Gu Wancheng set her alarm the night before and went to bed very early.
The next day, the alarm clock rang on time. Gu Wancheng groggily reached out a hand to turn it off. The clock was still warm, so Bo Yizhou must have just gotten up.
After washing up, Bo Yizhou came in from outside and his eyes widened in surprise for a moment when he saw him come out of the bathroom.
Why are you up so early today? Why didn't you sleep a little longer?
Gu Wancheng walked over and hugged him tightly. "I'm going to take Chaochao to school."
Bo Yizhou smoothed his back and said softly, "I'll take it. You can sleep a little longer."
Gu Wancheng shook her head. "No, you and Chaochao aren't going that way. I'll go. I don't have anything urgent to do."
Seeing that Bo Yizhou was about to speak, Gu Wancheng raised her hand to cover his mouth and said clearly, "I'll go."
After Bo Yizhou nodded, Gu Wancheng let go of his hand and patted him on the chest. "Okay, go take a shower."
Bo Yizhou lowered his head and touched his lips, then walked past him toward the bathroom.
Gu Wancheng's lips curled up slightly. After changing her clothes, she went to Chaochao's room.
Chaochao has finished washing up and is getting dressed.
Hearing the voice, Chaochao turned around in confusion, "Dad?"
Gu Wancheng closed the door. "I came to see if you were up."
"You don't need to come see me; I can come see you next time."
Gu Wancheng's lips twitched. Wasn't that just implying that he got up late? He'd even learned to be two-faced.
She took two steps forward, ruffled his neatly combed hair, and then looked him up and down.
Chaochao's behavior surprised him. Today, Chaochao was unusually calm. She just looked up at him, sighed, and seemed to say, "Whatever makes you happy."
Gu Wancheng was completely confused and asked, "What's wrong?"
Chaochao sighed again and shook her head. "You don't understand."
Gu Wancheng: Now you're pretending to be profound?
Gu Wancheng laughed, exasperated. "Fine, I'll understand when I'm younger."
Now it was Chaochao's turn to be confused. She gave him a strange look and continued getting dressed.
Seeing how much effort he was putting in, Gu Wancheng couldn't bear to watch and squatted down to help him.
After finally getting dressed, Chaochao visibly showed a relieved expression.
"Let's go have breakfast."
Okay.
After finishing breakfast, Gu Wancheng reminded him, "Did you forget anything?"
"No, I brought them all."
In the entryway, Gu Wancheng waved to Bo Yizhou, "Bye-bye, I'm taking Chaochao to school."
"Okay." Bo Yizhou and kissed Chaochao right in front of her.
Gu Wancheng's first reaction was to bend down and turn Chaochao around.
Chaochao:?
Then, looking at Bo Yizhou, she tiptoed slightly and touched his lips to his, "Goodbye."
Pulling Chaochao, who was still in shock, forward, he said, "Hurry up, don't stand there."
Chaochao puffed out her cheeks, turned around and waved to Bo Yi, "Goodbye, Father, I'm going to school."
Bo Yizhou nodded slightly and raised his hand to shake it.
Upon arriving at school, Gu Wancheng watched Chaochao enter the school. Instead of going home, she went to the square for a stroll, mainly wanting to eat some snacks and milk tea.
Food from outside has a unique flavor, and it's perfectly fine to indulge in some high-tech and daring activities every now and then.
It was still too early, so Gu Wancheng randomly picked a burger joint and ordered a burger.
He deliberately didn't eat much this morning, just so he could eat something else outside.
After strolling around until ten o'clock, Gu Wancheng packed up a bunch of delicious food and called her driver to pick her up.
The driver arrived quickly, and after getting in the car, Gu Wancheng said, "To the company."
"OK."
Gu Wancheng planned to visit Bo Yizhou at his company and share some delicious food with him.
The security guards and receptionists all recognized him, so he had no trouble getting through.
As I passed by an office, I happened to see someone coming out.
It was a young man who was completely shocked when he saw him. He immediately bowed at a ninety-degree angle with a loud thud.
Good morning, boss lady!
Gu Wancheng: "..."
Oh no, my toes are starting to work again.
Gu Wancheng gave an awkward laugh, responded, and then quickly ran towards the elevator, closing the door behind her and letting out a sigh of relief.

Stepping out of the elevator, Gu Wancheng immediately ran to the office door, pushed it open, and said, "Hi, I'm here."
Bo Yizhou looked up, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. Seeing him come in with bags and packages, he stood up and strode over to take the bags from his hands.
"Hmm, why did you buy so much stuff?"
Bo Yizhou placed the bags on the table next to him, Gu Wancheng took out a few of them. "I came to share these with you. These are the delicacies I carefully selected. Are you busy right now?"
"Not busy."
Gu Wancheng took out a cup of milk tea, inserted a straw, and held it to his lips. "Then you have to try these, and this one too, milk tea. You don't like it too sweet, so I only ordered three-tenths sugar. Try a sip and see how it is."
Bo Yizhou took two sips. "Mmm, it's delicious." Then, after taking the milk tea, he pushed Gu Wancheng to sit down on the sofa. "Sit down first, aren't you tired of standing?"
Gu Wancheng smiled broadly, "Tired? I haven't exercised."
Bo Yizhou saw the open box in front of him, which contained five-colored small dumplings. He picked one up with a stick and held it to Gu Wancheng's lips.
Gu Wancheng looked at him and shook her head, "I've already eaten."
Bo Yizhou didn't pull his hand back. "You eat first."
Gu Wancheng paused for a moment, then took a bite out of the meatball. "Okay, I've eaten it. The rest are yours."
Bo Yizhou gave a soft "Mmm," and said, "Shall we go home together tonight? I'm not working overtime today."
Without hesitation, Gu Wancheng nodded and smiled, "Okay, we can go pick up Chaochao together."
Bo Yizhou ate everything Gu Wancheng brought, giving it high praise.
Gu Wancheng leaned back on the sofa and looked at him. From Bo Yizhou's expression, she could tell that he didn't really like some of the food, but he still gave it a good review.
After setting aside the dishes that Bo Yizhou didn't like, I tidied up the rest and covered them up. "Okay, we can eat these later."
Bo Yizhou kissed his forehead. "Okay, you play first. If you get tired, go rest in the lounge. I'm going to get busy."
"Okay." Gu Wancheng took out his personal computer and started playing the Goose Garden version of Plants vs. Zombies.
She occasionally ate a bite of what Bo Yizhou didn't particularly like. After finishing, Gu Wancheng glanced at the time and asked, "What do you want to eat for lunch?"
Bo Yizhou turned to look at him, "Anything is fine."
"Let me think about it."
Bo Yizhou noticed the tiredness on his face and said, "Okay, we can have lunch a little later today. You can take a nap and think about it later."
Gu Wancheng got up and pulled Bo Yizhou up, leading him into the lounge. "Alright, you should rest too. Did you get any rest yesterday?"
"Have."
"You must rest at noon."
With a very slight opening and closing sound, the door to the lounge was gently shut, and the sound disappeared.
