As the firelight flickered, Derrick and the others instinctively looked toward the dark red long table, their first notice being of the figure closest to them.
The figure was dressed in a simple linen robe, with long silver hair, and his features were indistinct, yet Colin, Lovia, and Derrick felt a strange sense of familiarity towards him.
A moment later, as if struck by lightning, their hazy memories were suddenly illuminated:
" Angel of Fate of Ouroboros!"
The pupils of the people in City of Silver had just dilated when the figure turned its head and looked at them.
A pair of indifferent eyes immediately filled their field of vision, and a series of ethereal and mysterious rings came into view.
In a daze, Derrick saw a figure appear in front of him. He was a handsome, sunny, and energetic man wearing a Pure White robe and with short blond hair.
With his arrival, the surrounding area became exceptionally bright, and a warm feeling, like sunlight, instantly filled every place.
Derrick felt as if he had witnessed the legendary daylight, momentarily forgetting where he was and what he was supposed to do.
The man stepped forward, his illusory and blurry figure overlapping with Derrick's.
Then, Derrick sat down at the long, dark red table and took one of the high-backed chairs.
He transformed into the handsome, sunny man from before, now participating in a Concealment gathering.
At the same time, Colin, the chief of City of Silver with gray hair and many old scars on his face, encountered a similarly blurry and illusory figure.
The figure was seven or eight meters tall, dressed in full silver armor, with a ray of light in its eyes that resembled both Dawn Twilight.
He raised the longsword in his hand, holding it like a scepter against Colin Iliad's forehead.
" Demon Hunter " Colin struggled for a moment, then was enveloped in an orange-red glow and quickly calmed down.
He merged with the Giant's figure opposite him, strode over to the dark red table, and sat down in the second seat on the right.
The Shepherd, Lovia, encountered a man dressed in a long black robe. He had shoulder-length, dark curly hair and eyes that seemed to be shrouded in shadow. His features were not very clear and difficult to see, but the silver threads, intricate patterns, and gorgeous accessories on his clothes immediately came to Lovia's mind.
Lovia trembled and couldn't help but lower her head, letting the layers of ethereal black wings that spread out behind her envelop her.
She transformed into that man and walked to the head of the dark red long table.
There were two high-backed chairs with intricate patterns on them, Lovia chose the one on the left.
The remaining members of the City of Silver exploration team encountered a similar situation, only the figures they faced were different.
After they found seats on either side of the dark red table, the empty high-backed chair at the head of the table seemed to deepen in space, outlining a female figure as if shrouded in mist.
Immediately afterwards, a voice that seemed to have traveled from ancient times echoed in the ears of the "gatherers":
"... We are redeeming ourselves, and we are also maintaining the balance of this world..."
"... Division and divergence are undoubtedly the most fundamental aspects of order..."
"... That was also His idea..."
"... Undeniably, we all have our dark thoughts and desires, but that's perfectly normal..."
"... Death and bloodshed will be inevitable; we will call ourselves ' Rose Redemption '..."
Above the Gray Fog, Klein listened intently, eagerly hoping the voice would reveal more.
However, both the visuals and the sound started looping at this point, as if the moment that was frozen in time was only a few dozen seconds long.
Is this the scene when " Rose Redemption " was founded? The Evil Spirit " Red Angel " said it was an extremely Concealment organization founded by a group of corrupted Angel, but now it seems that's not the case... The one who said that back then wasn't Medici, but one of Sauron or Einhorn. They didn't actually know that much about " Rose Redemption "... Klein muttered to himself, turning his gaze back to the people of City of Silver who were like Puppet, repeatedly approaching, sitting down, listening, and moving away.
--As the torches around the hall lit up one after another, Klein had already noticed the anomaly with the help of " Spirit Vision ".
He saw the murals on the walls come to life, rapidly expanding and merging with the hall, warming the long tables, chairs, and floor tiles that had been cold for thousands of years, and allowing the figures who had once met here to transcend the barriers of time and "revive" in their fixed locations, and allowing some of their words from ancient times to be passed down to the present.
And among those figures, many were familiar to Klein.
Among them, the first one he saw was also the " Angel of Fate," Ouroboros.
This Angel King, who still belongs to the " Rose Redemption," is the most Spirituality of all the illusory figures.
Based on the recurring nature of the scene, Klein initially suspected that the person who painted the murals and left the traces was " The Tail Devourer " Ouroboros.
"In the ruins of the previous temple, there were murals left by Him. Somewhere in the Ruins of the Gods' Battle, there were also murals left by Him... In the ' Giant King's Court,' there are similar murals and similar powers. If you say it's not Him, I almost don't believe it... Just how much does this Angel King love murals? He paints them wherever he goes..." Klein couldn't help but mentally complain about Ouroboros.
The second figure he noticed sat beside " Angel of Fate " Ouroboros, wearing black armor splattered with blood, with bright red hair like burning flames, young and handsome.
The reason this figure caught Klein's attention was because he had seen it in a dream before.
In addition, "it" was also the most arrogant of all the figures, not only leaning back in its chair but also putting its feet on the dark red table, completely disregarding the fact that everyone around it was of the same high status.
" Red Angel," Medici!
