Background

Qian Renxue is Bibi Dong’s daughter and Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. At nine years old, she was sent to participate in Spirit Hall’s Nation-Stealing Plan, assuming the identity of Heaven Dou prince Xue Qinghe. By the period to which her consciousness returns, the operation has continued for twelve years 1 4 12.

In her original timeline, she became the Angel God and witnessed the defeat of the Spirit Hall Empire. She describes even her best possible eventual outcome as dying of old age in captivity. She does not know what caused her to travel into the past or why she became lodged inside a child’s Martial Soul 1 30.

Her arrival does not replace her younger self. The present-day Qian Renxue remains active as Xue Qinghe, while the future Qian Renxue exists as a remnant consciousness within Jing Shanshan 5 29.

Personality

Qian Renxue is desperate to prevent Spirit Hall’s destruction and avoid reliving her original future. Her initial urgency makes her issue commands to Jing Shanshan before she understands his temperament. When promises of wealth, authority, and future knowledge fail to persuade him, she resorts to pleading 1.

She subsequently becomes more diplomatic, restraining her questions, addressing him as “my king,” and learning to frame requests around his interests. This accommodation does not eliminate her willingness to manipulate events: she considers killing Tang San before he becomes powerful and attempts to interest Jing Shanshan in a transformed hundred-thousand-year Soul Beast. He recognizes the latter attempt and warns her against steering him through schemes 8 9 12 21.

Despite her diminished strength, she repeatedly acts protectively. She steadies inexperienced students during battle, guards Jing Shanshan during a dangerous possession, and instinctively places herself before him when Tang Hao prepares a Ring Detonation attack. His reckless behavior increasingly makes her feel responsible for correcting him as an elder 15 24 40 41.

Awakening and Contact with the Worship Hall

Qian Renxue awakens inside Jing Shanshan’s Angel Martial Soul without understanding her circumstances. Hearing that Bibi Dong is still Pontiff leads her to suspect she has returned to a time before the Three Gods War. She persuades Jing Shanshan to seek Qian Daoliu, although his reason for helping is curiosity about the changes their meeting might produce rather than interest in her rewards 1 2.

Her proposed hidden entrance to Spirit Hall is rejected when Jing Shanshan realizes it requires crawling through a drainage opening. He instead attacks the headquarters to force an audience. His revelation about her consciousness alarms Qian Daoliu and triggers a confrontation with Bibi Dong over her younger self’s mission 2 3 4.

Gate of Babylon and the Forest Expedition

Initially skeptical of Jing Shanshan’s claims, Qian Renxue changes her assessment after he gives her a puppet body and shows her Gate of Babylon’s vast collection. She concludes that its potential exceeds that of the Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul, although she cannot resolve its Soul Power limitations 8 9.

As Shi Lang, she joins Hu Liena’s expedition to the Star Dou Great Forest. Her experienced defense helps stabilize a failed attack on a Qian Jun Ant nest, and her flame attack clears an escape route after Jing Shanshan’s Spirit-Luring Cauldron attracts a swarm 12 15 16.

She later assists his Soul Ring experiments. The puppet’s successful absorption proves temporary when its ring shatters; Jing Shanshan’s subsequent Angel Soul Ring instead produces a lasting improvement to her consciousness. She then guards him while he possesses Yue Guan to subdue the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger 20 21 22 24.

Meeting Her Younger Self

In Heaven Dou City, Qian Renxue uses her temporary independence to approach Xue Qinghe. She reveals Spirit Hall’s eventual destruction and recounts the major future events she remembers. Her younger self remains cautious, but the discussion produces a preliminary strategy to target Tang San during the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament finals at Spirit Hall 25 29 30.

She returns to Jing Shanshan after completing these discussions. His plan to consult Yu Xiaogang alarms her, and she later worries that his confrontation with Yu Xiaogang may change the latter’s influence on Tang San 30 33.

Tang Hao’s Attack

After Jing Shanshan’s encounter with Tang San, Tang Hao ambushes him and Qian Renxue. The Dark Demon Evil God Tiger carries them clear of the opening strike. She identifies their attacker and argues for caution, but Jing Shanshan deliberately continues the confrontation to witness the Great Sumeru Hammer 38 40.

When Tang Hao detonates his first six Soul Rings, Qian Renxue instinctively steps in front of Jing Shanshan, believing they cannot escape the attack. The tiger’s black hole forces Tang Hao to redirect his strike, after which he withdraws 41.
