At the end of the corridor, a tall and elegant figure walked slowly towards them.
The man had thoroughly cleaned himself up and was no longer the disheveled man he had been the night before.
His long, jet-black hair was neatly trimmed, his face was handsome and deep, and his well-fitting black wizard robe accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist.
Her brows and eyes regained the noble and sharp look unique to the Black clan, but when she looked in Harry's direction, only extreme tenderness remained in her eyes.
Although he still appears thin, he exudes a powerful and composed aura, and every step he takes seems to be accompanied by his own light.
The entire carriage exploded instantly.
"Who... who is that?!"
"So elegant... Are you a professor?"
"Doesn't seem like it... Which family's patriarch is it?"
"My God, he's so handsome!"
A murmur of discussion arose, and everyone's eyes were fixed on him, filled with a mixture of shock and curiosity.
Sirius weaved through the crowd, ignoring all stares, and went straight to the door of Harry's compartment. " Harry, I've come to get you."
The entire carriage of people was completely stunned.
Harry froze, and the handle of his suitcase slipped slightly from his hand.
The man who was exhausted the night before now stood before him, clean-cut, upright, and exuding an aura of composure.
He almost didn't recognize him, but judging from the man's eyes, Harry was certain that this was his godfather!
Sirius chuckled as he looked at Harry's dazed expression, then reached out and gently ruffled his hair in a natural and affectionate gesture.
"Were you scared?"
Harry shook his head vigorously, a smirk involuntarily creeping onto his face. "No... you look..."
He couldn't find the right words for a moment, so he could only say dryly, "Very good."
Heads popped out from between the cubicles, their eyes filled with shock and curiosity.
No one had ever seen such a charismatic adult wizard, and no one expected that such a figure would be so gentle with Harry Potter right from the start.
Hermione quietly tugged at Draco's sleeve, her eyes sparkling. "He's completely different from last night."
Draco, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed, glanced at the Black family indifferently. "Even the Black family, at their worst, still has some dignity."
Ron scratched his head and exclaimed sincerely, "That's so cool... Harry have family to pick him up now!"
These words made Harry's nose tingle slightly, but he was immediately overwhelmed with immense joy.
In the past, he was always the loneliest one during holidays. While others had their parents to pick them up or their families to wait for them, he only had the cold Dursley family house.
This time, however, he had a godfather.
Sirius seemed to read his mind. He bent down and lowered his voice, saying, "From now on, I'll pick you up every time you have a holiday. I'll never let you go home alone again."
"Yes!" Harry nodded vigorously.
The train conductor blew his whistle and shouted that the train was about to depart.
The students quickly retreated to their cubicles, but their eyes kept drifting over, and they couldn't suppress their whispers.
"Who exactly is it?"
"Is she Harry's relative?"
"That looks amazing..."
"A hundred times more handsome Snape!"
Sirius straightened up, glanced around the corridor, and the curious gazes immediately disappeared.
He looked at Harry gently again. "I'll be waiting for you in the private compartment up ahead. Come over when you have time, and I'll take you away when the train arrives."
He nodded politely again, looked at Harry's friends, and finally lingered on Draco for half a second.
Last night in the common room, it was this boy who calmly told the truth, calmed everyone down, and protected Harry.
Thank you all for staying with him.
"Of course." Draco's tone remained indifferent.
Sirius smiled slightly, then turned and left.
The entire carriage fell silent for a few seconds as he walked by, until his figure disappeared around the corner, at which point the chatter erupted again, even louder than before.
Harry sat back down, his hands still trembling slightly, not from fear, but from sheer joy.
"Congratulations, Harry." Hermione smiled and patted his arm.
"You finally don't have to go back to that awful Muggle house anymore!" Ron was happy for him.
Draco leaned against the window, watching the castle recede into the distance, and murmured, "At least, there's a decent ending."
The Hogwarts Express sounded its whistle and slowly pulled away from the station.
The mountains, forests, and lakes outside the window receded little by little, marking the end of a school year filled with secrets and frights.
And a new life with family and a place to call home is just beginning.
Harry gazed out the window, a smile playing on his lips that wouldn't fade.
This was the first time in his life that he walked towards a place called "home" with anticipation and peace of mind.
The train passed through a series of Muggle towns before finally coming to a slow stop, the wheels rubbing against the rails with a long, soft creak. Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station was instantly filled with noise.
The sounds of boxes rolling, owls hooting, students saying goodbye, and making promises to write letters during summer vacation all mingled together.
Remember to write to me during summer vacation!
Don't forget us!
See you in September!
They hugged and hugged, said goodbye again and again, and lingered for a long time before finally walking toward the wall that separated the magical world from the Muggle world.
The withered old guard stood watch at the exit, letting only two or three people through at a time to prevent a group of people from suddenly passing through the wall and startling ordinary Muggle travelers.
Finally, I stepped off the platform, and sunlight fell on my shoulders.
Outside the station, it was already crowded with parents who had come to pick up their children...
Shouts rose and fell from each household, and everyone rushed into the arms of their loved ones with bright smiles.
Harry turned to look at Sirius, and the two exchanged a glance and nodded.
They needed to find the Dursley first, explain things clearly, and then Harry would never be forced to return to that cold house again.
On the other side, Draco and Hermione walked out of the station side by side, sunlight falling on them.
Their casual attire made them look like an ordinary, good-looking Muggle boy and girl.
I had only taken a few steps when I heard familiar footsteps behind me.
Goyle Vincent followed closely behind, their heads close together.
Draco didn't even turn his head. " Goyle, Vincent, you two go home. Don't follow us."
Goyle's face fell, and he said pitifully, "Boss—I haven't been with you for a whole semester, I just wanted to experience it..."
Vincent immediately pulled Goyle aside and grinned at Draco, "Alright, alright, our boss wants to enjoy some alone time with his wife, let's not be third wheels."
Hermione froze instantly.
Her cheeks were flushed again.
She wanted to speak, but didn't know what to say.
Draco glanced at Hermione beside him, whose face was flushed red, and couldn't help but smile. He looked at Vincent with great pleasure. " Vincent is so sensible."
Goyle panicked and quickly raised his hand. "Boss! I'm sensible too! I'm super sensible!"
Draco chuckled and waved his hand.
"Alright, alright, you're sensible enough. You two should go back now; your parents should be waiting over there."
"Alright, boss!"
Goodbye, sister-in-law! Goodbye, boss!
Goyle Vincent dashed off, waving as they disappeared into the crowd.