These are the Angel King who participated in the secret gathering? Who else is there...? Klein's thoughts raced, and he decided to first rescue the people of City of Silver from their endless Fate Loop.
He has extensive experience in this area.
"Hmm, the medium of the cycle is the hall itself, but there's no need to try to destroy it. As long as we can briefly break the cycle of Fate, the Twilight outside will seep in and dispel the anomaly... They belong to the divine kingdom itself, and in terms of rank, they are no less powerful than the power left behind by Ouroboros..." Klein observed for a few seconds and quickly made a judgment.
After tossing a coin to perform a Divination, he immediately extended his Spirituality to the deep red star that represented the " The Sun ".
Derrick Berg's spirit then broke free from the cycle of Fate, creating an invisible gap.
The orange glow of Twilight outside the palace suddenly poured in through the high windows, enveloping the entire hall.
Before the little " The Sun " could figure out its own situation, Klein, fearing being locked on by the " True Creator," did not hesitate to send it back to the real world.
Derrick snapped out of his daze and found himself sitting on the side of the dark red table without realizing it.
He raised his head somewhat blankly and saw the Chief, Elder Lovia, Heim, Antillna, and others, noticing that a certain degree of confusion lingered on their faces.
Recalling his recent experience, Derrick became more alert and carefully considered his words before speaking:
"The cycle of Fate..."
"Indeed." Colin Iliad, nodded slightly and stood up.
He looked around and then focused his gaze on the largest and closest mural.
The mural depicts this hall, with the same stone pillars and torches, dark red long tables, elaborate high-backed chairs, and arrangement of objects.
Eleven figures sat on those high-backed chairs: two at the head, five on the left, and four on the right.
The gazes of everyone in City of Silver followed the chief's look, taking in the relevant information.
The five figures on the left are, in order: a graceful silver-haired man, a red-haired man sitting arrogantly, an old man wearing a hood that only reveals his mouth, wrinkles, and beard, a dignified middle-aged man in black armor, and a handsome man in a white robe;
On the right are four mummies bound by straps: a middle-aged or elderly man dressed in a dark black robe, whose facial features resemble those of people from the Southern Continent; Giant covered in silver full-body armor; and a plump, graceful, dignified, and holy lady.
The two high-backed chairs at the very front were occupied by a man with black curly hair and shadowy eyes, and a woman shrouded in mist.
At this moment, one of the " Guardian " raised his right hand and pointed at the handsome, sun-kissed man in white robes, saying:
His figure was composed of a cluster of mysterious symbols, the symbolic meaning of which was:
" Angel of Pure White, Aucuses..."
Before the Guardian could finish speaking, he suddenly let out a scream, and golden flames shot out from his body.
He instantly turned into a charred corpse, seemingly about to turn to ashes at the slightest touch, leaving " Demon Hunter " Colin and " Shepherd " Lovia no time to save him.
"Don't try to decipher those symbols; they contain immense power within themselves," Colin hurriedly warned in a deep voice.
But Klein, standing above the Gray Fog, was thinking about something else entirely:
"' Angel of Pure White ' Aucuses, is that the true name of the ' Eternal Blazing Sun '?"
"If it weren't for the power of the ' Giant King's Court ' itself separating them, simply uttering this name in the Jotun would attract attention and incur divine retribution..."
As his thoughts raced, " Demon Hunter " Colin planted his twin swords in front of him, creating an invisible barrier.
Then, the chief of City of Silver, on behalf of everyone, began to identify the symbols and markings that made up those figures.
He began reading slowly and resolutely, starting with the last one on the left:
" Angel of Fate, the Ouroboros..."
" Angel of War, Medici..."
" Angel of Wisdom, Herabergen..."
At this point, Colin Iliad invisible barrier was constantly swaying, paused, because the name was not unfamiliar to the people of City of Silver:
This is the real name of the " Dragon of Wisdom "!
Could it be that the " Dragon of Wisdom " later became Angel of Wisdom by the Lord's side? Similar questions arose in everyone's mind, but Klein discovered something strange:
The name Herabergen appears in the historical records of City of Silver, and the people there use the Jotun, a language that can manipulate the natural forces around them.
In other words, during these two or three thousand years, there must have been people in City of Silver who read and wrote about " Herabergen," but the " God of Knowledge and Wisdom " did not respond, and the Church of Knowledge still could not find the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
At this moment, Colin Iliad regained his composure and continued reciting:
" Angel of Wind, Leodero..."
" Angel of Pure White, Aucuses..."
" Dark Angel, Sasrir..."
" Amanises, the Evernight Goddess..."
" God of Combat, Badhair..."
" The Earth Mother, Omebella...
" The God of the Undead, Salinger..."
" Tolzna, the God of Spirits..."
... Although Klein had somewhat anticipated this, he was still taken aback by what he heard:
The " Rose Redemption " was once terrifyingly powerful!
Of the Seven Gods today, six are its members, in addition to the god of Death, the God of Spirits, and the three Angel King.
This reminded Klein of a line once spoken by the " Red Angel " Evil Spirit:
"The ' Rose Redemption ' is closely related to the birth of the ' True Creator.' Some individuals, whom you would never imagine, were once members of the ' Rose Redemption,' only to later leave the organization..."
