- Blue Star does not have one continuous planetary history. Ling Yi encounters parallel versions with different civilizations, power systems, disasters, and relationships to the wider universe 1454 1496 2007 3924.
- “Earth” is context-dependent. Ling Yi identifies one post-ascension destination as the Blue Star he previously left, but elsewhere distinguishes his original world from Blue Star. Ling Shuang also describes an enemy from a parallel world called Earth 2007 3259 5073.
- Blue Star Country is unrelated to the planet. The country takes its name from its ornamental Blue Star Stone deposits 4890.
Power Progression
The developments below belong to separate versions of Blue Star, not a single cultivation ladder.
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Explosive technological development | 915 | In the Insect Tribe world's history, breakthroughs across physics, materials science, chemistry, and biology began in 2035. The Insect Tribe originated on Blue Star rather than arriving from space. |
| Approximately level 3.7 technological civilization | 1455 | The relocated civilization reached this level after roughly a thousand years of technological development following the Blue Star Wandering Project. |
| Spiritual Qi revival | 2047 | Spiritual Qi leaking from a lunar spatial rift reached Blue Star, enabling cultivation and beginning to cleanse its oceans and atmosphere. |
| Star-domain technological civilization | 2345 | Returning thousands of years later, Ling Yi found humanity ruling an entire star domain, with technology including the Star Domain Great Wall, Dual Vector Foil, and Black Hole Bombs. |
| Unrestricted access to the Source Realm | 2788 | Clearing the Guardian Dungeon unlocked the level cap and opened the Source Realm gate to all Blue Star class holders without a level requirement. |
| Increased ability-awakening probability | 3088 | Catalytic elements brought back from the moon raised the concentration of Blue Star's native evolutionary energy past a threshold, making ability awakenings substantially more likely. |
History by Setting
Alien Invasions and Myth Warriors
Siterui regarded Blue Star as an ideal foundation for a new Yumo empire. Mistaking humanity's sudden military improvement for another advanced civilization's intervention, he sent the planet's coordinates and the Z85 Passage map to the Ge Rui Si People, then withdrew his fleet to Mars 371 372.
Humanity's new strength actually came from a Universe Black Box. Ancient Country's Myth Warriors defeated alien warships, while countries that had surrendered to the Yumo Planet People suffered a sharp loss of international standing 372.
- Ge Rui Si invasion: The invaders coveted Blue Star's resources and its strategic position for attacking the Wolf Star System. Using the newly supplied safe passage, they attacked its cities with thousands of saucer craft on New Year's Eve in 2029 372.
- Yumo infiltration: Siterui left agents behind to monitor events and obtain Myth Warrior technology. Their resemblance to humans allowed them to conceal their distinguishing head feelers beneath hats or wigs 374.
Mind Network and Prehistoric Civilizations
Ling Yi established an underground installation containing 256 biological computers that hosted real Reincarnation Worlds. Physical objects could not pass between those worlds and Blue Star; the associated Reincarnation Space provided a tower, living quarters, and a points-exchange system 683.
The Mind Network eventually covered almost the entire planet. Its remaining gaps included the Arctic, Antarctica, and Mount Everest's summit—harsh regions without humans or large creatures to support coverage 687.
Records beneath Antarctica described the destruction of the purple people's civilization. During its final international war, the scientist Lu Er detonated a Light Energy Oblivion Bomb. Besides devastating the civilization, it destroyed an atmospheric water-vapor layer that had maintained a constant temperature and atmospheric pressure four times the modern level. The resulting condensation flooded Blue Star and accompanied drastic atmospheric and crustal changes 687.
Destruction in the Marvel Universe
The Ancient One foresaw Blue Star's destruction during the conflict between Ling Yi and Jiang Chen. Ling Yi had already evacuated people into his own world, which he described as another, undeveloped Blue Star 1029.
After Ling Yi captured the weakened Jiang Chen and departed through the Hunter System's Hunting Vortex, Blue Star released an enormous amount of energy and exploded, leaving planetary ruins in the Marvel Universe 1030.
