Background

Li Yi selected the Pluto Mech after failing to resonate with several other Divine Mechs. It was his remaining option among the unexamined units, and he chose it after seeking an answer through a dream 17.

Its activation was exceptionally difficult. Li Yi remained in its Insertion Pod for roughly ninety minutes before the 43-meter mech opened its eyes; its awakening projected an icy, hellish sensation that nearly froze onlookers’ thoughts 18. Though its startup time was considered a serious weakness, its raw combat performance immediately proved exceptional.

The mech is believed by some to have originally been an A-class Divine Mech that degraded after a prolonged lack of divinity. This remains an assessment rather than a confirmed origin 31.

The Pluto Mech’s greatest transformation occurred in the Moon’s God-Suppressing Prison. He Guangzhi theorized that the prison was built from Pluto’s main body, allowing an ascension there to elevate its traits into conceptual abilities 295. The resulting upgrade raised it to A-class high-tier and fundamentally expanded its freezing, gravity, and spatial capabilities 297 300 302.

During the Epoch Ruins incident, the mech absorbed immense divinity from a void rift and underwent another ascension. Li Yi learned that Divine Mechs are biomechanical bodies whose chest-mounted Divinity Cores function as “a universe within the universe,” enabling self-repair and effectively inexhaustible power 453. This process eventually allowed him to operate the Pluto Mech as naturally as his own body 455.

Appearance

The Pluto Mech’s design changes substantially with each ascension, while retaining its black coloration, humanoid silhouette, and imposing, abyssal presence.

• Initially a 43-meter, streamlined, all-black mech with icy eyes that evoke a brutal hell 18.
• After its first ascension, it reaches 69 meters and gains sharper, conical armor guards, hidden abyss-like patterns on its chest and arm guards, and a cold, planet-like texture 116.
• After the God-Suppressing Prison ascension, its armor becomes “multicolored black”: black with subtle shifting colors, thicker and more rounded balanced armor, and red eye-beams 299.

The Pluto Mech becomes Li Yi’s main platform for developing advanced combat techniques. It withstands the Lihuo Mech’s inherited skill, defeats the Flame Crow Mech with Layered Vibration, and cripples the Abyss Mech’s arm through a double-burst strike 24 36 50.

Ascension and Youth Mech Pilot Competition

After its first ascension, the 69-meter Pluto Mech gains a more refined, armored form 116. Li Yi uses it throughout the competition, placing third atop Great Peak and fighting multiple Divine Mechs at once 143 147.

God-Suppressing Prison Ascension

The mech ascends in the Moon’s God-Suppressing Prison, gaining conceptual freezing, gravity, and spatial traits. Its upgraded A-class high-tier form enables Li Yi to stalemate He Guangzhi’s Thunder King Mech with his newly created Celestial Rank ultimate move 295 299 302.

Epoch Ruins and Divine Armor

The Pluto Mech scans for Starborn forces at the Epoch Ruins, then absorbs divinity from a void rift and reveals its biomechanical principles to Li Yi 449 453. It later reaches the S-class limit and transforms into Pluto Divine Armor 456.

Netherheaven Divine Armor

While maintaining the Pluto Divine Armor, Li Yi upgrades and compresses the Uranus Mech. He successfully merges it into the Pluto foundation, creating the Netherheaven Divine Armor and triggering a planet-wide upheaval on Uranus 493 494.
