Haruno first approaches Luo Shu at Makuhari Seaside Park alongside her younger sister, Yukino. Skeptical of his claims, she nevertheless seeks help after he predicts Yukino’s impending “Bloody Disaster.” Luo charges her 100,000 yen and produces a ruby necklace carrying enough luck to avert the calamity; Haruno witnesses its supernatural radiance and hurriedly hides the jewel from onlookers 2 3 4.
