"1, 2, 3, 4, 5... It looks like there are twelve pairs of wings... According to the descriptions in the scriptures of various churches, this is the highest-ranking Angel..." Fors tried hard to recall the scene he saw in his half-dream state, feeling both shocked and not so shocked, as if he had encountered something extraordinary that he thought was a matter of course but had never encountered before.

It's not surprising that Mr. The Fool is served by Angel; one can imagine this from the occasional use of "He" by Miss Justice and Mr. The Hanged Man, and one can infer it from His ability to shield Him from the influence of the Full Moon Ravings... But my request was merely to interfere with Mr. Lawrence's Divination, and He directly sent Angel to protect me? This is too extravagant, isn't it? Or is this just routine for Him?

Um, there's another question. Why are the feathers on the Angel's wings black? Does it represent Depravity or death? What is the true identity of Mr. The Fool? Who is this great being? The " Death " who supposedly fell in the "Pale Age"? Does He want to resurrect Himself through Tarot Gathering? Fors suddenly took a breath, no longer worried that Mr. Lawrence would discover that he had a problem through Divination.

She thought about how she had already Tarot Club, gave a bitter smile, and whispered silently:

"We can only do as Emperor Roselle said, take it one step at a time..."

Composing herself, Fors humbly thanked Mr. The Fool again, then followed the normal procedure of the ritual, extinguishing the flames of the three candles and dealing with the altar filled with various items.

Above the Gray Fog, Klein temporarily put the matter of the Abraham Family out of his mind.

According to the original plan, he conjured paper and pen and wrote down the next Divination statement:

Daisy's current situation.

After putting down the pen, Klein stacked Daisy's vocabulary book and the paper with the Divination sayings written on it together, holding it in his left hand.

Then, leaning back in his chair, he entered a Cogitation state, silently repeating " Daisy's current situation" over and over again.

After repeating it seven times, Klein fell asleep, his vision first dark and reddish, then gray.

Images Blink by, some continuous, some disjointed, and some completely illogical.

Klein saw Liv's youngest daughter, a laundry worker, a thirteen or fourteen-year-old girl who had been repeatedly scalded by Steam but still insisted on ironing clothes, being forcibly dragged into a secluded alleyway by a man wearing a heavy jacket and a gray-black baseball cap, who covered her mouth with a handkerchief from behind.

Another man dressed similarly grabbed her legs and, together with his companion, lifted her up and walked away quickly.

Their destination was the carriage parked outside the alley.

The whole process took less than two minutes, and by the time Daisy's sister Freja returned and found the place, the carriage had already driven away.

Inside the carriage, Daisy, in a daze, had a cold, sharp dagger pressed against her face, and heard filthy, threatening words.

The carriage drove into Capim's luxurious villa.

Daisy found herself in a small, dark room, with the sounds of women crying, screaming, and cursing echoing outside.

Daisy regained consciousness and cried for help, but someone Door Opening and kicked her over, leaving her in so much pain that she couldn't stand up.

Tears streamed down her face as she repeatedly whispered words like "Mommy" and " Freja."

Klein opened his eyes and found that the paper he was holding in his left palm had been crumpled into a tight ball.

He had already determined that Capim was the mastermind behind many of the missing girls' cases and that he was the head of a criminal organization.

The problem is that this kind of case shouldn't and couldn't possibly involve too much extraordinary power. At most, there might be a few Sequence 7, Sequence 8, or Sequence 9 beings who are greedy for money helping out, and Klein wouldn't be able to sense a strong sense of danger through Spirituality intuition as soon as he approached the villa.

Could Capim be a Sequence 6, or even Sequence 5, Beyonder? But it's not difficult for Beyonder to make money at this level. There's no need for him to do such dirty and tedious things. He could just find various gangs and collect protection money from them one by one. That would be simpler, easier, and wouldn't get his hands dirty... Could Capim be hiding something else in his human trafficking scheme? As Klein pondered, he used the power of the Gray Fog to restore Daisy's vocabulary book to its original state.

After a few seconds of silence, he conjured another parchment and wrote down a new Divination statement:

"Rescuing Daisy is a dangerous thing."

After carefully reading it twice, Klein removed the pendulum from his left wrist, letting the citrine pendant dangle across the paper, almost touching the line of words.

After calming himself down for a few seconds, he closed his eyes and silently recited the Divination phrases he had just written.

When the sound stopped, Klein opened his eyes and looked at the pendulum he was holding in his left hand.

The citrine pendant was spinning clockwise quite quickly and with a large amplitude!

This indicates that rescuing Daisy is a very dangerous undertaking!

But it's not entirely hopeless; there's still a considerable possibility, a significant opportunity, as long as we can seize it... Klein deciphered the insights offered by the " Spirit Pendulum Method."

He leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes briefly, and chuckled self-deprecatingly:

Aren't you looking for opportunities to actively perform?

This is it!

