Wen Shuyu and Bo Ting were waiting at the airport entrance early in the morning.
Wen Shuyu stood at the door, holding Snowball and looking on expectantly. Snowball in her arms was itching to jump off the ground; if she hadn't been holding it so tightly, it would have jumped off long ago.
"Alright, we're still a while away, stop looking." Bo Ting at her with a headache as she kept looking ahead.
Wen Shuyu glanced at him. "I was just thinking that if they surprised us, I deliberately said the time would be a little later."
Bo Ting posed a thought-provoking question, "Do you think our son would do such a thing?"
Wen Shuyu paused for a moment, then stubbornly said, "Isn't there still Chengcheng?"
Bo Ting was speechless. He pulled her back to the car first, and he had already seen entertainment reporters appear.
As soon as they got in the car, Bo Ting said to Wen Shuyu, "Send them a message: don't come out through the main gate."
Wen Shuyu nodded. She naturally knew this; she had just seen it too—the main gate would definitely be blocked.
Gu Wancheng and her two companions sat on the return flight, looking out the window at the familiar buildings, they said in a lighthearted tone, "We're almost there."
Upon hearing his words, Chaochao immediately looked up, "Hey! Are we going home?"
Gu Wancheng smiled and pinched his cheek. "Oh, right, you'll be able to see Suisui soon. Are you excited?"
Chaochao exclaimed loudly, "Happy!"
"Grandpa and Grandma came to pick us up too."
Chaochao's eyes widened. "Really? Where is it?"
Gu Wancheng said, "You'll see him at the airport soon."
How much longer until we get there?
"Almost there, almost there."
The plane had just landed and hadn't even come to a complete stop when Chaochao excitedly started looking out the window.
As soon as the cabin doors opened, he eagerly pulled Gu Wancheng towards the exit, saying, "Dad, let's go, let's go!"
Gu Wancheng saw the message from Wen Shuyu, pulled Chaochao back, told Jian Yue and the Jian Yue, and left from another place.
As he walked out of the airport, he saw a car parked there, with Wen Shuyu and Bo Ting standing beside it. Snowball, which was at her feet, excitedly ran towards him.
Gu Wancheng picked up Snowball in one scoop, and the little slut squirmed and wriggled in his arms.
Bo Yizhou said, "Mom and Dad, we're back."
Wen Shuyu nodded perfunctorily and looked at Gu Wancheng, "Yes, did Chengcheng have fun?"
"I had a lot of fun, thank you, Mom," Gu Wancheng said with a smile.
"Grandma, it's me too!"
Wen Shuyu bent down and smiled, "Of course Grandma wouldn't forget her little darling. Did Chaochao have fun?"
"I'm happy, but I miss you all so much!"
"Really? I saw Chaochao having so much fun, I thought you had forgotten about your grandparents."
Chaochao immediately shook her head, "No, I miss Grandma so much."
Before Wen Shuyu could say anything, Bo Ting said, "Come on, let's get in the car first."
They went back to the old house first, not their home in River Moon Bay.
When they arrived at the old house, Bo Ting picked up Chaochao and put Snowball in his arms.
The heavy weight of the Snowball caused Chaochao to take a step back, lose her balance, and fall flat on her backside.
Gu Wancheng laughed mercilessly when she saw it, and Chaochao blushed and covered his face with Snowball.
"Hahaha, get up! How long are you planning to sit on the ground? Hahaha!"
Gu Wancheng leaned closer to see if he was crying.
Chaochao moved the Snowball aside, covered her face, stood up, turned around and walked away. She had only taken one step when she heard Gu Wancheng's laughter again.
Clenching her fists, she turned and glared at him, shouting, "Stop laughing!"
Gu Wan immediately shut her mouth and strode over to his side.
Chaochao kept her head down and didn't say a word, just kept walking forward.
As soon as he entered, Butler Deng came up with a smile, "Good afternoon, young master."
Chaochao responded and continued walking forward. Butler Deng looked puzzled, but greeted Gu Wancheng again when he saw her.
" Chaochao just tripped and fell," Gu Wancheng said, noticing that Butler Deng's expression immediately turned serious, so he quickly added, "But he's alright, he's perfectly fine."
Butler Deng relaxed, nodded, and turned to prepare tea for them.
Gu Wancheng and the others sat on the sofa, tacitly avoiding disturbing Chaochao.
Wen Shuyu, holding Snowball, said, " Chengcheng, what do you want to eat later? I'll have them prepare it."
"Anything is fine, I'm not picky about food," Gu Wancheng said.
Wen Shuyu smiled and nodded, then said to Butler Deng, "Just do it as usual, tell them to hurry up."
Butler Deng smiled and said, "Yes, madam."
Upstairs, after returning to her room, Chaochao called Suisui.
The phone rang twice before being hung up. Chaochao stared wide-eyed, her face full of disbelief. She made another call, and it was hung up again.
Chaochao's eyes welled up with tears, and she dialed again, this time the call was answered.
A pleasant female voice rang out, "Who are you?"
Chaochao instantly became alert, and the plot she had seen on TV flashed through her mind.
He asked cautiously, "And who are you? Where is Suisui?"
Thinking about what would happen if Suisui were kidnapped and looked pitiful, Chaochao sniffed.
"I am Suisui's mother."
Why!
Chaochao vigorously wiped her face. Suisui hadn't been kidnapped! Thank goodness!
Remembering that she said she was Suisui's mother, Chaochao started to get nervous again. "Hello, Mom, I'm Suisui's best friend."
Lin Wanjun: "... Call me Auntie."
"Hello Auntie, I'm Suisui's best friend."
"Okay, I understand. Is there anything else?"
"Auntie, where is Suisui?"
"Here I am. Okay, the kids should take their afternoon nap." After saying that, Lin Wanjun hung up the phone, and the door behind her opened, with Suisui walking in.
Lin Wanjun looked up. "Someone just called. He said he's your best friend."
Her Suisui eyelashes trembled slightly. "He's talking nonsense."
Lin Wanjun didn't say much; she knew her own child well. "Mom is very happy."
"Okay, it's time to take your medicine." Suisui placed a glass of warm water next to her, along with a few pills.
Lin Wanjun picked up a white pill, looked at it, and gave a slight smirk, "I'm not sick."
As soon as he finished speaking, he put the pill in his mouth.
Suisui looked up at her, sunlight streaming through the window and falling on her.
He didn't understand. His mother said she wasn't sick, but she took the medicine voluntarily; no one forced her.
After taking the medicine, Lin Wanjun looked down at Suisui. Although he was expressionless, as his mother, Lin Wanjun could still see the doubt in his eyes.
Lin Wanjun didn't intend to answer him, but simply smiled and said, "You should learn diligently from your uncle; the Jiang Group is yours."
He nodded Suisui, and Lin Wanjun reached out and patted his head. "Alright, you should go back now. Remember to call your good friend."
After Suisui picked up her phone and turned to leave.
I had just closed the door and taken a few steps when I heard a crisp sound behind me—the sound of a cup shattering on the floor.
Suisui seemed not to hear and continued walking straight ahead.
