Draco turned and walked away with a cold expression.
"I'll go."
A collective gasp filled the classroom.
"Okay... you two are really something... even in Boggart class you can be flirting." Ron was speechless.
Hermione's cheeks flushed red again, but Boggart was still changing.
The indifferent Draco transformed back into Draco, covered in wounds and lying on the ground.
Hermione's hand holding the wand trembled.
Draco, watching from below, felt a chill run down his spine and whispered:
Hermione, spell!
Hermione snapped back to reality, her eyes hardening, and pointed her wand directly at Boggart: " Riddikulus!"
A flash of golden light.
The injured Draco instantly transformed into Draco wearing a pink tutu and a bow in his hair.
The whole class burst into laughter.
"Hahahaha! A pink dress! Hermione, you're too ruthless!" Ron laughed nonstop.
Lavender laughed until tears streamed down his face, "This is the Riddikulus I've ever seen!"
Hermione couldn't help but laugh. The Boggart exploded and disappeared, and she walked back to the group, her face flushed.
"Fine, so you think I look funniest in a skirt?"
Hermione pinched him lightly. "Who told you to tease me just now..."
In the following class,
The students took turns challenging Boggart.
Neville was the first to go up. Encouraged by Lupin, he gripped his wand tightly and trembled as he recited the spell.
They transformed the most feared Professor Snape into a comical figure wearing his grandmother's floral dress and a wide-brimmed hat.
This caused the whole class to burst into laughter, and Boggart also deflated.
Hannah confronted the shadowy figure that haunted her, transforming it into a bouncy, colorful rabbit, easily dispelling her fear.
Parvati and Lavender then stepped forward, one transforming the frightening spider into a dancing little spider wearing a top hat.
One transformed a terrifying ghost into a soft, adorable bubble-blowing creature; both successfully cast the spell.
Olivia calmly turned Boggart into a squirrel rolling around with nuts, ending the battle swiftly and decisively.
Ron's turn...
He stood in front of Boggart, about to cast a spell, when he suddenly remembered Harry's embarrassing comment about him turning green from eating snot candy. He immediately started plotting revenge.
The image of the giant spider had barely formed in his mind's eye when he gripped his wand tightly, suppressed a wicked laugh, and loudly proclaimed, " Riddikulus!"
A flash of golden light,
The originally ferocious giant spider instantly twisted and Transfiguration, turning into an embarrassing scene of Harry falling off his broom on the Quidditch Pitch and plunging headfirst into a mud puddle.
Harry was covered in mud, his hair a messy plaster to his forehead, looking both comical and funny.
Ron stomped his feet laughing and pointed at the Boggart, yelling, "Serves you right for laughing at me! This is revenge!"
The whole class burst into laughter upon seeing this.
Harry rolled his eyes at Ron, and this bickering interaction amused everyone.
Ron smiled and stepped back, and it was finally Harry's turn to step forward.
He took a deep breath and walked to the wardrobe. As soon as he stood still, the wardrobe door suddenly burst open, and black mist surged out.
This time, however, Boggart did not transform into anything comical or typically terrifying.
A Dementor suddenly appeared before us!
It was draped in a tattered black robe, with nothing under its hood, and a cold, decaying aura instantly filled the entire Staff Room.
The students turned pale with fright and backed away. Harry felt a chill run through him, and his heart pounded wildly.
Fear gripped him like vines, leaving his mind blank, his hand holding the wand trembling uncontrollably, and he completely forgot how to cast the spell.
" Harry! Think of something happy, stop chanting 'Riddikulus'!" Hermione called out anxiously from the group.
Professor Lupin stepped forward, his eyes grave, and reminded him, " Potter, concentrate! Don't let fear control you!"
As he spoke, he was always ready to help Harry if he couldn't hold on any longer.
Harry closed his eyes tightly, and he seemed to hear the suffocating hiss of the Dementor.
Just as he was about to be consumed by fear, the image of his godfather Sirius suddenly flashed through his mind. Remembering his godfather's love and protection for him, a warm feeling welled up in his heart.
He suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze hardening, raised his wand at the Dementor, and shouted with all his might:
" Riddikulus!"
A dazzling golden light burst forth.
The sinister Dementor instantly twisted and Transfiguration, transforming into Ron, whose face had turned completely green after eating snot candy.
Ron looked frustrated and annoyed.
The entire audience erupted in deafening laughter. Ron, furious, jumped up and down. " Harry Potter! I'm not done with you yet!"
Harry breathed a sigh of relief, his shoulders slumped as he laughed, the fear that had gripped his heart finally dissipating.
Professor Lupin released his grip with satisfaction, shaking his head with a smile, "Very good... You two really have a mutually destructive kind of happy memory."
After that lesson, Defence Against Dark Magic became the most popular course in the entire school.
By Friday night, the entire Hogwarts was in an uproar; the official notice to go to Hogsmeade had been posted.
This means they can go to: Honeydukes for candy, Zonko's Joke Shop for prank props, Three Broomsticks for Butterbeer, and even just wander around the village lanes.
Harry was overjoyed; he could finally go because his godfather Sirius, had already signed the papers. In the past, his aunt and uncle would never have signed them!
Harry was absolutely certain of this.
Early Saturday morning, after breakfast, a large crowd gathered outside the castle gates, following Draco and Hermione like a small troop.
But as soon as I stepped out of the main entrance, the air suddenly turned cold.
The Dementor are here!
As if they had smelled the students' presence, they slowly approached from the shadows, and for a moment, only despair remained in the world, pressing down on everyone's chest.
But this time, most people's first reaction wasn't panic, but excitement, and even a bit of eagerness to try.
After all, Draco was there to protect her.
Before the Dementor could even get close, Olivia gritted her teeth, raised her wand, and cried out, " Expecto Patronum!"
A glimmer of silver light flashed, then immediately went out—clearly, she hadn't succeeded yet.
Qiu Zhang and Emock exchanged a glance, then mustered their courage and tried it themselves. They chanted in unison, but the silver light was weak and could not block the Dementor's chill at all.
The older students tried to imitate them, and without exception, they all failed.
"Your turn. Time for some real practice."
Draco told Hermione, Hermione remained very calm.
" Expecto Patronum!" she chanted, raising her wand. A dazzling silver light shot out from the tip of the wand.
The silver light transformed into a nimble little sea otter, joyfully rushing towards the Dementor. Wherever it went, the light illuminated the entire clearing, instantly dispelling the cold, despairing atmosphere. Several Dementor hissed and retreated in panic, daring not to approach any further.