Blue Star Wandering Project
In one parallel world, humanity united to move Blue Star away from its dying sun. A separate Second Home Project sent exploration fleets to nearby star systems as insurance against failure 1454 1455.
| Project Year | Milestone |
|---|---|
| Third year | The Blue Shield Plan succeeded, supporting a five-year acceleration program 1455. |
| Tenth year | Blue Shield Phase Two succeeded; Blue Star reached half the speed of light 1455. |
| Fiftieth year | A red dwarf's gravity caught the wandering planet, creating its first major crisis 1455. |
| 130th year | Humanity found the Morning Star System, 45 light-years from the Solar System, and began twenty years of deceleration 1455. |
| 150th year | The project concluded after more than 1,200 crises 1455. |
One Second Home fleet spent a century reaching the Kepler—or Subositan—Star System. Arriving during the closing stages of the Feite invasion, its people hid in the Ice Forbidden Land, salvaged Feite spacecraft, and built a base. Ancient cultivation texts allowed them to begin cultivating, supported by a formation that converted dark particles into Genki 1454.
Environmental Collapse and the Six Stars
In the Pangu exploration setting, Ling Yi refused to provide Blue Star with Nian element or publicly release the Pangu's technology until the planet achieved peace. Lin Feng possessed level-two Heavenly Palace permissions sufficient to intervene forcibly, but whether to do so remained his decision 1871.
Blue Star later became uninhabitable for natural humans when its atmospheric oxygen fell below 1%. Most people moved to six artificial planets; those remaining on Blue Star were genetically or mechanically modified humans 1904.
Humanity eventually dismantled Blue Star's space elevators and external spaceports before leaving the Solar System. Its new home consisted of three habitable planets thousands of light-years away. Ma Qian subsequently helped restore Blue Star's environment 1907.
Other Altered Worlds
| Setting | Blue Star's Defining Condition |
|---|---|
| Multiple cultivation systems | Black holes connected Blue Star to worlds with different power systems. Its supposed Spiritual Qi revival produced a mixture of immortal cultivation, magic, Battle Qi, Soul Rings, star cultivation, and genetic evolution 1496. |
| Exotic Beast Planet | Blue Star's rotational axis and its relationship to the sun changed. One side always faced the sun and the other the Exotic Beast Planet, eliminating the normal day–night cycle for more than three hundred years 1968. |
| Transworld login | Ling Yi returned after a thousand years of cultivation elsewhere, but only three days had passed on Blue Star. Later, humanity debated point-based enhancement and the management of emerging Transcendents 2007 2016. |
| Laote's Mission Worlds | Two billion people were selected for weekly missions before a confrontation with nine other worlds in ten years. Fewer than two hundred million remained after one year, while monsters and nighttime Weirds increasingly threatened the planet 2142. |
| Beastmaster world | The Canglan Realm's Human Clan accidentally introduced an incomplete Contract Formation to Blue Star. Ling Yi later offered his Battle Beast Space as a transport network against an approaching Beast World invasion 2378. |
| Ancient cultivation civilization | Blue Star was the heart of a civilization controlling dozens of galaxies, the birthplace of Heavenly Dao consciousness, and the source of the universe's Spiritual Qi. Zhao Peng contaminated its origin spiritual power with reincarnation power 2447. |
Cultivation Academies and the Origin World
Hidden Powers
Director Bao identified three main categories of transcendent power on Blue Star: aliens, eerie powers, and cultivators. More than three hundred thousand aliens lived on the planet, including Numa People seeking control through either ostensibly peaceful methods or warfare 2581.
An ancient civilization calling itself the Primordial World had ruled Blue Star 120,000 years earlier. Its people incorporated other organisms' genes, built a lunar palace, and eventually departed into space. Before leaving, they preserved Ancient Gene within Volcano Blue-Green Algae for a future intelligent race to discover 2595.
Non-Interference Treaty
The Immortal Cultivation Realm Non-Interference Treaty prohibited outsiders from initiating harm against Blue Star's humans or interfering with its development. Their permitted activities centered on cultivation academies and teaching. Although they helped revive Spiritual Qi and train local cultivators, national leaders remained suspicious 2646.
- Local cultivation ceiling: Blue Star's Spiritual Qi supported cultivation only up to the Golden Core Stage; further advancement required leaving for an Immortal Cultivation Realm 2646.
- Planetary formation: Ling Yi discovered a formation drawing Spiritual Power outward, despite the planet's apparently inexhaustible internal supply 2651.
- Hidden motive: An outsider explained that a self-proclaimed Reincarnation God had identified Blue Star as the Origin World. According to that figure, its people could activate Power of Origin at Golden Core, which outsiders could devour to increase their cultivation 2673.
