Ling Yi rescued Ling Shuang from Di Shitian’s poison and gathered allies while preparing to find Azure Dragon’s blood. He reached Dragon Island and entered the Dragon Palace, where his assault wounded the imprisoned dragon but did not free it.

• Dongfang Bubai warned Ling Yi that Great Ming’s factions would treat him as a threat, then gave him a Sun Moon Sect token and a way to attract the Heavenly Secrets Gate.
• Ling Yi refused offers to join the Dragon Guarding Manor and Divine Constabulary, learned that Di Shitian had taken Ling Shuang, and unlocked the Death Realm after his death soldiers reached one million.
• Ling Yi stored his manor in the Death Realm and traveled toward Dali, where he defeated Xiongba and the forces sent against him before Murong Fu arranged a meeting.
• Ling Yi entered Mount Wuliang’s ice cavern, collected ice marrow, found Bai Suzhen imprisoned beside a Ten-Thousand-Year Ice Silkworm, and freed her after bonding with the silkworm.
• Murong Fu and Jiumozhi attacked Ling Yi’s manor, but Yaoyue and Lianxing defeated them before Ling Yi returned and set out for the Feng Yun Domain to find Ling Shuang.

Ling Yi founded the State of Ling, aided Great Qin’s unification, and pledged to help the Human Dao return to the Primordial World. After entering a vortex, he appeared in Urban Battle Royale, conquered Crazy City, and advanced to an assassin scenario that left him boarding the Assassin Company's headquarters ship.
