"People of Silvermoon City, I am Sylvanas Windrunner, Ranger-General!"
"In my hand I hold the Windrunner's Warbow, a symbol of the Windrunner family's glory, and in my other hand I hold the Guardian of Falinrosh Quel'Thalas, bestowed upon me by the Sun King! From the moment I was appointed Ranger-General, I became the Keeper of this nation!"
"Behind me, in every corner of Silvermoon City, tens of thousands of elven rangers are fighting! Fighting bloody battles! Every single one of them is Keeper of Quel'Thalas!"
"In every place you can see, and in every place you haven't yet seen, many more High Elf are fighting—soldiers and guards, nobles and commoners, old and young—they are all Keeper of Quel'Thalas!"
Outside the city, Ranger-Generals Thrall Hawkspear and Nathanos Marius, leading the rangers of Eversong Woods and Ghostlands, stood ready for battle. They too Keeper of Quel'Thalas!
"Further away, reinforcements from the Order of the Silver Hand Lordaeron have arrived, and they are willing to help us defend Quel'Thalas!"
" The Sun King has contacted the leaders of various countries, and more reinforcements are on their way. Silvermoon City is not alone; the whole world will stand with us!"
"Now, with your shouts and fists, with any weapons you can find, with your anger and the bones of the Undead, tell me that every one of you is Keeper of Quel'Thalas!"
The Windrunner family enjoys immense prestige among the High Elf. Since following their Sunstrider ancestors to this land thousands of years ago, the Windrunner family has been the leaders of the ranger forces. Successive generations of Windrunner have served as generals of the Silvermoon City ranger forces, a position that has never fallen to anyone else.
It could even be said that the Windrunner family's status is second only to the Sunstrider family!
The High Elf were willing to believe in Sylvanas and Windrunner!
At the same time, in other corners of Silvermoon City, voices rose and fell in waves:
"I am Vandellor, Archbishop of the High Elf Church of the Holy Light, and I am currently fighting the Scourge near the Eastern Wall!"
"I am Liadrin, a high Priest, and I fight alongside my mentor! Dozens of other Priest are with me; we stand with you!"
"I am Salorian Dawnseeker, wielder of the holy sword Quel'Delar, and I am fighting the Undead in the Sunstrider Court! Beside me are the Spellbreaker who remained! Soldiers of the Sunfury Legion and the Dawnblade Legion! And High Elf Paladin summoned from Lordaeron!"
One voice after another rang out, stirring up fighting spirit and awakening courage!
Beside Sylvanas, Jiang Jie picked up where Sylvanas, his voice echoing throughout every corner of Silvermoon City:
"I am Nicholas Jiang, the vice commander of the Ashen Army, Earl of the Kingdom of Lordaeron, the wielder of the divine sword Strom'kar, and the successor to the will of Emperor Thoradin!"
"2800 years ago, when the Troll Empire invaded, humans fought alongside the High Elf. Together, we defeated the Amani Trolls. Now they cower in the cramped Zul'Aman, their glory long gone!"
"During World War II, when Orcs and other Horde races ravaged the Horde, humans once again fought alongside the High Elf. Now the Orcs are scattered and hiding somewhere, too afraid to show their faces!"
"Now, the Scourge has invaded. Humanity has not forgotten our former Alliance and has once again extended a helping hand. Are the High Elf willing to fight alongside humanity?"
Silence, silence, then a voice echoed in the western part of Silvermoon City:
" Lana'thel, the Prince's Guard, is ready to fight! The High Elf will never yield! Silvermoon City will never fall!"
The first sound rang out, then the second, and the third.
Then, the voices merged into a powerful wave, resounding throughout Silvermoon City.
We are ready for war!
"This is our home! We will protect it ourselves! We can't let humans laugh at us!"
" The High Elf are the children of the stars! We will never yield!"
Silvermoon City will never fall!
When their courage is awakened, the High Elf display formidable fighting prowess, a strength that even the Scourge cannot contain.
Jiang Jie quickly arrived at the prison in Silvermoon City.
The jailers are gone; they are fighting the Undead.
Jiang Jie entered the prison effortlessly, opened each door with his divine sword, and found the imprisoned ranger lord Lor'themar.
Silvermoon City needs every ounce of strength now; Lor'themar shouldn't be in prison.
The outside world was his true world, his battlefield.
Meanwhile, an ancient red dragon is flying from Northrend to Silvermoon City.
However, upon suddenly sensing a terrifying energy fluctuation, his expression changed.
"Did the Sunwell explode?"
"Looks like we can't go to Silvermoon City; the Sunwell is more important!"
Arthas was very displeased by the High Elf ' bravery.
He never expected that these guys, whose will had been broken, could still regain their fighting spirit.
And the one who caused all of this was the dead wandering general, Nicholas, who drove him away on Whispering Shore!
At that moment, Arthas really wanted to go and kill them himself!
" Dar'Khan has succeeded. The Runestone Barrier has vanished, and the Sunwell has exploded. My prince, slaughtering the High Elf is meaningless; our target is the Sunwell. The Sun King and the most powerful members of the Sunstrider Dynasty have returned to the Sunwell Plateau, especially among them a large number of mages. These mages, gathered together, can quickly break the imprisoning spells, then re-establish contact with the Sunwell and rebuild the Runestone Barrier. At that time, there will be no second Dar'Khan; we cannot breach the Sunwell."
Kel'Thuzad's voice rang out. "Head to the Sunwell Plateau immediately! We must hurry! Don't let these damned High Elf hold us back!"
Anger did not cloud the Death Knight's judgment; the human prince, once known as the "Pride of Lordaeron," quickly made a decision.
He didn't need to shout or cry out; his will, through Frostmourne and the vast spiritual network established by the Lich King, reached every Undead.
Arthas, sword in hand, mounted his horse, and at least 50,000 of the Undead, the best of Undead 150,000, immediately followed him, forming a death tide that broke through the walls of Silvermoon City and reached the northern coast.
Across the sea lies Isle of Quel'Danas, the location of the Sunwell Plateau.
The two places are too far apart; it is a vast strait, and as far as mortals can see, there is only a small island. Not to mention fifty thousand Undead, even if all the High Elf, or even all of humanity, were filled in, they still wouldn't be able to fill this strait.
There are no ferries here, and the nearest Sunsail Anchorage, is dozens of kilometers away. Silvermoon City has no dedicated coastline.
How can the Undead cross the strait?
At this moment, Sylvanas, Jiang Jie, Lor'themar, Halduron, and everyone else all turned their gazes toward the distant coastline and toward the Scourge, which surged like a tidal wave.
Although Jiang Jie already knew how Arthas would cross the sea, he still looked forward to seeing that scene.
Just like two days ago, Arthas walked to the shore, then held the Frostmourne sword upside down with both hands, plunging the tip of the sword into the sea.
The next moment, the frost power from Northrend, centered on Frostmourne, spread deeper into the ocean.
The sea turned into ice, forming a frost-covered path stretching towards the other shore. The thick ice could withstand Anub'Rekhan's crawling, and naturally, it could also withstand the crushing of countless Undead.
Arthas drew his divine sword, mounted his skeletal warhorse, and his Invincible strides carried him further and further away from Silvermoon City and closer and closer to Quel'Danas.
Whenever Arthas reached the end of the Frost Road, he would point the tip of Frostmourne forward, and the sea would freeze even further.
What kind of scene is this?
With the power of one man, he froze the entire strait, creating an ice road more than one kilometer wide and stretching for tens of kilometers!
The saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" holds true. Arthas, with his Legendary power and the runic sword in his hand, connected with the extreme cold of Northrend and completely shattered this ironclad rule!
