• Ace’s fireball failed to break through Aokiji’s ice dome, and Aokiji used Life Return to reduce his oxygen needs.
• Xia Chen revealed that he also knew Life Return, then told Ace he would break through the dome and hold Aokiji off while Ace escaped.
• Xia Chen and his clone unleashed Hakai, blasting a hole through the ice dome, but Aokiji struck Xia Chen as he tried to flee.
