The Mad Plan (2)
(Happy Mid-Autumn Festival everyone! I have to add an extra chapter today.)
Ivan is piloting his beloved Chase Speed s mech, flying towards the Star-borne Ship.
The Speedster mech, plundered from the territory of the Gador Empire, was modified by a professional mech repairman at his expense. With an engine that could reach the power of a 7.5 generation when running at full speed, and its unique weapon— the Sixteen Wind Chimes, he excitedly renamed the mech "Chase Speed s". The flat but flamboyant "S" on the mech's chest represented his utmost satisfaction and high expectations for the mech!
I have been following our leader Maxi for eight years now, ever since I was a child, as we have wandered the universe together.
If it weren't for my efficiency and ability to do things to my satisfaction, I probably wouldn't have been asked to take the lead.
As the Star-borne Ship drew ever closer, Ivan smiled broadly. With the powerful support of the Icebreaker Warship behind him, an ordinary smuggling ship would never dare to make a single misstep.
"I am the captain of this starship. I see you are piloting the mech, so the door to our hangar number two has been opened separately for you. The vice-captain and I are waiting for you here."
A communication signal suddenly appeared, and Ivan saw a small door open on the side of the deck not far in front of him.
No one came out, that's normal.
Are you suggesting we let these smugglers come out wearing spacesuits?
It's funny to think about.
Without any hesitation, Ivan piloted the 13-meter-tall Chase Speed s mech down onto the deck.
The high-pressure jet engine on the back of the mech retracted, leaving only one auxiliary engine for walking propulsion.
The sixteen wind chimes attached to the mecha's right arm trembled slightly and floated up, dancing around the right arm.
This is a unique weapon from the Gador Empire, and it's something he's always boasted about.
The door to the second cabin was pitch black, and Ivan walked right in.
Um?
Just the two of them?
Once the outer door is closed and the air has filled the space, the second isolation door is slowly lifted.
Ivan spotted the two men in military uniforms standing in front of him at a glance.
No wonder the boss said the captain was an idiot; how could someone with such a fawning face be a soldier?
These smugglers are really something. The kid next to me looks no more than seventeen or eighteen, maybe three or four years younger than me, and he's already a captain.
She's probably a relative of this leader; she really dares to dress like that.
If it were me, wouldn't I at least need to get a lieutenant colonel to play with?
Hahaha!
I'm so happy.
This is a good idea. I'll go back and tell the boss about it.
Ivan was distracted for a moment.
"Ahem, sir, what are your plans? I only hope you can spare my life and that of my crew. Please put in a good word for me later. I have other ways to express my gratitude."
Ivan's eyes lit up; this guy's got it!
but...
You think you can go back alive? How incredibly foolish.
The boss has already launched electromagnetic shielding; it's obvious he's not giving you a chance to go back.
Sigh, but we still have to make some money off it.
"You're smart enough to know your place. I'll know how to behave later. You're the captain of this ship. Is this guy next to you a relative? You smugglers are really low-class. You don't even have a hair on your chin and you dare to pretend to be a lieutenant?"
Ivan felt a surge of secret pleasure as he watched Lin Hao bowing and scraping before his mecha.
Seeing someone who was unaware that he was about to die and kept bowing and showing goodwill gave him a strange sense of pleasure.
The thrill of having someone else's life and death in your hands.
He strives to get closer to the boss, hoping to become a minor leader himself, at which point he will be content for life.
So Ivan tried to lower his voice to sound more mature.
"Are you two the only ones in charge of this ship?"
"Yes, yes, it's just me and my nephew. I've made the rest of them stay put in the transport compartment."
That nephew looks like a complete idiot; his face is still expressionless. They really are relatives; even a fool could become the first mate.
As for Lin Hao, who was speaking, there were video screenshots of him in the Chase Speed s mech. Ivan checked them and had no doubts.
"Alright, you two can squeeze into this Escape Pod. Hurry up and get in, I need to take you back to see the boss first."
"Ivan said impatiently."
Lin Hao deliberately put on a troubled expression, but after Ivan made a show of force with the mecha, he immediately dragged Mu Fan over slowly.
Watching the uncle and nephew's actions, Ivan sneered and pressed the eject button for the Escape Pod.
A cylindrical pod popped out from below his chest. Chase Speed s pulled the Escape Pod out and placed it at his feet, waving his fingers impatiently.
He gestured for Mu Fan and the other person to go inside as soon as possible.
The two lowered their heads, and their eyes met unintentionally.
Now, a hint of tension finally appeared on Lin Hao's face, while Mu Fan's eyes began to shine.
Lin Hao, wearing the rank of major, raised his head and gave the mecha's head a fawning smile again before obediently walking inside first.
Mu Fan followed behind, looking rather dull.
Just as I was about to step into the Escape Pod, I suddenly lost my footing and fell heavily to the ground.
"Idiot."
Ivan looked at the silly boy and was too lazy to even comment.
"Hurry up, you son of a bitch, or I'll kill you."
"Sir, you're easy to talk to. My nephew dropped his watch, and he went to pick it up and brought it in."
Lin Hao pointed to the feet of Chase Speed s. Mu Fan was stumbling and getting up to walk over, and there was indeed a silver watch on the ground.
"I'm really fed up. Tell your stupid nephew to hurry up. If I count to ten and he doesn't come back... then I'm sorry."
Thump!
A wind chime suddenly fell heavily to the floor, creating a slight dent in the metal surface.
Seeing the boy startled by the sudden sound of the wind chimes, Ivan laughed heartily, "Timer starts, 1..."
The wristwatch was skillfully tossed by Mu Fan onto the inside of the mecha's feet.
This area can be considered a blind spot for the mechs.
In order to completely play dumb, Mu Fan took five seconds to cover a distance that should have taken less than half a second.
As Mu Fan stepped into the shadow beneath the mecha, the wooden look in his eyes finally disappeared, replaced by a sharp, piercing light!
"7, 8..."
It looked like he was about to kill someone; a bloodthirsty killing intent flashed across Ivan's face.
Which space pirate doesn't have at least a dozen lives on their hands?!
Mu Fan bent down and finally grasped the watch with his right hand, then clasped it onto his left wrist.
At that moment, his legs unleashed tremendous power.
Through Tracy's sniper scope, the stark contrast between Mu Fan's stillness and movement made her heart skip a beat.
What is he going to do?!
With one step, Mu Fan stepped onto the armor at the knee of the mecha, and then used the momentum to lift himself up again.
With rapid alternation of hands, they reached the entrance to the rear hatch of the mech almost instantly.
"9. Hehe, kid, you can only blame yourself for not valuing your life enough."
With a wave of Ivan hand, the wind chime on the ground was attracted back by the magnetic field. The next second, he prepared to smash the idiot's head.
Wait... where is everyone?
At this moment, Ivan was looking down, suddenly realized that he could no longer see anyone below!
A crisp knocking sound suddenly came from the 2-meter-high mecha shell behind him.
"Bite."
Mu Fan attached the wristwatch to the Palm Print Identifier on the rear door.
An invisible electrical wave flashed by.
Suddenly, Ivan in the cockpit heard a buzzing sound, and then his mech...
It has stopped running!
All the lights went out, and the cockpit was pitch black.
Mu Fan, perched on the rear hatch, heard a dark voice in his ear. "Done."
A smile appeared on his lips.
His time has just begun!
