The cabin door was an exceptionally heavy oak door, ridiculously large, but considering Hagrid's Half-blood- Giant physique, it seemed perfectly reasonable.
A neatly cultivated vegetable garden came into view in front of the house, and Neville exclaimed with delight, "Wow, it's a vegetable garden!"
Olivia couldn't help but exclaim, "This pumpkin is huge!"
A giant longbow stood against the wall by the entrance, next to a pair of enormous rubber overshoes.
A huge stone mortar and pestle were placed in front of the door.
A clean plaid curtain hangs on the windowsill, exuding a rustic yet warm atmosphere of daily life.
Harry raised his hand and knocked on the door. Immediately, a flurry of struggling sounds came from inside, interspersed with a few low barks.
Immediately afterwards, Hagrid's gruff voice rang out. "Back up, Fang, back up!"
The wooden door was pulled open a crack, and Hagrid's bearded face peeked out. When he saw that it was Harry and his group, his face lit up with joy.
But he still didn't fully open the door, instead turning back to reassure her, " Fang, be good, we're all guests!"
The group exchanged glances, all unable to suppress a smile.
Only after Fang had calmed down a bit did Hagrid open the door and invite everyone inside.
The group of six rushed in, instantly filling the already small wooden cabin to capacity.
Hagrid was desperately clutching the collar of a huge black hunting dog.
The dog was Hagrid's pet; it had loose skin and looked incredibly fierce.
Fang squirmed restlessly, barking incessantly, causing everyone to instinctively tense up, taking a half-step back warily, ready to deal with any unexpected situation.
Draco stepped forward and calmly said, "Don't worry, Fang, we're all Hagrid's friends."
To everyone's astonishment, as soon as the words were spoken, Fang actually stopped her restlessness immediately, and her droopy ears relaxed slightly.
Hagrid's eyes widened in surprise, and he exclaimed in a gruff voice, "Good heavens! I never knew you had such a strong affinity for animals! Even Fang listens to you!"
Ron immediately stepped forward, eager to spill the beans. " Hagrid, you haven't heard yet, have you? Draco's become friends with the Giant Squid from the Black Lake!"
"What?!"
Hagrid suddenly raised his voice, his thunderous shout almost lifting the roof off the cabin.
He was so excited his face turned bright red, and he slapped his thigh:
"You're not kidding, are you? Really? You've become friends with that old squid? Oh, that's fantastic, amazing! I always knew that old guy was docile!"
"It's true!" Ron nodded vigorously. "Now the whole school knows!"
Hagrid was so excited that he immediately released Fang's collar and turned to move a bench to make room for him.
The movement was too hasty, causing the teapot to be knocked over.
Suddenly Fang, Ya Ya let out a howl and pounced on the group!
"Ah--!" Olivia and Neville screamed in terror.
The crowd scattered in panic, hiding in the corners of the wooden house, their faces pale.
Fang's tail wagged wildly, and it whimpered pitifully, but it obediently lay still, not daring to lick or move around anymore.
"Haha!" Hagrid burst into laughter, the sound of which made the cabin tremble slightly. "Look! Fang loves you so much! He doesn't act like this with just anyone!"
He leaned closer and said to Draco in a tone that suggested he was sharing a secret:
"Come here, quickly pat the back of its ears, it loves being scratched there."
"Let me tell you, Fang is incredibly clever. She's a crack teller. If she bares her teeth at someone, that person definitely has bad intentions. The fact that she's so attached to you means you're a really good person!"
As Hagrid spoke, he quickly arranged the benches.
The tense nerves of the crowd finally relaxed, and their eyes gradually turned to curiosity.
They slowly gathered around the wall, surrounding Fang and Draco, their faces filled with amazement.
Hermione did as Hagrid instructed, reaching out to scratch behind Fang's ear, and the big dog's tail wagged even more enthusiastically.
It was breathing heavily, and was extremely docile.
Draco loosened his grip on it and whispered to Fang, "These are all my good friends."
As soon as he finished speaking, Fang pounced on Ron, who was closest to him, and licked his ear with his wet tongue.
Ron dodged while yelling, half-laughing and half-crying, "Stop it, Fang! My ears are covered in your drool!"
Draco and Hermione sat down at the wooden table first, and Harry, Neville, and the others followed suit.
Ron was still awkwardly dodging, shouting anxiously, " Draco, help! Fang's too enthusiastic!"
"Alright, Fang, stop fooling around." Draco said gently, and the big dog immediately stopped and reluctantly let go of Ron.
Ron quickly wiped his wet ears, ran over and sat down, while Fang slowly strolled behind Draco and quietly squatted down.
It gently nuzzled Draco's back with its head, and Draco raised his hand to rub its fluffy head.
Hagrid bent down to pick up the teapot he had just knocked over, and with his rough hands and clumsy hands, he carefully poured boiling water into it.
He said to Draco with delight, "That's wonderful! You must come often! I always keep some good food here, or you can come with me for a Fang in the Forbidden Forest; it'll be thrilled!"
"I will," Draco replied with a smile.
Harry then remembered to introduce his companions, telling Hagrid about Neville, Ron, Hermione, and Olivia one by one.
Hagrid looked at Harry with satisfaction and said, "I'm so glad, Harry, that you've made so many true friends!"
As he spoke, he picked up the teapot filled with hot water, took out several rough but clean ceramic cups from the cupboard, and poured warm tea into each of them.
After pouring the water, Hagrid leaned over and asked eagerly:
" Draco, tell me! How did you do that? Did it let you scratch its tentacles? Oh, that's its favorite thing to do! What do you feed it? Sometimes I throw it some toast crusts, it loves them!"
Draco smiled and said, "I didn't feed it, but it shook my hand, and I even gave it a name, Octopus Brother, which it really likes."
Hagrid was also taken aback, his face full of confusion. "Wait, Octopus Brother? It's a squid, it has ten tentacles! An octopus only has eight!"
Hermione smiled faintly and quickly smoothed things over, saying softly, "Don't worry, Hagrid, because of Draco, I've also become friends with Octopus Brother."
"That's good, that's good!" Hagrid immediately put the breed issue out of his mind.
He turned around excitedly, took out several large wooden trays from the cupboard, and piled a huge heap of dusty, hard flatbreads on them. "Come on, try my Rock Cakes, all you can eat!"
