When you have a purpose to do something, the night is the best cover.

The same principle applies to these people, and equally to Mu Fan. The people who evacuated the hall in shifts and batches had done it flawlessly, if it weren't for the 360-degree surveillance that detected their unintentional left-hand movements.

It can even be synchronized in real life!

The bizarre martial arts technique he had learned from the Fighter had appeared naturally the instant the thought had crossed his mind. It was exactly the same as in the PO Battle Network, and the realism was even more pronounced; he could clearly feel that the Dark Breath's effects in reality far surpassed those in the virtual world. Just what kind of being was the Fighter?!

The wind created by the changing air currents, the scents carried by the air currents, the calm and tranquil feeling of stepping on the ground, and the inexplicable freedom of being like a fish in water in the night—all these things instantly deepened Mu Fan's understanding of this martial art. Calling it a martial art is not quite accurate; it's more like a technique that transcends a single martial art.

Mu Fan now felt that his mental state had been comprehensively improved. His vision was already unaffected in the dark, and now, with the addition of his expanding mental senses, he felt like he was the Overmind of the night.

Just as the figure darted past two trees and sped across a thicket, the security personnel on either side, turning their heads in less than half a second, breached their perimeter. Only the whistling wind rustled the leaves. These people were completely unaware that a dark figure was rapidly passing through the villa; it was just a dinner party, what could be so unusual?

Mu Fan, reminded by Hei, needed to avoid any possibility of being discovered. He had no way of knowing which of them were his own people and which were spies from other forces.

Whenever he runs in the dark, Mu Fan always feels particularly at ease. This is the environment he grew up in, and this is the hunting activity he has been engaged in every day for his survival.

If viewed from high above, one would see a disordered and eerie black line spreading outwards from the villa, with the beginning of the line resembling the ghostly and almost silent Mu Fan.

A dark cloud obscured the satellite's refracted light, and Black suddenly reminded me in my ear, "This is the third warning line. The nine surveillance cameras in this area are rotating rhythmically. I've slightly adjusted them; there's a one-second blind spot. Now, follow my instructions!"

"Okay!" Without speaking, the nasal sound came directly into the earpiece, the rustling wind masking everything.

"Sprint at full speed, five steps!"

"Pounce!" Mu Fan suddenly jumped, showing his complete trust in Hei.

As he leaped across the gap between the two bushes in an arc, Mu Fan noticed out of the corner of his eye an extremely inconspicuous green dot hidden on the other side of the grass, with light faintly visible coming through the gap.

"Move laterally to behind the Chinese Parasol Tree to your right front within half a second! You can make a slight sound!"

With a quick glance, he estimated the distance to be around nine to ten meters. Gritting his teeth, he stomped his right leg hard on the ground, his entire body springing up like a spring to the left onto a thick, towering tree. He compressed his legs to their limit, and with a snap, several cracks appeared on the tree trunk. Mu Fan transformed into a black afterimage and swept across that distance.

"Take a five-second break. Next is the fourth security line of the villa. The group has all left the villa according to the surveillance. There are signs of a crowd gathering three kilometers to the southeast. There is a Gedio Bar there. According to the statistics in the last 60 minutes, 13 people from the villa have entered there." The black infinite vision directly outlined a shape in Mu Fan's mind.

"Go forward! The woods below are a blind spot for surveillance cameras, estimated to be 30 meters deep, and there's a possibility of traps. You'll have to pass through on your own! A patrol team will be passing by in 6 seconds ahead, be careful." Hei gave a warning in an area without surveillance cameras.

"Hmm." He was more confident here.

With a quick turn, he slipped out from behind the tree, then pushed off with his feet. As his senses expanded under the amplified Dark Breath, Mu Fan vaguely sensed a threat lurking beneath the seemingly dark forest ahead.

A deep red glint flashed in his eyes— Blood-colored Vision!

Night vision has been enhanced to the extreme—an ability that even Hei was completely unaware of. Hei could only discern the anomaly in Mu Fan through outward appearances, but he couldn't know the specific abilities that this anomaly brought about.

