Already a renowned prodigy of the Eastern Wasteland, Han Bingning accepts Ye Xuan as her disciple after his Chaos Sacred Body awakens. His progress immediately exceeds her expectations, including surpassing her record with the Supreme Profound Scripture 3 4.

Their early training includes a spar arranged by eight ancestors. She secretly raises her suppressed cultivation from the third to the fifth layer of Origin Condensation, yet still struggles to subdue him. After the match, she shows concern and guilt over his injuries 23 24.

As Holy Lord, she also protects his right to fight his own battles. Before his hundred-opponent challenge, she secures an agreement that neither side will interfere or seek retaliation for deaths in the match 46.

Conflict with the Carefree Holy Land

After receiving reports that Ye Xuan has died in the Mystic Origin Mountain Range, Han Bingning waits at the exit for those responsible. His unexpected return shocks the gathered factions 121.

She subsequently crushes the Carefree Holy Land’s Sixth Ancestor and kills Ge Tian despite five other ancestors arriving to intervene. Ye Xuan recognizes that her public actions establish his importance within the Ancient Desolate Holy Land 123.

Xuanyuan Mystic Realm

Han Bingning repeatedly confronts the First Ancestor to prevent him from taking Ye Xuan’s Chaos Sacred Body. His sealing cage restrains and injures her, but she later stands guard over Ye Xuan’s cultivation and fights both the First Ancestor and Gu Ran when they return 225 236 237.

When the First Ancestor summons a saintly phantom, its finger strike overwhelms her defenses. Ye Xuan pulls her into his arms and takes the attack in her place. After the ancestor’s defeat, she refuses the best portal opportunity and enters the second portal, leaving the first for her disciple 260 263.

Listening to Rain Tower

Strengthened by gains from the Xuanyuan Mystic Realm, Han Bingning defeats the Listening to Rain Tower Master and demands compensation for the organization’s attacks. She kills Gold Face when he attempts to flee; the Tower Master is also dead by the time she rejoins Ye Xuan 292 293 297.

Injury and Escape to the Azure Cloud Domain

Han Bingning fights the Saber Sect Holy Maiden and two demon kings simultaneously, severely wounding two opponents before suffering grave internal injuries. Ye Xuan returns under a lightning tribulation, drives the enemies away, and carries her out of the Eastern Wasteland through a hidden teleportation gate 339 340 341.

Even while injured, she secretly kills the peak Divine King Xian Liao. Her eventual recovery restores her ability to confront Venerables, including a Saber Sect intruder whom she wounds with an ice sword 353 354 391.