Simulated Threats
These outcomes appeared in Ling Yi's cultivation simulations rather than as established events in the ongoing world.
| Simulated Event | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Outsiders sought the Death God Notes | The Immortal Cultivation Realm activated a Fifth Pin Spirit Severing Array, causing Blue Star's Spiritual Qi to vanish 2649. |
| Divine Restriction Grand Formation activated | The formation sealed the planet and killed its cultivators. Ling Yi survived but lost his Immortal Power, Spiritual Root, and Spiritual Veins 2654. |
DC Universe: Protection and Relocation
Non-Rule Zone
Blue Star was surrounded by an eggshell-like Non-Rule Zone. This barrier prevented the Guardian, whose body consisted of rules, from entering. Moving the planet shattered that protection 2880.
Before this discovery, Shazam deduced that Blue Star's unusual relationship with cosmic laws prevented the Guardian from observing it or personally attacking its people. The Guardian instead directed the Green Lantern Corps to kill its Transcendents 2871.
- Defenders: Ling Yi's enhancements made Clark, Diana, Shazam, and his other subordinates vastly stronger than the invading Green Lanterns 2871.
- Harold Jordan: Declared himself a Blue Star native before a Green Lantern and rejected the invasion's premise 2871.
- Bound dimensions: Mephisto's Hell and the Sphere of the Gods were attached to Blue Star, complicating attempts to pack up the planet 2880.
Return to the Universe's Center
Blue Star's displacement from the universe's center threatened the entire defective multiverse with destruction. The Guardian opposed its return because restoring its proper position would transform the world into a Lesser Omniverse and obstruct his intended escape through the world's destruction 2875 2881.
Ling Yi successfully removed Blue Star through a spatial gate despite the Guardian's interference. He released it in the Apocalypse Star System, adjusted the star, and recreated the other Solar System planets around it 2881 2882.
Ordinary inhabitants noticed almost nothing during the transfer, although the altered surrounding stars would eventually reveal the relocation to astronomers. Afterward, Ling Yi proposed withdrawing most of his subordinates' excessive power to reduce the risk of accidental destruction 2882.
Planetary Consciousness and Cosmic Migration
Lan
Lan's consciousness was born 2.6 billion years before her meeting with Ling Yi. She increased the concentration of an existing planetary energy to encourage beneficial genetic evolution and produce defenders against hostile planetary consciousnesses 3088.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Energy source | Originated underground, although its atmospheric concentration increased with altitude before stopping abruptly above the stratosphere 3088. |
| Memory archive | A blue crystal database containing prehistoric civilization records, genetic information, and methods for using catalytic elements 3088. |
| Earlier consciousnesses | Two previous Blue Star consciousnesses had been devoured by others of their kind 3090. |
| Avatar | Could take physical form but initially remained bound to Blue Star 3090. |
| Growth | Could strengthen through time or potentially by devouring other planetary consciousnesses; stronger inhabitants did not directly strengthen her 3088. |
| Ling Yi's safeguard | His Magic Seed constrained Lan, and he required her true body to remain on Blue Star even if her avatar departed 3090 3091. |
Lan viewed living beings as recoverable genetic data. Ling Yi rejected sacrificing the existing population for migration and delayed departure by six months to protect it 3091.
Departure from the Solar System
- Independent ecology: Ling Yi created planet-enclosing magical equipment that sustained Blue Star without sunlight, provided sufficient Genki remained available 3091.
- Transport: An enormous spatial-magic Kun carried the planet through space 3091.
- Lunar disappearance: Lan neutralized the environmental consequences when the moon vanished, preventing the expected disasters 3091.
- Long-term objective: Lan sought other planetary consciousnesses. Her growth would raise Blue Star's energy level and accelerate its creatures' evolution 3091.
Ancient Star Realm
Blue Star was the ancient core of the Ancient Star Realm, which predated the All Heavens and Myriad Worlds. Ling Yi explained that humanity throughout those worlds shared ancestry with Blue Star's humans 3110.
Its cultivators possessed a distinctive talent-awakening capability, earning the planet a reputation as a “cradle of geniuses.” However, thin primal Qi sharply restricted local advancement; Spirit Gathering Arrays and primordial-Qi secret realms offered possible exceptions to the apparent ceiling 3096 3122.
