Di Chen narrowed his eyes slightly. "A Great Emperor."

Indeed, the newcomer was a Great Emperor, though only a lingering clone.

But even that was extremely troublesome for Di Chen as he was now.

He could not possibly defeat a Great Emperor.

"Little fellow, you truly defy the heavens, reaching the Great Saint cultivation realm at such a young age. But can you still leave today?"

The towering figure spoke slowly. His words were very calm, but the killing intent within them made one's hair stand on end.

With a light flick of his finger, a strand of black light flew out, becoming a streak that shot toward Di Chen.

The streak traced a dazzling path through the air, carrying a destructive presence. Everything in its path was pierced through and reduced to powder.

This power was too strong. Even Di Chen at his peak could not withstand it, let alone now.

Boom!

With a tremendous crash, the streak struck Di Chen's body.

"Urgh!"

Di Chen spat out a mouthful of blood and was hurled backward. His chest caved in, nearly pierced through by that single strike.

"What a strange move. As expected of a Great Emperor!" Di Chen struggled to his feet and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

A cold light flickered in his eyes.

"Hahahaha! Junior, today, this emperor will personally send you to the Yellow Springs." The towering figure laughed.

He reached out and grasped, and a majestic, imposing city appeared high in the sky. It stood between heaven and earth, ancient and vast.

An oppressive presence swept across the eight directions, as though it were a true immortal city. It sank downward, seeking to suppress Di Chen.

"Cangxuan City, suppress him!" The imposing figure's indifferent voice rang out.

Rumble!

Cangxuan City shook violently, as though myriad Gods and Devils had revived. With a supreme presence, it sought to bury Di Chen.

Di Chen's expression grew utterly grave. Before a Great Emperor, he felt as insignificant as an ant.

Yet he remained standing, unafraid.

A trace of resolve appeared in his eyes. He crushed the jade talisman in his hand. This was the life-saving measure the Tenth Ancestor gave me before

I set out. To think I would use it so soon. I'm still a little weak, Di Chen thought, shaking his head.

"Junior! You can remain so calm even before this emperor! Not bad, not bad," the figure praised.

Then the light in his eyes grew even fiercer. "In that case, you deserve death all the more." The city overhead

suddenly erupted with even more terrifying power, enveloping Di Chen.

Boom!

Heaven crumbled and earth split. The entire land shook, and all the distant mountains were reduced to ash.

The surrounding cultivators were scared witless. They took to the air one after another, fleeing the area.

"Run! Ke'er, we're going to get caught in this! Damn it, are ginger beef noodles more important, or is your life more important? I'll break your legs when we get back..."

"Kekekeke! My dear grandson! Grandpa's here. Let's see which fool with no fear of death dared bully my dear grandson! Zehahahaha! Zehahahaha!"

Crack, crack! Heaven and earth changed color, and the sky began to collapse,

as enormous fissures appeared one after another.

Bang! The city in the sky shattered, and the figure reeled backward as though struck by lightning.

His face was filled with shock and disbelief. Who on earth was this? Why did he possess such power?

Hum... hum... hum! The space before Di Chen flickered between light and darkness, and then an old man stepped out.

The old man's hair and beard were white, and his figure was stooped, but his eyes shone brilliantly, like two bright moons.

This was an old man who leaned on a walking stick, slowly making his way over.

There was no powerful presence about him, but his arrival made everyone around him tremble.

It was a fear that came from the soul, as though they had encountered their natural enemy.

"What's going on?!" Everyone was stunned. "Who on earth is this old man? There isn't the slightest fluctuation coming from him."

"Grandpa! You're here!" Di Chen called out. This man was none other than Di Chen's grandfather, Di Ku!

Hearing this, the old man immediately stopped, then smiled.

"Grandpa?"

Everyone was dumbfounded!

"So this old man is the youth's grandfather."

"Chen'er, are you all right?" Di Ku

asked with concern. Then he looked sharply at Di Chen. "Who exactly hurt you?"

"Who are you?!" the figure in the sky roared, his whole body erupting with overwhelming majesty.

"Noisy!" Di Ku barked coldly and slapped at him.

Rumble! Heaven crumbled and earth split, and even the sky shattered. That figure was sent flying by a single slap.

"Aah!" The figure let out an agonized scream.

His hair hung loose, and he looked utterly bedraggled, his eyes filled with terror and fury.

Just who was this old man?!

"What the hell does a chat between grandfather and grandson have to do with you? Get lost!" Di Ku snorted, disdain in his eyes.

"You're courting death! I am a mighty Great Emperor! How could I suffer such humiliation?!" The figure was enraged. He charged over again, his killing intent fierce, as though he would cut down everything.

"Ant! How dare the light of a firefly vie with the sun and moon?!" Di Ku was enraged.

He extended his right hand, spreading his fingers into a sky-shrouding hand that slapped down toward the figure.

Another slap swept over.

The figure was slapped away, coughing up great mouthfuls of blood. Half his face

had caved in. The teeth on that side fell out as well.

Pfft!

Di Ku sneered. "You think you're worthy of being called a Great Emperor? How disgraceful."

"Aah!"

The figure threw his head back and roared, his voice carrying for a hundred miles. His eyes were blood-red as he stared at Di Ku.

"Old bastard, even if I have to sacrifice this clone today, I will kill you," the figure said through gritted teeth.

With that, he waved his hand, and a great halberd appeared.

The halberd was black as ink, covered in ancient patterns, as though it had weathered long ages.

The instant the halberd appeared, the surrounding temperature plummeted.

An overwhelming intent of slaughter radiated from it, making everyone's hearts tremble, as though a peerless sword had pierced their bodies.

Boom!

The figure gripped the halberd and swung it fiercely, cleaving toward Di Ku.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Space shattered as the halberd smashed down viciously.

"Halt!" Di Ku said mildly. Then the halberd actually stopped in midair, unable to advance any farther.

The figure froze, staring at the sight in disbelief. "How is this possible? No... no... you're not..."

"Die!" Di Ku clenched his great hand!

Bang! The halberd began shattering inch by inch. The figure

shuddered as though struck by lightning. He spat out a mouthful of blood, then turned into a mass of golden light that dispersed between heaven and earth.

The Cangnan Domain Lord's pupils also contracted sharply. He had not expected this youth to bring forth such an existence, who was even his grandfather. His eyes filled with terror and despair.

An existence at this level could destroy him with a single finger.

Why did you have to show off?! Couldn't you have just come out and taken me away?! the Cangnan Domain Lord cursed furiously inwardly. Damn it! I can only use that move!

"Blood Escape!"

Bang! The Cangnan Domain Lord

exploded, turning into an endless rain of blood that scattered in every direction, vanishing without a trace.

"Hmm?" Di Chen frowned. He had not expected this fellow to know such an escape move, but so what? He did not care!

"Tch! A mere Blood Escape, nothing but an unorthodox trick! Chen'er, do you need Grandpa to catch him for you?" Di Ku turned his head and asked.
