Background / History

Li Yi was born into a poor family in Mars Base 11’s shed district. Seeking financial security and the chance to evolve, he applied to the Deep Space Fleet as a mech pilot. Although his mech compatibility was considered low, he demonstrated overwhelming unarmed combat ability by knocking Lou Cheng away with a single punch and earned acceptance into the Fleet. He promised his friends from the shed district that he would bring them to the central base within ten years. 1

His defining innate ability is accessing and absorbing memory fragments from parallel worlds while dreaming. The fragments grant him knowledge, practical experience, and techniques, though he must filter and integrate them himself. Before entering the Fleet, he had already acquired perfected Unrestricted Combat, mastered parkour, shooting, weapon combat, throwing, and extensive life-or-death combat experience. 1

During the rookie competition, Li Yi rapidly rose to first place through ruthless, efficient victories against coordinated teams.
