Draco simply replied:

"Because other people's magic mirrors reflect different things, but in my magic mirror, there has only ever been Hermione."

Ron opened his mouth, but couldn't utter a single word in rebuttal. He just grunted in defeat.

Hermione blushed, too embarrassed to lift her head, and softly stopped them, saying, "Could you... please stop talking about this?"

Ron ignored him, stubbornly shouting, "Look at you, all you think about is romance! I'm a man with big things on my mind!"

Draco laughed after hearing this and said:

"That's because I didn't have to go through all that trouble. If you all found someone as wonderful as Hermione, you'd probably be just like me, unwilling to go through all that trouble."

He continued:

"Seven years of wizarding studies is already incredibly demanding, and after graduation, you still have to find a job. You all know how difficult it is to find a stable job in this world."

"Without some skills, you can only live a life of idleness and waiting to die. But I'm different. I'm just relying on my Hermione, so I don't have to worry about anything and can live a carefree life."

"Besides, carrying too much on your shoulders will cause you to grow gray hair prematurely. Ron, why don't you close your eyes and think about it?"

Ron actually pictured himself with a full head of white hair in his mind, and couldn't help but shudder.

His face immediately fell, but Harry, listening nearby, remained unfazed.

Ron sighed for a while, then suddenly grinned and approached Hermione: " Hermione, how about you give me a chance to pursue you?"

Hermione rolled her eyes at him and said decisively, "Get out of my way."

Ron touched his nose, turned to look at Draco, and said with genuine envy, "I'm really envious of you!"

Draco smiled, patted him on the shoulder, and said earnestly, "It's too late to be envious. My Minmin's heart has already been completely given to me."

Hermione was both angry and embarrassed, feeling extremely awkward. "Shut up, you two! You're all so unseemly!"

Ron quickly raised his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay, I won't say anymore."

Draco just chuckled quietly to himself and didn't say anything more, which calmed Hermione down a bit.

Ron's eyes lit up, and he leaned closer again. " Draco, you have such good taste, why don't you help me find one too?"

When Hermione heard the words "good taste," she was too embarrassed to react, so she just kept a straight face and pretended not to hear it.

Draco glanced at him, then laughed and scolded, "You little rascal, you've got your hands on me."

Ron immediately put on a smile and pleaded, "Boss, please help me."

Draco hesitated for a moment, then relented. "Alright, seeing how sincere you are, I'll think it over for you."

Ron's eyes lit up, and he asked eagerly, "There really is someone in mind?"

Draco nodded. " Lavender, you two are always bickering and arguing, just like a pair of bickering lovers. That's the kind of relationship that's most likely to blossom into affection."

Hermione and Harry exchanged a glance and both secretly smiled.

Ron was startled and waved his hands repeatedly, "Ah? Lavender? Absolutely not!"

"I can't argue with her, and she's more assertive than me. If I were to be with her, would I have a good life? She would definitely control me completely."

Draco said, "Isn't this exactly what you wanted? You just need to play the weaker role and let her be in charge, then you can easily coast along?"

Hermione and Harry could no longer hold back and chuckled softly.

Ron thought it over and over, but still shook his head. "No, no, Lavender is even lazier than me. If the two of us lived together, our lives would probably be even more difficult than my family's."

Upon hearing this, all three of them couldn't help but laugh, and the corridor was filled with lighthearted sounds.

Draco added, "In that case, find a Hufflepuff girl. They are reliable, hardworking, and ambitious—the most dependable."

Ron stroked his chin and nodded repeatedly. "That's not a bad idea."

Hermione rolled her eyes and said helplessly, "You two are really birds of a feather. You don't think about studying hard and improving yourself all day long, you just think about clinging to girls. What kind of behavior is that?"

Draco immediately pointed at Ron: "Did you hear that? I'm talking to you. You'd better reflect on your actions."

Ron gave him a strange look. "You talk as if you're not one of them."

Draco retorted confidently, "I'm different from you. My Hermione willingly lets me rely on her, but the person you found might not treat you the same way."

Ron, with a pained expression, turned to Hermione: " Hermione, do you have any sisters?"

Hermione blushed and immediately glared at Draco: "I'm not doing this willingly. If you don't strive for improvement, I'll kick you..."

She stopped abruptly halfway through her sentence, too embarrassed to continue.

Ron grinned slyly from the side. "Kick him away!"

Draco immediately put on a pitiful look and whispered, "No, Minmin, I can't bear to part with you."

Hermione just glared at him.

Draco then said in a serious tone, "The world is about balance. There must be gentle people for every powerful person. Otherwise, who will take care of the children when they are born?"

Hermione's face flushed, and she quickly interrupted, "Stop, stop! We're getting off-topic! We're only first graders, what are you all thinking!"

Ron chimed in, "You can ask your parents to help take care of the child."

Draco immediately yelled, "Damn Ron, shut up!"

Ron secretly smiled happily.

Hermione thought for a moment, then nodded. "That's not a bad idea."

Draco quickly pleaded, "No, Minmin, no matter what, I have to let the child experience the majestic and profound fatherly love of the Seven Wolves."

Hermione, seeing that things were getting increasingly absurd, waved her hands repeatedly. "Alright, alright, stop talking nonsense! If you keep going, it'll never end!"

Then she quickly changed the subject, subtly shifting the focus to Harry, and said with a smile:

"You two, stop talking nonsense. Look at Harry; he always studies diligently in his heart, thinking about how to work hard in the future and provide a stable life for those around him. He's not like you, with your glib tongues."

"Isn't that right, Harry?"

Upon hearing this, Harry was immediately taken aback, caught off guard by her sudden gesture.

Draco nodded in agreement, adding, "That's true. If Harry and Cho Chang really did end up together, it would indeed be quite a good match."

"One is quiet and beautiful, the other is down-to-earth, hardworking, and ambitious—this combination isn't necessarily bad."

As Harry listened to their conversation, a blush slowly crept onto his cheeks.

"They really do look like a perfect match," Ron chimed in.

He then sighed and said, "It's a pity Harry probably won't have much of a chance. Throughout this entire semester, apart from Draco and Hermione being together most of the time, Harry and Cho Chang haven't even exchanged a few words."

The four chatted and laughed as they slowly walked back to the Gryffindor Common Room along the corridor.

As soon as he entered, Ron sat down on the sofa and couldn't help but mutter, "Do you guys think Cho Chang... she might still have a thing for Draco?"

The moment those words left his mouth, the blush on Harry's face faded instantly, and his eyes lowered slightly.

Although he didn't say anything, his unease was clearly written on his face.

Hermione's expression gradually darkened, her smile vanished, and a faint chill settled over her eyes.
