Hermione rubbed against the soft scarf and said, "It's so warm."
Then she looked up and asked naturally:
"And yours?"
Draco laughed out loud:
"Nothing can be hidden from the all-knowing Miss Granger."
Hermione gave him a slight glare:
"Why are you joining in on this nickname too?"
Hermione was already used to being called "know-it-all".
What started as a sensitive term later became a nickname that Draco frequently used, ultimately becoming uniquely hers.
Draco leaned closer and said with a suggestive smile, "What, you don't like it?"
"It's not that I don't like it..." Hermione muttered softly, "It's just that sometimes, I don't know as much as you do."
Draco was about to speak when Hermione quickly steered the conversation back on track, "We're getting off topic. Where's your scarf?"
Draco feigned surprise. "How did you know I had it too?"
"Your portraits are so conspicuous, I could tell at a glance they were a pair," Hermione said. "Knowing your nature, you probably secretly knitted my portrait on them too."
Draco wasn't embarrassed at being exposed; instead, he laughed even more smugly, "Wasn't I just asserting my dominance?"
"If you wear the scarf I gave you, everyone will know you're taken. If I wear your picture on my profile picture, other girls won't dare to approach me—aren't I thoughtful?"
Hermione was both embarrassed and ashamed, and gently punched him. "Who wants to assert their ownership over you... you smooth talker!"
"Get your scarf out right now!" Hermione said, hands on her hips, her voice carrying a hint of bossiness.
Draco grinned smugly, then pulled out another scarf.
It still uses the red and yellow color scheme of Gryffindor, but the embroidery on it has been changed to Hermione's small portrait.
Hermione reached out and snatched it, then stood on tiptoe and, without a word, wrapped it carefully around Draco's neck.
"That's not the end of it."
The moment the two walked into the Great Hall side by side, all eyes in the room immediately turned to them.
A murmur of discussion immediately rose and fell in the cafeteria:
Wow... their scarves are a pair!
"It's still Gryffindor color scheme, and it even has each other's portraits on it... How blatant is that!"
" Draco actually wore a scarf embroidered with Hermione's image?!"
"This isn't a scarf, it's clearly a public display of affection..."
Facing the gazes of those around her, the whispered jokes, and the ambiguous smiles, Hermione was no longer as flustered and blushing as before.
From initial helplessness to now being openly favored by Draco.
She has gradually gotten used to everyone knowing they are together, and she has also gotten used to the sense of security that comes from being watched by everyone.
She simply and naturally moved closer to Draco.
Draco thought to himself that this girl was really stubborn, always asserting her dominance like this.
After finishing breakfast and entering the classroom, we sat down for a while, and our roommates arrived one after another. They immediately surrounded us, their eyes all fixed on our scarves.
Ron leaned closer and said earnestly:
" Hermione, did you knit this scarf? It's really well-made, even better than my mom's!"
Lavender's eyes lit up. "This is so sweet! The red and yellow color scheme, and their profile pictures—isn't this a matching couple's outfit?!"
Parvati chimed in, "Wow--They're publicly showing off their love! Our Hermione's finally been won over by Malfoy!"
Olivia winked and said, "Tell me quickly, when did you secretly knit this? Did you stay up all night to finish it?"
Neville smiled shyly, "It... it suits you very well, it looks very warm."
Hermione quickly waved her hand to explain:
"I didn't knit it! Draco did, he's the one who brought it! I didn't lift a finger!"
As soon as he said this, a burst of cheers and jeers erupted from the crowd.
"Oh, oh, oh—it was given to me by Malfoy!"
"That's too much pampering!"
"How could Malfoy do such a thing!"
Someone shouted with a laugh:
"Looks like Draco really wants to be a stay-at-home dad!"
Draco leaned back in his chair, looking completely self-righteous.
"So what? Hermione's out there building her career, and I'll take care of keeping her warm. It's not like I can't do that."
The whole class burst into laughter again.
Harry, however, was restless, tapping his fingers incessantly on the table, looking extremely tense.
He kept it on his mind.
The Quidditch match between Gryffindor First Team and Team 2 is scheduled for this afternoon.
Having endured Professor Snape's agonizing and oppressive Potions Class, the Quidditch players hurried to the broom shed to retrieve their equipment, while the main force noisily surged toward the pitch.
Draco suddenly grabbed Hermione's hand and, without a word, led her deeper into the castle.
"Come with me, I have something else for you."
Hermione was pulled along by him, guessing as they walked, "What other surprises are there? It's not... Nimbus 2000, is it?"
Draco chuckled softly and tapped her forehead lightly with his finger, "Quite clever, but not Nimbus 2000."
As soon as the two stepped into the Room of Requirement, two brand-new flying brooms leaned quietly against the corner of the wall. They were shiny and had smooth lines, clearly not ordinary products.
This is a custom-made broomstick for a couple that Draco secretly ordered from the system, and its performance completely surpasses that of the Nimbus 2000.
Hermione's broom is predominantly decorated in warm Gryffindor gold and deep red.
The broom handle is polished smooth and delicate, engraved with tiny vine patterns, and the grip is wrapped in soft, non-slip leather, making it comfortable to hold without chafing.
The broom's tail bristles are fluffy and neat, and a tiny "H" is discreetly engraved at the end of the handle.
Draco's broom is primarily platinum, with the same features, except that the end of the handle is engraved with a neat "D," making it stand out from Hermione's.
The two brooms placed together complement each other in design; they seem like a match made in heaven.
Hermione looked at the two overly meticulously crafted brooms in front of her and said helplessly, "You're doing this again..."
Draco laughed and said, "Don't you like it?"
Hermione nodded gently. "I like it..."
She then asked softly, "Does it have a name?"
Draco's lips curled into a smile; he had already made up his mind.
"You named this one Draco's Protection. What do you think? It means—I will always protect you."
Hermione's heart skipped a beat.
He even openly declared his feelings by naming a broom.
She steadied herself and asked softly, "And what about yours?"
Draco raised his hand and gently stroked the handle of his broom, saying, "Mine is called Hermione's Hero."
The meaning is simple—I am your hero.
Hermione silently screamed in her mind: I'm so embarrassed... This guy is just too good at this...
Draco, chin in hand, said smugly, "How about it? Not a bad name, right?"
Hermione blushed, her eyes darting away, and she muttered stubbornly under her breath, "... It's just so-so, who told you to keep bringing that up every day?"
Despite saying that, his fingers couldn't help but gently touch the letter "h" on the broom handle.
Draco saw through her pretense immediately, laughed, and gently put his arm around her waist. " Miss Granger, you're so hypocritical."
Hermione's heart skipped a beat, and she quickly nudged him gently. "Stop fooling around, there's Quidditch match this afternoon, Team One and Team Two are waiting for us, we'll be late if we don't go now."
Hearing this, Draco took her hand and handed her her broom. "Come on, let's show them how cool our couple's brooms are."
The two men, each with a broom, walked out of the Room of Requirement side by side.
