After Lin Ran completed the main quest, Ling Yi returned to the Main World and resumed investigating the zombie outbreak while cultivating.

• Devil King Cailin brought Chi Qingxue to the royal altar, explaining that she might break the Martial God shackles and restore the Devil Master, before Ling Yi appeared and declared his interest in the Heavenly Devil.
