Xi Juan met Nan Qing seven or eight years before their reunion on Hello, World. As a handsome, easygoing transfer student, he quickly made friends but repeatedly sought out Nan Qing, poking his shoulder, tugging his hair, and taking his backpack to copy homework. Copying Nan Qing’s deliberately poor schoolwork got them both scolded 30.

Within seven years of entering the entertainment industry, Xi Juan swept the major Best Actor awards and became its youngest grand slam-winning actor. His casting as the second male lead in Journey through Luo caused excitement because of his prestige and box-office appeal. In the original storyline known to Nan Qing and anticipated by Bai Ruanruan, Xi Juan is the protagonist gong and Bai Ruanruan’s intended husband.
