With the survivors displaced and a new ranking of the Seven Great Sects announced, Lin Mo began assembling a sect of his own and offered the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud to Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling.

• Lin Mo absorbed the Golden Hawksbill Turtle’s Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring, reached rank seventy-seven, and revealed Charizard’s two powerful Martial Soul Avatar forms and his new Soul Bone abilities.
• Lin Mo encountered Xiao Wu and the two Titan Giant Apes in the Star Dou Great Forest, but Xiao Wu stopped the confrontation and left after Lin Mo challenged whether she belonged with humans or Soul Beasts.
• After Xue Ye’s death, Qian Renxue, disguised as Xue Qinghe, became emperor, named Lin Mo a prince, and presented him with the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud.
• Lin Mo took Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Dugu Yan received the Star Luo Spirit Pearl and Ye Lingling plucked and absorbed Lovesick Heartbreak Red.
• Spirit Hall attacked the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and exterminated the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, while Dugu Yan completed her Soul Core fusion and reached rank sixty-eight.
• Qian Renxue asked Lin Mo to recruit Dugu Bo and Ye Linyuan as imperial retainers, but they refused, and Lin Mo decided to form a sect and compete for a place among the Seven Great Sects.

Lin Mo formed the Body Sect by recruiting the Four Elements academies and the Breaking Clan, then strengthened his body Martial Soul and gathered companions for a journey to Sea God Island. After facing Wolf Bandits and gaining a pirate crew’s ship, the group reached the island’s waters and approached it under cover of night.

• Dugu Yan awakened the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud as its master, and she later demonstrated its defensive and offensive abilities to Lin Mo and Ye Lingling.
• Lin Mo accepted Yu Tianxin’s group into his faction on the condition that they abandon their Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan identities, then recruited the Four Elements academies for his planned sect.
• Lin Mo recruited Yang Wudi and the Breaking Clan into the Body Sect after giving Yang Wudi an Aromatic Silk Beauty and proving his strength in a spar.
• Ye Linyuan used the Gold of Life to awaken Lin Mo’s full-body Martial Soul, raising him to level seventy-nine and transforming his Scarlet Phoenix Wings into a Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bone.

Lin Mo and his companions reached Sea God Island, received powerful Sea God trials, and grew stronger through training and successive tests. After completing the Tidal Body Tempering trial, they prepared for the Battle of Whale and Shark as Tang San left Slaughter City for Shrek Academy.

• Lin Mo and his companions reached Sea God Island, crossed the Sea Within the Sea, and received their assessments, with Dugu Yan chosen for the Sea God’s Nine Trials and Lin Mo and Ye Lingling receiving Top-Level Eight Trials.
• Bo Saixi welcomed Dugu Yan as the Sea God’s successor and recognized Lin Mo’s strength, while the Sea God upgraded Shui Yue’er’s and Zhu Zhuqing’s assessments to Black Level Five Trials.
• Lin Mo led the group to Sea God Mountain, where they trained beneath the Sea God’s Light, and Feng Xiaotian and Ye Lingling gained God-Given Soul Rings, and Lin Mo reached level eighty before Charizard gained an eighth Soul Ring.
• The group completed their first trials, with Dugu Yan gaining Sea God Affinity and Lin Mo earning increased Soul Ring ages, then began the Ring Sea crossing while Xiao Bai challenged Lin Mo.
• Bo Saixi stopped Charizard from harming Xiao Bai, and Xiao Bai agreed to help the group find Soul Rings and provide Soul Bones, and Lin Mo formed a second Soul Core as his companions continued advancing.
• Lin Mo gave Huo Wu a Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower, and after six months of training the group crossed the Ring Sea with Charizard and the sisters’ Martial Soul Fusion Skill, completing the Second Trial.
• Bo Saixi took the group to Raging Wave Despair for the Tidal Body Tempering trial, where they endured the Sinking Silver Pillars for a year and Huo Wu achieved a Silver-Level Second Awakening.
• Lin Mo completed the Third Trial and learned the group’s Fourth Trial requirements, while Tang San completed his Seventh Soul Ring absorption and chose to visit Shrek Academy before Tang Hao took him to Heaven Dou City.

Lin Mo and his companions completed their Sea God trials, Dugu Yan claimed the Sea God Trident, and the group returned to the mainland. After Lin Mo killed Ma Hongjun and strengthened the Body Sect, Ye Lingling received her title in Spirit City, where Qian Daoliu offered Lin Mo secret information about the God of Angels.

• Tang San returned and allied with Dai Mubai to seize the Star Luo throne, while Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue learned of his return.
• Lin Mo and his companions exterminated the Evil Spirit Orcas, and Dugu Yan absorbed the Evil Orca King’s Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring and Soul Bone.
• The group defeated the Sacred Pillar guardians in their Fifth Trials, and Dugu Yan went on to defeat all seven within three days.
• Lin Mo passed Bo Saixi’s trial, and Huo Wu, Shui Bing'er, Feng Xiaotian, and Shui Bing'er’s companions advanced through their trials and absorbed powerful eighth Soul Rings.