"As a Magician, one must ultimately take on some challenging tasks; otherwise, one should be called Trickmaster, not Magician."

"To accomplish what seems impossible, even if the result is false—that's the image of Magician in my mind. As for whether it's one of the rules, that remains to be seen..."

Klein tapped his fingers lightly on the edge of the old table, making a quick decision.

The biggest challenge for him in rescuing Daisy and dealing with Capim is that he knows absolutely nothing about the other party, and doesn't know how many Beyonder are in that villa, or which pathway Sequence they belong to.

This prevented Klein from making targeted preparations.

For Magician, the first rule is, "Never perform without preparation!"

--Many seemingly impromptu performances are actually the result of some preparation, such as long-term practice of techniques and a deep understanding of how to divert attention.

"In the name of the Blessed,' should we ask Miss ' Justice ' to help us find out about Capim's background?" Klein seriously considered a solution to the problem.

But he quickly rejected this line of thought:

"No, we can't get detailed information on that. Although Capim is a wealthy man with connections to many important figures, he's never really in the public eye. At most, Miss ' Justice ' can find out which nobles, politicians, and government employees he has close relationships with, but she can't figure out how many Beyonder are in his villa, what traps he's set up, or what the layout is like..."

"Following these relationships and clues, Miss ' Justice ' might be able to find out what I want to know in a few weeks, but that's too slow. Saving lives is like putting out a fire; any delay will lead to tragedy."

Klein's gaze swept across the surface of the bronze table, over the corner piled with miscellaneous items, and an idea gradually took shape in his mind:

"On one hand, I had Miss ' The Magician ' and her friend Miss Hugh investigate Capim's background and find out which Beyonder he was involved with. They had good connections in the East Borough, in many gangs, and in many Beyonder circles. On the other hand, I took matters into my own hands and obtained the information I needed from the servants or bodyguards who came out of Capim's villa, using ' Spirit Channeling ' methods."

Having finalized the plan, Klein didn't rush to ask Miss " The Magician " for help. He decided to try it himself first, so that he could more effectively ask her to find out certain things.

In the blink of an eye, his figure disappeared into the majestic palace above the Gray Fog.

After lunch, a man wearing a gray-black baseball cap and a thick cotton coat carefully left through the back door of the Capim Villa, walked to the crossroads, and boarded a horse-drawn carriage.

" East Borough." He touched the dark red birthmark on his face and instructed the driver.

The carriage began to move, and the man gazed idly out the window, admiring the beautifully dressed ladies and young women on the street.

"If only I could kidnap them..." the man thought to himself, a regretful expression on his face.

After getting away from Iris Street, he suddenly shuddered, and his eyes became slightly vacant.

He knocked on the side of the carriage and said to the driver:

"Stop, stop! I forgot something, let's stop here."

The coachman dared not rebuke the fierce man, and without even uttering a sound, he stopped the carriage on the side of the street and let him get off.

After paying 6 pence for the fare, the man backed up several dozen meters and entered a cheap hotel.

Without needing to show identification, he paid for a room.

After entering, he only slightly ajar the door, without locking it.

Immediately, the man sat on the edge of the bed expressionlessly, and a transparent, ethereal figure suddenly separated from his body!

This is Klein dressed as a worker!

He summoned himself, transforming into a spirit and attaching himself to the man, leading him to a place convenient for " Spirit Channeling "!

After knocking the man unconscious, Klein, in his spirit form, disappeared from the room. Not long after, the door was pushed open, and he re-entered the room, his flesh and blood solidified.

Klein quickly set up a " Spirit Channeling " ritual, sealing the area with Wall of Spirituality, allowing the ethereal and captivating scents of " Amanda " hydrosol and " Eye of Spirit " potion to waft through the air.

He was about to begin his " Spirit Channeling " when he suddenly exclaimed "Eh!" and stopped.

He discovered that the spirit of the man who was unconscious on the bed was subject to mysterious and unknown restrictions. If he were to force a " Spirit Channeling," although he would likely succeed, it would trigger a mark that would be noticed by some Beyonder!

This will alert the enemy!

A very strange and extraordinary ability... Very cautious, very careful... The things Capim is involved in are really not simple... Klein paced a few steps, his brows furrowing slightly.

He glanced at the unconscious man, then suddenly chuckled:

You think this will stump me?

He quickly interrupted the Spirit Channeling ritual and summoned himself again, responding to his own calls.

A few seconds later, his spirit form flew out of the candlelight and Levitation in the room once more.

Without any hesitation, Klein, in his spirit form, suddenly stepped forward and possessed the unconscious man.

The man suddenly sat up, opened his eyes, and looked rather dazed.

He straightened up, walked step by step to the front of the altar, and then whispered:

" The Fool That Doesn't Belong to This Era!"

"You are the Mysterious Ruler Above the Gray Fog;"

"You are the King of Yellow and Black, who holds the key to good fortune."
