Qi Longxiang
Su Xiaomi had just finished making Sky Communicator and handed the phone to Mu Fan when Mu Fan looked up and met Sang Pu Jie's gaze as he looked back.
"Black Fan Grandmaster?" Sang Pu Jie was dumbfounded. His boss had ordered him to deal with the person in front of him?
He's fine, but he's not running a fever.
"Hmm." Mu Fan narrowed his eyes, glanced at Sang Pu Jie, then at the man behind him, and said coldly:
Are you sure you want to help him?
I'm not sure... Sang Pu Jie's legs felt like they were rooted to the ground, and he desperately wanted to tell his boss with a long face, "I can't beat him."
One second, two seconds, three seconds.
Huh? Why isn't it up yet?
The young man in the khaki casual suit noticed that his mercenaries had not yet arrived.
"Go for it!" he couldn't help but call out.
"Pfft!" Su Xiaomi, who had just finished wiping away her tears, couldn't help but laugh out loud. She couldn't hold it in any longer when she saw Sang Pu Jie's face almost squished together.
Sang Pu Jie couldn't stand the atmosphere any longer, so he rushed towards Mu Fan.
However, during the rush, he subtly conveyed his meaning to Mu Fan with a legendary glance.
"Don't really hit me, just send me flying. Make your moves more flashy."
Mu Fan actually understood Sang Pu Jie's meaning, so he took a deep breath, kicked out with his right leg, and kicked straight into the sky with overwhelming domineering power, his whole body standing still in a vertical line.
He took a large stride, slammed one foot into the ground, and as his foot struck the ground, the stone slabs visibly cracked, revealing a spiderweb pattern. He then spun and flew into the air.
A weaker version of Crescent Wind Remnant.
Mu Fan used the Fighting Technique he had seen on the PO Battle Network, but he only exerted one-tenth or even less of his power.
Sang Pu Jie's fist was already coming. He saw Mu Fan's powerful move and was terrified, but he was already flying in mid-air and could not change his position.
Mu Fan blinked slightly, Sang Pu Jie felt a sense of relief.
The two exchanged blows.
Neither Su Xiaomi nor the young man saw that when Mu Fan's shoe was about to kick Sang Pu Jie's fist, his leg slightly retracted, by less than a centimeter. But this distance of less than a centimeter prevented Sang Pu Jie's fist from being broken by Mu Fan's leg wind.
In the instant when no one was paying attention, Mu Fan suddenly exerted his strength, and Sang Pu Jie was sent flying backward at an even faster speed than when he came, crashing to the ground and then remaining motionless.
Boom! Mu Fan's move was astonishing. In Su Xiaomi's and the young man's eyes, he Sang Pu Jie flying with a single kick, and then landed with a dent in his foot. Sang Pu Jie wasn't facing a person; he was facing a monster in human skin!
The young man was dumbfounded. Had he really provoked such a ruthless person by simply bullying a young girl?
At that moment, sirens blared, and a hovercraft came to a sudden stop. A group of heavily armed police officers got out and raised their weapons, aiming at Mu Fan and his group.
The young man's face relaxed. He chuckled; he was already on the police station's protection list.
"Don't move!"
Mu Fan and Su Xiaomi stopped what they were doing.
How did things suddenly turn out like this? We were the ones who called the police, so why are guns now pointed at us?
When they saw the faint smile on the man's face, the two realized that this was probably why he had been so confident just now.
"I'm afraid this matter isn't going to end well." The man smiled and greeted one of the men who got out of the police car; the man was clearly the leader of the group of police officers.
He saw the disbelief in the eyes of the two people opposite him, and at that moment the young man felt an unusual sense of pleasure. He loved seeing people feel so lonely and helpless.
"I'm afraid this matter is really not going to end well." Just then, a calm male voice rang out. Although it was calm, everyone present could hear the coldness in the voice.
Mu Fan, Su Xiaomi, the young man, and the police officers all turned around to look.
Wearing a sky-blue wool coat with antique patterns embroidered in silver thread on the chest, the man looked to be in his late twenties. His thin lips were slightly pursed, and his Azure Blue eyes were calm as he stared directly at the crowd.
This is the person who just spoke.
"Qi Longxiang!" Su Xiaomi suddenly exclaimed in surprise.
The officer in charge, his eyes filled with impatience, said sternly, "Police are conducting an investigation. Unrelated personnel, please leave."
The man tilted his head slightly, first giving Su Xiaomi a reassuring look, then glanced at the police officer and slowly said, "Let's talk in private."
His tone was calm, but the authority in his words was undeniable.
This is someone in a high position! The officer could tell at a glance that the man's expression showed that he didn't care about anyone present at all.
The police officer didn't dare to touch it; the pattern on the man's chest looked exactly like the crest of an ancient noble family.
Mu Fan didn't notice that Su Xiaomi behind him had completely relaxed. He only saw that the police officer had only heard a few words when sweat immediately appeared on his face. Then he nodded and bowed repeatedly, and finally patted his chest.
Just over ten seconds later, the officer returned with a menacing look, beckoning and ordering, "Cuff this kid and drag him back!" The other officers hesitated for three seconds before swarming forward.
The bewildered young man was pinned to the ground by a group of police officers. Just as he was about to cry out, a gag was stuffed into his mouth. He shook his head angrily, trying to speak, but as the officer walked over, he was slapped hard across the face.
Blood was flowing from the corner of his mouth, and he looked at his own people with a blank expression in his eyes.
What's wrong?
The officer cursed inwardly, "Nobody can help you this time. The General Staff of the Star River Federation Military Command just showed me their credentials! Colonel."
The rank itself isn't anything special, but the department on that badge is terrifying. The Military Headquarters— the General Staff Department! This is a high-ranking military official from the Capital Star!
You're saying a colonel isn't a big shot? I'm not blind. A twenty-seven or twenty-eight-year-old man showing this badge, his background must be incredibly powerful! Damn it, you can play by yourself. Even your uncle can't save you now. That colonel from the General Staff said that the military will issue a notice to the highest police leader on Zicui Star soon.
Go play by yourself, I don't care anymore.
After another hard kick, a group of police officers dragged the struggling young man into the police car, beating and kicking him. Then, the officer and the man who had just spoken said goodbye with smiles on their faces, and the police car quickly disappeared.
"Qi Longxiang! Why are you only calling now? It's too late! I told you I'd tell my aunt when I got back that I came all this way and you left me with a shabby inn, and now I almost got robbed! How miserable I am! If it weren't for Black Fan Grandmaster's intervention, I would have... Waaaaah~" Before Mu Fan could react, he heard Su Xiaomi beside him angrily yelling at the man, and then she pretended to cry, looking all wronged.
The man tilted his head, helplessly spread his hands, and walked towards the two of them.
Then, ignoring Su Xiaomi who was acting like an angry little lion, he gave Mu Fan a friendly smile, bowed slightly, and said in a gentle voice, "My name is Qi Longxiang. Thank you for protecting my sister, brother."
Seeing the extraordinary man in front of him extend his right hand with a sincere expression, Mu Fan also extended his palm, and the two hands clasped together.
Mu Fan grinned. "Black Fan, don't mention it, it was nothing."
Fate can be so coincidental sometimes.
When two unsuspecting people shake hands, neither knows what important role the other person will play in their life.
