In the corridor of the S.H.I.E.L.D.. underground research facility, Natasha and Lin Xiao hurried towards the laboratory one after the other. Fury said he had something big to announce, but Lin Xiao didn't care about that. What he cared about was Natasha's dark circles, which looked like she was wearing smoky makeup.

"Have you not slept for days?" Lin Xiao bought two cups of coffee from the vending machine and handed one to Natasha.

Natasha took a big gulp and said irritably, "Try being followed for three days in a row and not being able to find out who it is. I've tried to counter-track them seven or eight times, and each time I could smell a woman's perfume, but I just couldn't find the person. I checked all the surveillance footage and didn't find anything unusual."

Lin Xiao took a sip of coffee, said nothing, but his mouth was practically stretched to his ears in a wide grin that looked utterly irritating.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I wasn't laughing, really."

Natasha's blue eyes were fixed on Lin Xiao; his malicious smile meant he definitely knew something.

Natasha calmed down a bit, but still looked annoyed as she gulped down a mouthful of coffee, crushed the empty cup, and threw it into the trash can.

"I could smell it in the bathroom yesterday. The bathroom. Should I call the police or see a psychologist?"

Lin Xiao moved closer to her, glancing around warily.

"Although I don't know what happened, I have something good here that might be of great help to you."

After saying that, he pretended to touch his coat, but actually pulled out a neatly folded silver-gray Cloak from his System Space, unfolded it, and waved it in front of her. "This thing is high-tech, called Invisibility Cloak, Stark's latest technology. It's coated with a high-tech invisibility coating, colorless and odorless, and even X-rays can't penetrate it. Once you put it on, no one can see you. Wear it when you go out on business, and you'll be guaranteed peace of mind."

Natasha looked down at the Cloak, then looked up at Lin Xiao, her face full of suspicion.

Are you serious?

"Seriously, I only did this because I felt sorry for you. I don't show this to anyone else. So, do you want it?"

Lin Xiao pushed the Cloak forward, and Natasha was about to reach for it when Lin Xiao forcefully pulled it away, hiding Cloak behind his back, and said cheekily, "Feelings are feelings, but you know my personality. Giving things away for free isn't my style. I want something in return."

After saying that, he bent down, pointed to his lips, and grinned in a way that made him look incredibly smug.

Natasha rolled her eyes at him, her eyes showing disdain and something he couldn't quite place.

Natasha hesitated for a few seconds, then took half a step forward and quickly nodded her head onto his lips.

Lin Xiao was slightly taken aback; that soft, sweet sensation vanished in an instant, and he wanted more! Lin Xiao's voice was a little hoarse as he spoke:

"You can't fool people like that, keep going."

"You"

"We've already kissed, so what's one more kiss?"

Natasha rolled her eyes at him again, this time without saying a word, and directly leaned in to give him a heavy kiss on the lips. Just as she was about to pull away, Lin Xiao Lin Xiao pulled her tightly into a hug, his hands gripping her waist, and he lowered his head to kiss her back. Natasha's hands braced against his chest, pushing him away twice, but to no avail. On the third push, the force lessened, her fingers gripping the front of his shirt, her knuckles turning white...

Natasha and Lin Xiao's suppressed emotions were finally released at this moment. The two hugged each other tighter and tighter, their breathing becoming more and more rapid. Lin Xiao was no longer satisfied with just a kiss. His large hand brazenly reached into Natasha's arms. Coulson, who was dumbfounded, finally couldn't help but cough a few times. But the two seemed not to hear him and continued to do as they pleased. Coulson finally couldn't help but speak.

"That's enough, I've been waiting for five minutes."

Coulson stood to the side, looking utterly helpless, clutching a stack of documents in his hand, his expression as if he had swallowed a fly.

A deathly silence fell. After a few seconds, Natasha stepped out of Lin Xiao's arms, glanced at Coulson, and Coulson took a half step back, nearly dropping the documents in his hand.

"You two are too..." Coulson swallowed the rest of his sentence.

"Too much what?" Natasha straightened her collar.

"That's so inconsiderate of the occasion." Coulson took a deep breath and rearranged the documents. " Fury is in the lab, about to hand over equipment to Dr. Selvig. He asked me to check if you've arrived yet."

