The two then rode together on a broom, Draco behind and Hermione in front, as the broom slowly rose into the air and lifted off the ground.

A gentle breeze blew, and the people, trees, and stone path below gradually shrank in size.

Hogwarts Castle is like an ancient castle covered in white sugar, with spires, towers, and walls that stretch as far as the eye can see, so beautiful that it leaves you speechless.

After flying for a moment, Draco gently moved his arm and slowly wrapped it around Hermione's waist.

Hermione's body trembled violently, as if she had been lightly pricked by a snowflake, and her heart pounded.

She no longer cares what others think or say.

Even so, being so close to him, being held firmly in his arms, still made her too shy to lift her head.

She turned her head slightly, gave Draco a reproachful look, her eyes filled with a mixture of embarrassment and helplessness.

Draco, however, remained serious and spoke with righteous indignation, "It's windy, and the broom is unsteady. I'm holding you so you don't fall."

Hermione blushed even more upon hearing this, and muttered under her breath, "You're clearly doing this on purpose, and you're even making up such Diadem excuse."

Draco didn't argue, he just tightened his grip on her arm, and his laughter gently landed on her head.

The broom floated slowly in the air, the sunlight was gentle, and the snow scene was vast.

The world was quiet, with only their breaths and barely concealed excitement remaining.

The next day was Christmas. As soon as it was light, another layer of snow fell, as soft and light as cotton.

Draco and Hermione had just gotten off the broom and landed on the ground.

Upon entering the castle corridor, a huge fir tree blocked our way.

The tree trunk was so thick it almost blocked the entire road, its branches sprawling outwards, and the air was filled with the sweet fragrance of pine needles.

Two enormous boots were sticking out from under the tree, and the loud, labored breathing made it clear without even looking that it was Hagrid.

Hermione stopped in her tracks, quickly stepped forward, and asked gently:

" Hagrid, this tree is very heavy. Can you move it by yourself? Let us lend a hand so we can save some effort."

Hagrid was bent over, covered in sweat, his chest heaving as he panted.

But he still waved his hand defiantly, his voice muffled. "It's alright, it's alright, this weight is nothing, I can handle it."

Even so, the muscles in his arms were taut, clearly indicating that he had exerted a great deal of effort.

Draco stood still, saying nothing, but gently raised his wand and uttered a very soft incantation.

A faint, almost invisible silver light fell on the tree trunk, instantly making the once frighteningly heavy fir tree feel much lighter.

Hagrid immediately felt relieved, straightened up, let out a long sigh, and smiled.

"Oh, thank you so much, Draco, that makes things much easier."

Draco nodded slightly and casually asked, "How's Fang doing lately?"

"It's doing great, very strong!" Hagrid slapped his thigh and laughed, "It just keeps talking about you, always wanting you to come and play with it."

Draco couldn't help but chuckle, "I just went to see it a few days ago, why are you thinking about it again?"

Hagrid scratched his head, looking at the two of them with a puzzled expression. "I don't understand either, that little guy just happens to like you two. Whenever he sees you two, his tail wags like a little flag."

Draco and Hermione exchanged a glance, a knowing smile playing on their lips.

They naturally understood the reason.

Unbeknownst to others, only the two of them could communicate with Fang.

The two then helped Hagrid slowly move the large fir tree into the Great Hall.

Upon entering, the room immediately brightened up. Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick were busy setting things up.

The walls were covered with holly and mistletoe, their green leaves and red berries intertwined into strings of hanging ribbons of color.

Twelve towering Christmas trees stood everywhere, some adorned with glistening icicles, others lit with hundreds of candles.

The candlelight reflected off the snow, creating a scene so beautiful it was impossible to look away.

The festive atmosphere of Christmas gradually spread from the Great Hall.

The long table was laden with candied fruit and baked goods, the fire blazed brightly in the oven, and ribbons and silver ornaments hung from the ceiling.

Cho Chang and Emock, Goyle Vincent, and many other familiar faces were present.

They all gathered together, chatting and laughing, filling the room with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The most interesting thing that happened in the Great Hall today was that Fred and George had hidden a trap under the mistletoe.

Hogwarts has an old rule that anyone who accidentally stands under the mistletoe must kiss the other to be considered compliant; there's no escaping it.

The two brothers were full of clever ideas and had long anticipated the opportunity, leading people to the green branches adorned with ginkgo nuts time and time again.

Neville and Hannah bumped into each other without realizing it, their faces turning bright red like ripe apples. They were at a loss for what to do, which drew laughter from the entire room.

Even the usually serious Professor Snape was almost deliberately led to the tree by the two of them when he passed by.

The professor frowned, his eyes turning icy cold, and the two troublemakers quickly made their escape, laughing and joking.

After playing pranks on the others, the two brothers exchanged glances and immediately set their sights on Draco and Hermione.

Goyle and Vincent were the most enthusiastic supporters, secretly blocking the way from the side, while Harry and Ron also suppressed their laughter and cooperated.

Susan, Hannah, Cho Chang, and the others pretended to talk, subtly leading the two towards the mistletoe ribbons.

By the time Hermione came to her senses, there was nowhere left to retreat, and above her head hung a cluster of green branches that symbolized a kiss.

A chorus of jeers immediately erupted from the crowd.

Ron slammed his fist on the table and laughed loudly. Emock, Olivia, Parvati, Lavender all came over to watch the fun, their shouts growing louder and louder.

Hermione's cheeks instantly burned, and she panicked, shrinking back repeatedly, whispering, "No... don't do this... they did it on purpose..."

Before she could finish speaking, Draco didn't hesitate for a second, leaning down slightly and quickly placing a light touch on her lips.

A kiss as light as a dragonfly skimming the water, like a snowflake landing on the lips, so light it's almost invisible, so fast it leaves no time to react.

Although everyone couldn't see clearly, they all understood what was happening, and the commotion immediately lifted the roof off.

Someone in the crowd shouted, "My eyes!"

Then someone else shouted, "I'm blind! I've witnessed something like this today!"

Lavender cupped his hands in his heart, his eyes filled with joy, and exclaimed repeatedly, "This is so romantic! This is what Christmas should be like!"

Parvati nodded with a smile, a mischievous grin on his face. "I knew Draco wouldn't let this opportunity slip by!"

Hermione was both embarrassed and annoyed. She reached out and gently pushed Draco, whispering a reproachful rebuke:

"What are you doing! It was clearly a prank, and you're joining in the fun!"

Draco smiled and took a half step back, looking completely at ease. "There's nothing I can do; it's what everyone wants, and I can't go against their wishes."

Hermione blushed even more at those words and lowered her head.

The laughter in the Great Hall grew louder; the warmth of Christmas, wrapped in the sweetness of mistletoe, permeated everywhere.
