"Thoughtful of you, Elder Wang! What could a few old dogs possibly do to me? I was only toying with them." Di Chen suddenly opened his eyes and spoke calmly.

"What? He's still alive!" everyone exclaimed.

The Imperial Preceptor and the others looked positively livid.

"You're actually unharmed?" Li Xinghe said through gritted teeth, wishing he could tear out Di Chen's tendons, rip apart his bones, grind them to dust, and scatter the ashes.

Di Chen grinned. "If you want to die, I don't mind sending you on your way. No need to rush."

A streak of green sword light on Di Chen's body entered him, and his injuries began healing. In mere moments, he was restored to his original condition.

This was the Undying Sword Physique, capable of regrowing flesh and replacing bones, defying heaven and changing fate, rendering the flesh indestructible and undying!

But that massive sword pursued him.

"Get away from me!" the Cangnan Domain Lord roared madly.

With a crack, the Firmament Pagoda was cleaved in two, falling to the ground as two heaps of scrap metal.

"No! Impossible!" The Cangnan Domain Lord's eyes reddened, and he roared in fury.

"I refuse to accept this!" His fury surged to the heavens.

Li Xinghe and the others looked ashen.

They knew it was over. All the Cangnan Domain Lord's trump cards had been exposed, and now even his Quasi-Emperor Artifact was gone.

This time, they had fallen flat on their faces.

The massive sword struck the Cangnan Domain Lord hard. He was sent flying, gravely wounded.

"No!" the Imperial Preceptor screamed in terror. Then he discovered that he could not escape at all and was cleaved in two.

A massive sword hovered in the air. Di Chen slowly stroked its edge with his left hand, as though caressing a lover.

Hum, hum, hum!

The sword trembled, bursting with dazzling light.

Boom!

A hundred-meter-long streak of sword light cut across the horizon, tearing through the firmament as it swept toward the Cangnan Domain Lord.

Suddenly, the sky twisted, revealing a pitch-black passage. A massive black hand appeared out of thin air and seized the sword light.

Boom! The sword light dispersed, turning into specks of starlight that merged into heaven and earth.

"Hm?

What is that?" Di Chen frowned and looked toward the void, his eyes carrying a piercing killing intent.

"Brat! Where you can spare someone, spare them. Why must you slaughter them to the last!"

A sinister, icy voice rang out from the spatial rift.

Immediately afterward, a tall, imposing figure stepped out of the rift. His features were indistinct, as though shrouded in a layer of mist. His every movement drew upon the surrounding Spiritual Qi. A single sentence from him seemed to make heaven crumble and earth split.

After this figure appeared, everyone fell to their knees, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