Lin Xiao straightened his clothes, took a few deep breaths, and glanced behind Coulson: "Boss, where's Fury?"

"He's already gone down. He had just entered the lab when I arrived."

" Selvig?" Lin Xiao moved Natasha aside and took two steps towards the end of the corridor. "That astrophysicist, Jane's mentor?"

Coulson nodded. "He didn't want to come at first; Fury personally went to New Mexico to persuade him to come."

Lin Xiao didn't reply. He took two steps toward the laboratory, then stopped.

He was familiar with this plot; it seemed like " The Avengers " was about to begin. At the end of " Thor," Dr. Selvig was controlled by Loki, Fury entrusted him with the Tesseract, leading to the scene where Loki guides the Chitauri to invade Earth...

Lin Xiao originally wanted to take a look at the Tesseract and Loki's face, then jokingly say, "Hello, Second Princess." But he held back. Loki's invasion of Earth was like a movie, lively and chaotic, allowing him to fish in troubled waters. If he could collect the Infinity Stones, wouldn't he be even more awesome than the Purple Sweet Potato Spirit? If he went in now, he wouldn't gain anything except a glimpse of the blue cube and attracting Loki's attention.

Lin Xiao stopped, smiled slightly, and said, "I think I won't go in."

"Not going in?" Natasha followed and asked, tilting her head.

"I'm not going in. Fury's handing over equipment, what am I, a roughneck, supposed to do?" Lin Xiao turned around and walked in the opposite direction, patting Coulson on the shoulder as he passed Coulson. "Boss, keep an eye on things. That old man Selvig doesn't seem very reliable."

Coulson was jolted by the slap, and bared his teeth. "How did you know?"

Lin Xiao smiled slightly, "It's just a gut feeling. Jian and I visited him, and that old man seemed a bit eccentric."

Coulson opened his mouth, but couldn't say anything. Lin Xiao had already taken several steps forward.

In the lab, Fury placed the silver briefcase on the table, unlocked it, and lifted the lid. Inside, a layer of black shock-absorbing cotton was laid out, and in the very center was a palm-sized blue crystal with sharp edges and a faint light slowly flowing within it.

Dr. Selvig adjusted his glasses and leaned closer. He stared at the crystal for a long time, his eyes slowly narrowing, the pupils behind his lenses glowing in the blue light.

"This is indeed a good product."

Fury stood beside him, his one eye fixed on Selvig's expression. "Doctor, I need you to study its energy mechanism and see if you can find a stable application."

"Energy mechanism," Selvig repeated, extending a finger and gently touching the crystal surface. The Tesseract glowed slightly, casting a blue pattern on the inner wall of the box before quickly dimming again.

"What's wrong?" Fury asked.

"It's nothing." Selvig took off his glasses, wiped them, and put them back on. "I need a laboratory, preferably underground, with a thick enough shielding."

"It's ready."

Selvig nodded, his gaze returning to the Tesseract, a slight, almost imperceptible curve appearing at the corners of his mouth. He probably didn't even notice it himself.

Lin Xiao peeked halfway out from around the corner of the corridor, peering into the lab through Doupao. Selvig was staring blankly at the Tesseract in the box, while Fury was flipping through documents beside him. He pulled his head back, took out his phone, and sent a message to Tony.

"Did you rummage through your dad's closet?"

Tony replied quickly, "It flipped. What happened?"

"It's nothing, just a reminder not to move the company to the sky anytime soon."

What are you planning to do now?

Lin Xiao put his phone back in his pocket and didn't reply. He leaned against the corridor wall, and the corners of his mouth slowly curved into a smile.

Natasha walked over from the other end of the corridor, carrying a folder that she had probably just taken from one of the offices. She walked up to Lin Xiao and glanced at him.

"What did you just say? Tony's closet?"

"It's nothing." Lin Xiao straightened up and held out his hand to her. "Here's the Cloak, remember to wear it. If you have trouble sleeping again, come find me, I'll massage your neck."

Natasha slapped the folder into his hand and walked past him.

You should save your massage for yourself.
