All the invisible defenses shattered instantly, as if made of paper. The Giant's head then exploded, turning into countless charred chunks of flesh that flew in all directions. Within his headless body, pale gas tinged with a sinister green vapor evaporated and dissipated, taking away all its vitality.
All of this happened in the blink of an eye. Klein, wearing a triple crown and papal robes, raised the white bone scepter in his hand even higher.
A cyan light rippled outwards in concentric circles, and the howling wind billowed his cloak.
In a large part of the outer region of Calderon, dark clouds rapidly gathered and pressed down, making the area appear even darker and more oppressive.