In the plot Ling Yi recalled, Blue Star's exported geniuses made it increasingly influential. Rival powers eventually united against it, but its returning powerhouses secured victory. Blue Star ultimately formed a three-way balance with the Devil Baleful Energy Hall and Heavenly Court 3122.
Demonized Blue Star
Demonic Qi transformed Blue Star's air, terrain, oceans, and living environment. Within two months, a gray-black atmosphere concealed the planet's surface, while the Solar System fell into darkness 3324.
- Solar threat: Ling Yi observed Demonic Qi gathering around the sun and initially estimated complete solar demonization within six months to a year 3312.
- Heat and light: Mutated plants and minerals emitted heat or light, maintaining temperatures despite the dimming sun 3324.
- Technological collapse: Every electronic device stopped working, and network signals disappeared 3324.
- Irreversibility: Ling Yi stated that demonization could not simply be reversed; removing Demonic Qi would also deprive Magic Cultivation practitioners of the energy sustaining them 3324.
Literary Worlds
The Literary Dao Purple Light reshaped Blue Star's society by allowing people to obtain power from Literary Worlds. Every human over sixteen received a Literary World Imprint permitting entry after eight o'clock each evening 3924.
| Date / Rule | Effect |
|---|---|
| September 15, Great Qian year 825 | The first World Walkers acquired Transcendent power 3924. |
| February, Great Qian year 828 | Emperor Qian Wu became Blue Star's first Sixth Tier expert 3924. |
| January, Great Qian year 850 | Firearms and other modern weapons ceased functioning; national strength increasingly depended on World Walkers 3924. |
| Planetary Battle Power limit | No more than ten million Battle Power could be exerted within Blue Star's boundaries 3946. |
Blue Star 2025 was itself a Literary World, but also a gathering place of Karmic Luck. Outsiders entering it became Blue Star people; subsequent returns to their former Literary Worlds would be as Blue Star Realm Walkers 3974.
Later Threats and Returns
- Safe Zone Plan: Shen Wan'er and Jiang Yuxi identified Reincarnators, Fantasy World experts, and the Chief God as threats. Ling Yi supplied controllable Heavenly Dao assistants for their Personal Small Worlds 4587.
- Zombie apocalypse: Ling Yi and Shen Yue combined their Space Abilities to reopen a stable black hole home. They returned despite the expected zombie infestation; Shen Yue refused to risk bringing Mu Hanyue, an outsider, with them 4900.
- Recovery: Ling Yi later described Blue Star as badly damaged and left its future development to the surviving humans after the apocalypse's resolution 4902.
Tianyuan Outer Star and the Age of Dharma Decline
In another setting, Blue Star had been known as Tianyuan Outer Star ten thousand years earlier. It was a satellite planet of Tianyuan Star and supported cultivation sects whose strongest recorded expert reached Spirit Transformation. A catastrophic Spiritual Qi extraction event ended that civilization's prosperity 5031.
| Condition | Details |
|---|---|
| Modern cultivation ceiling | Ninth Layer of Qi Refining; insufficient Spiritual Qi prevented even exceptional talents from reaching Foundation Establishment 5032 5038. |
| Remaining inheritances | Some people preserved limited cultivation through surviving techniques or Dharma Artifacts 5035. |
| Preservation formation | Master Piaoyun used the Nine Nines Return to One Formation to retain the planet's final trace of Spiritual Power for a thousand years 5041. |
| Remaining time | Piaoyun warned that the last Spiritual Power would dissipate within ten years at most 5041. |
| Teleport Gate | Sent selected geniuses away to seek advancement and a means of restoring Blue Star's Spiritual Qi 5041. |
Fanbao's investigation also reported that successive emperors from Shang Tang through the Great Ming had been immortal cultivators who left through the Teleport Gate rather than truly dying 5041.
Connection to Ling Yi
- Home and return point: Blue Star repeatedly serves as a destination Ling Yi returns to after cultivation or travel in other worlds 2007 2345 4900.
- Family: Ling Shuang, his cousin from Red Maple Town in Dafeng City, was taken from Blue Star in 2022 and returned briefly in 2025 after her parents' deaths 5073.
- Uncertain reality: In a later dungeon, Ling Yi recognized Jingtai Street, his former residential complex, and even a familiar crooked elm tree. The resemblance made him question whether his hometown—and his own earlier life—could be part of a constructed dungeon world 5133.