The darkness faded from sight, revealing a thick layer of fallen leaves beneath the trees. No, in the area we passed through, only the outermost edge of the manor's woods had this thick layer of leaves.

It hasn't been cleaned for years? Impossible.

The enhanced mental strength amplified by the Dark Breath allowed Mu Fan to quickly recall details he had almost overlooked in his mind during his rapid thinking.

A mound? A protrusion? One, three, six...

There's something going on at the base of the trees!

With a slight shift in his eyes, Mu Fan's lips curled into a smile.

Then let's run in the trees!

"Drink! "Mu Fan took three steps in one, leaped forward, gathered power in his legs, and then shot out like a cannonball, heading straight for a relatively thick old tree on the outer edge.

With alternating steps of both legs and nimble hands grasping the protruding or hidden branches of the trees, the person appeared directly in the treetop within just two seconds.

Holding onto the thick branch with his right hand, Mu Fan knelt on one knee between the branches, his eyes scanning downwards, and discovered a dense array of yellowish-brown, matte metallic bodies covered with terrifying spikes.

Where did all those leaves come from? It's clearly some unknown weapon hidden among the dense foliage!

If there were a scene scan, Hei could clearly tell Mu Fan that this was Federation weapon, Poison Caltrop Ejection Spike Mine, which, upon exploding, was strong enough to pierce a 20mm thick steel plate.

As expected of a large family, their defensive measures were interconnected. Only when he was in the treetop did Mu Fan feel the vague sense of threat become clearer and larger, but his intuition told him that he was safe.

The Poison Caltrop Ejection Spike Mine with a five-meter radius tracking capability. Mu Fan was a full seven meters above the ground! His instincts allowed him to perfectly avoid this terrifying lightning array.

Light and agile like a mountain ape, Mu Fan leaped swiftly through the trees. His movements, perfectly concealed by the night, were seamless. The intertwined branches and leaves in the canopy swayed naturally in the breeze.

With Blood-colored Vision and Dark Breath, Mu Fan's jungle instincts were amplified to an extreme; this was his home turf.

Black was faithfully keeping time in his ear. "3 seconds, 4 seconds, 5 seconds..."

This is the last tree. Just step on it and cross it.

"6 seconds!" Mu Fan's legs were already charging up after the jump, but as soon as Hei finished speaking, Mu Fan disappeared behind the last tree.

"D District reached, safe." A team of heavily armed personnel appeared beside the woods in a single-terrain vehicle, their searchlights routinely scanning up, down, left, and right.

"Captain, there's no way there's anyone here. If you go in, you'll die without even knowing how you died."

"Enough talk, this is our livelihood. Let's go!"

The convoy disappeared into the night and drove forward along the mountain road.

Mu Fan hung from behind the tree with one arm, his whole body pressed tightly against the trunk, his right hand gripping a hole in the tree that was only four fingers wide, hanging there silently.

Once he confirmed that there was no more sound coming from the surroundings, Mu Fan exerted force with one arm and was thrown down from a height of six or seven meters, leaping across the mountain path. Mu Fan turned and landed lightly, sinking into the thick grass.

"Perfect!" Hei rarely praised, having just failed to see Mu Fan's figure at all through the patrol team's recorder.

Mu Fan's cheek twitched slightly. "After all, you're the host!"

"Never mind what I said..." Hei was choked by Mu Fan.

After a full three seconds, Hei continued in a sullen voice, "We've already left the manor. The security standards at Little Fatty's house are very high; compared to other places in this city, it's second highest."

"What's number one?"

"Military outpost!"

Mu Fan rolled his eyes, his teeth chattering as he asked, "What's next?"

"Run at full speed! There are already more than fifteen people there! And several possible groups of people coming from nearby have suddenly disappeared from the surveillance footage." Black's voice suddenly quickened, clearly indicating that the timing Lord Black had predicted had changed.

"Good!"

With a few quick undulations, Mu Fan's figure disappeared, leaving only the lush sea of grass swaying in the wind on the gentle hillside.
