At 10:00 AM in Hua Country, at Yanhua Airport, a plane slowly descended from the sky.

The area was noisy, with a crowd gathered at the exit, holding up support items for a certain celebrity. Excited girls were screaming wildly, but after a while, the noise gradually subsided, as if they had been stopped.

All of this had nothing to do with Suisui and Lin Ting, who had just come out of the VIP channel.

At the exit, the driver was already waiting there. Seeing them approach, he quickly opened the car door.

"Let's go to River Moon Bay." Lin Ting said, glancing at Suisui as soon as he sat down.

"Okay." The driver replied, and the car slowly started moving, driving out of the airport.

"You're back! Aren't you happy? Give your uncle a smile." Lin Ting looked at her little expressionless boy and reached out to pinch his cheek.

Suisui glanced at him silently, not letting him let go, but instead giving him a slightly stiff smile.

"Alright, stop laughing. Luckily, our Suisui is good-looking, otherwise someone might be scared to death." Lin Ting's lips twitched as she watched him laugh.

After thinking about it, I realized it wasn't precise enough, so I added, "Don't laugh tonight, it might just scare someone to death randomly, except for psychopaths."

She laughed like a female ghost haunting someone's life, and she was a beautiful one at that.

Suisui irritably slapped his hand away; he was so annoying.

"Uncle didn't mean it." The more Suisui ignored him, the more excited he became, pulling Suisui into his arms and rubbing his head.

She ruffled her neatly tied ponytail into a mess, her face Suisui, and forcefully broke free from her uncle's embrace, who was prone to acting erratically from time to time.

"You're so annoying." Suisui untied her hair, took out a comb and carefully combed the strands, then retied it into a ponytail. After tying it up, she glanced at Lin Ting warily.

Lin Ting shrugged innocently. He was wrong; he would do it again next time.

"Mr. Lin, young master, we've arrived." The driver stopped the car and immediately got out and opened the door.

"Okay." Lin Ting nodded, got out of the car with Suisui, and the driver closed the door behind them. He got into the driver's seat and drove the car into the garage, where someone was already waiting to collect their luggage.

"Welcome, Mr. Lin, young master." Butler Yan and a group of servants stood at the door to greet them.

"Yes, is the room all tidied up?" Lin Ting nodded and said casually.

"It's all packed up." Butler Yan said with a serious expression.

" Old Yan, don't be so serious, or you'll age faster." Lin Ting looked at the old man who had been the housekeeper in his family since he was a child and sighed. He was another expressionless man.

The butler, whom Lin Ting addressed as Old Yan and Butler Yan was already sixty-seven years old, stiffened for a moment, then put on a stern face. "President Lin must really want to meet your etiquette teacher, right? I hope your former teacher still considers you a source of pride."

Sensing the underlying threat in his tone, Lin Ting a chill run down her spine. Nobody wanted to see that old man; they'd rather die than see him.

Lin Ting walked quickly forward, saying dismissively, "Okay, okay."

Butler Yan looked down at Suisui, who hadn't followed, and said gently, "Is the young master hungry? I've ordered someone to prepare your favorite dishes."

He nodded Suisui and said, "Thank you, Grandpa Butler."

Butler Yan smiled and said, "Young Master, you're too kind."

Lin Ting's figure had already disappeared when Suisui finally followed. Butler Yan silently followed behind, and the servants scattered in a swarm after they left.

After finishing her meal, Suisui returned to her room, pulled a book from the bookshelf, and sat by the window, reading quietly. Sunlight streamed onto the pages, and Suisui's fingers brushed against a ray of sunlight, feeling its warmth.

Suddenly, Suisui music started playing from the phone on the desk behind her. She glanced up at the window, got up, walked to the desk, and picked up the phone.

The caller ID was saved as ' River Moon Bay Kid'.

Suisui hesitated for a moment before answering.

As soon as the call connected, a cheerful voice came from the other end. " Suisui, are you home yet?"

"Arrive."

"Can I come to visit you?" Chaochao asked cautiously.

"Not today, but my uncle and I will visit you tomorrow," Suisui said expressionlessly, enunciating each word clearly.

"Okay." The voice on the other end suddenly dropped in tone.

Suisui frowned, truly unable to understand why this child was so persistent with him, refusing to turn back even after hitting a wall, determined to smash it to pieces.

But he didn't dislike him either. After thinking for a moment, he still said, "I'm very tired today."

As for what he was tired of, he didn't know.

Sure enough, upon hearing his words, Chaochao immediately frowned. Suisui was tired! She instantly perked up and said, "Then Suisui, get some rest. I'll come play with you again tomorrow."

So as not to disturb Suisui's rest, Chaochao reluctantly hung up the phone, holding her smartwatch and smiling foolishly.

Suisui stared at the disconnected phone, then sat back down by the window after a while.

Gu Wancheng struggled to get up to prepare for lunch. As she passed Chaochao's room, she noticed that the door was not closed. Gu Wancheng looked at Chaochao, who was grinning foolishly, and was filled with questions.

"What are you grinning about?" I couldn't help but ask as I went inside.

"I wasn't grinning like an idiot!" Upon hearing this, Chaochao immediately panicked. How could he be grinning like an idiot? Dad is so annoying.

Gu Wancheng lifted her eyelids slightly. "Oh, so what are you laughing at?"

Chaochao immediately beamed, shoving her smartwatch in front of his face and saying, "Look, Suisui answered the phone! He said he's coming over tomorrow."

Gu Wancheng looked down and saw a call log on her smartwatch, with the contact name 'Baby'.

Gu Wancheng:... Okay, okay, as expected of a little simp. By the way, does Suisui know about this Suisui in your contact list?

"That's great! Do you know what Suisui likes to eat?"

" Suisui likes to eat sweet things."

"How about we invite Suisui over for dinner tonight?"

"No," Chaochao said firmly.

Gu Wancheng was taken aback and asked in confusion, "Why?"

" Suisui is tired, she needs to rest and shouldn't run around."

Gu Wancheng:... You... never mind.

Gu Wancheng glanced at him silently, then turned and left; he was hungry.

"Dad, where are you going?" After Gu Wancheng had walked for a while, Chaochao immediately chased after her.

"Go eat, aren't you hungry?" Gu Wancheng's voice faded into the distance.

Chaochao rubbed her stomach, as if she was hungry.

In the evening, because Suisui had spoken to him a few words earlier that day, Chaochao, who had nothing else to do, wanted to call Suisui again.

He felt that Suisui must have agreed to be his best friend, otherwise why would Suisui ignore everyone else and only talk to him?

Suisui:... Did you know I replied to someone else?

I made a phone call, but Suisui didn't answer. Chaochao seemed a little down, so after a while, she made another call.

Just as she finished showering, she heard the phone ring. Suisui went over to check and, sure enough, it was him.

When the call connected, Chaochao said with a pitiful expression, "Why did it take you so long to answer? I called three times already."

Suisui: "..." speechless.

"I'm taking a shower."

"Oh, let's chat then." Chaochao's gloomy mood vanished, and she replied with a smile.

"What do you want to talk about?" Suisui's brow twitched; she wanted to refuse, but hesitated.

There was a sudden silence on the other end, and after a while Chaochao asked hesitantly.

" Suisui, are we the best of friends?"
