tool work.

Mu Chen strengthened his allies and obtained the Titan Giant Ape’s hundred-thousand-year soul ring before being swept into the Hell Realm with Bibi Dong during the Holy Spirit Cult’s attack. After they fought off a pursuing squad, they hid in a cave as Bibi Dong’s poison worsened and powerful enemies searched for them.

• Ning Fengzhi passed on Tang San’s Hidden Weapons, while Xue Qinghe bought the Hidden Arrow and later revealed her Qian Renxue identity to Mu Chen.
• Qian Renxue plucked the Lovesick Heartbreak Red and accepted Mu Chen’s gifts, while he warned her against supporting Tang San and discussed the poisoned Emperor Xue Ye.
• Gu Yuena freed A'li and welcomed her into their group, while Mu Chen secretly organized Soul Tool production and helped A'li and Zhu Zhuqing grow stronger.

Mu Chen and Bibi Dong survived the Hell Realm, where Gu Yuena helped them destroy the Evil Soul Masters and escape. Back with their allies, Mu Chen prepared a team for the Soul Master Tournament while his relationships with Ning Rongrong and Qian Renxue developed.

• Mu Chen gave Bibi Dong the Snowy Swan Kiss and taught her the Zhe Character Secret, helping her suppress the poison and recover her strength.
• When Evil Soul Masters attacked, Bibi Dong rescued Mu Chen and killed their leader, then urged him to look beyond hatred and recognize those who cared about him.
