Meeting Qian Xunji

Ah Yin encounters Qian Xunji outside a Soul Beast Forest several days before they meet again in a plague-stricken town. Wearing a mask and blue dress, she introduces herself while he organizes the town’s emergency response 5.

She works alongside him caring for patients, feeding medicine to a sick child and continuing to brew herbs even after he urges her to rest. His concern and willingness to care personally for commoners draw her attention. Although attracted to him, she declines his invitation to travel together; her immature transformed state makes entering places frequented by powerful Soul Masters dangerous 6.

After the final patient recovers, Qian Xunji teaches her to dance at the town’s bonfire celebration. She again refuses to accompany him, but accepts a jade ring as a keepsake. Unfamiliar with romantic gift exchanges and possessing nothing she considers equally valuable, she gives him nothing in return. She cries when his carriage leaves 7 8.

Traveling with the Tang Brothers

Ah Yin later meets Tang Xiao and Tang Hao in the Star Dou Great Forest. They travel together for a year and formally become sworn siblings, with Tang Xiao as the eldest, Tang Hao as the second brother, and Ah Yin as the youngest 16.

Three years after her separation from Qian Xunji, Yue Guan and Gui Mei locate her outside Suotuo City. Learning that Qian Xunji belongs to Spirit Hall alarms her: she fears being exposed and killed for her Soul Ring and Soul Bone. She refuses to meet him and asks his envoys to say their connection has ended. They leave without forcing her, and the three sworn siblings depart the area 16 17.

Exposure and Pursuit

Years later, the Tang brothers take Ah Yin to an auction house in the Heaven Dou Empire. A Soul Douluo with an unusually perceptive Martial Soul notices something abnormal about her and spreads his suspicions. A Titled Douluo subsequently confirms her Soul Beast identity, triggering a hunt for her 21.

Tang Xiao uses Ring Detonation to delay their attackers, allowing Tang Hao to escape with Ah Yin. When the pursuers surround them near Holy Soul Village, she urges Tang Hao to leave rather than die protecting her. He instead detonates all eight Soul Rings and attacks Spirit Eagle Douluo 21.

After Spirit Eagle Douluo shatters Tang Hao’s Clear Sky Hammer, Ah Yin catches him rather than fleeing. Qian Xunji arrives and declares that Spirit Hall will take her. Believing that he also wants her Soul Ring, she agrees to leave only after receiving assurances that Tang Hao will be returned to the Clear Sky Sect 22.

Confinement in Spirit City

Ah Yin is placed in a secluded courtyard residence with guards nearby; visitors require Qian Xunji’s written permission. Qian Xunji tells Qian Daoliu that he intends to preserve her Soul Ring for his eventual advancement to Titled Douluo, but does not kill her 23.

During a visit, Qian Xunji seals her Soul Power, kisses her, and restrains her when she attempts to push him away. The subsequent bedroom scene implies a sexual encounter. He orders her not to leave the residence without reason and promises that she will not be harmed in Spirit City 23.

During the celebration of Bibi Dong’s appointment as Holy Maiden, Ah Yin watches fireworks and thinks of her sworn brothers. Qian Xunji agrees to take her outside, where she explores the festive streets, chooses a blue rose mask, and receives food purchased by Gui Mei 25.

Ah Yin is compassionate and hardworking. She continues preparing medicine rather than resting after a day of treating patients, and takes genuine pleasure in their recovery. Her refusal to abandon the injured Tang Hao likewise places another person’s safety above her own 6 7 22.

Her early experience of human society is limited. She does not know how to dance or understand the significance of exchanging gifts between a boy and a girl. Unfamiliar romantic feelings leave her flustered enough to avoid Qian Xunji, despite wanting to grow closer to him 7.

Her caution comes from the danger attached to her identity. She avoids major cities and rejects reunion with Qian Xunji after learning his Spirit Hall background. In safer moments, she shows an openly curious side, enjoying fireworks, street food, and masks 6 17 25.
