Lin Xi negotiated cooperation with the Body Sect, then helped clear out hidden enemies in Star Luo City. As the tournament began, he secured the Ice Jade Scorpion Left Arm Bone from Emperor Xu Jiawei, while Wang Dong'er confronted the woman she called Tang Wutong.

• Lin Xi proposed cooperation between Chaldea and the Body Sect, and Du Busi agreed to discuss what each side would gain.
• Lin Xi and Du Busi scheduled an operation against the Holy Spirit Cult for the next day, and Lin Xi later killed an Evil Soul Master with Excalibur.
• Lin Xi told Bei Bei that an Evil Soul Master had captured Tang Ya, and Bei Bei swore to protect her.

Lin Xi accompanied Du Busi and others to Sunset Forest, where he found Youyou at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and obtained Tang San’s Medicine Classic and Poison Classic. The story then shifted among other characters and conflicts, including Mu En seeking help for Xuan Zi and Tang Ya.

• Lin Xi and the others descended into Sunset Forest, where Du Busi returned from scouting and told Lin Xi he had found the place but had not entered because of its deadly poisons.
• The group reached a valley covered by seven-colored poisonous clouds and dark blue vines, where Youyou lived among the Plant-type Soul Beasts at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.
• Lin Xi threatened Youyou until she handed over Tang San’s Medicine Classic and Poison Classic, then asked Du Busi to read along.
• Lin Xi questioned Youyou for about two hours, then called out “Donald Duck” at the ice spring, and Huo Yuanjia answered the password.
• Huo Yutong woke after another hour with an icy breath, and Electrolux returned control of the body to Lin Xi.
• Du Busi sensed the flower’s strength and asked whether Lin Xi was sure he wanted it, while other characters faced conflicts across the continent.
• Mu En asked Elder Zhuang whether he could save Xuan Zi and Tang Ya, and Elder Zhuang said he could keep Xuan Zi alive but that Tang Ya faced an unknown complication.

Lin Xi brought Huo Yutong to the Body Sect, where his situation changed how the sect viewed him, and later negotiated with the Snow Empress. The Snow Empress agreed to become his Soul Spirit, while other conflicts continued across the story.

• Lin Qiu'er reconsidered what had happened in Star Luo City and concluded that Wang Dong'er had been right, while Di Tian questioned whether her account was true.
• Lin Xi and the others returned from the Far North with their gains, and Du Busi welcomed Jin Peng into the Body Sect family.
• The Body Sect elders witnessed Huo Yutong's powerful Soul Skill, and Du Busi stopped them from intervening when she defeated Long Aotian.
• Du Busi explained Lin Xi's situation to the Body Sect, then showed Lin Xi and Huo Yutong around and brought them to their accommodations.
• Niu Tian and Tai Tan arrived in Heaven Dou City intending to report their intelligence to Third Brother, and Tang San accepted Niu Tian's request to speak through an azure-blue screen.
