The path leading to the bridge has now completely changed.

On both sides of the wide passageway, there were no longer any Otto busy fawning or busy crew members.

Instead, it was a dense Tyranids of Zerg cleaning up the battlefield.

The air was filled with the smell of blood and a sour stench.

When Lynn appeared at the entrance of the passage, a breathtaking scene unfolded.

All Tyranids units, whether Hormagaunt, Termagant, or Tyranid Warrior, sprang into action in unison.

They neatly stepped aside to make way for Lynn.

Thousands of Hormagaunt lay silently on the ground, their sharp bony blades retracted at their sides, their carapaces reflecting a dark purple hue under the red light of the emergency lights.

The Termagant stood behind the Hormagaunt, its biological cannon barrels pointing upwards, like silent sentinels.

The ferocious Tyranid Warrior resemble statues, their thick carapaces and menacing bone blades exuding a heavy sense of oppression.

They were as orderly as soldiers awaiting the king's inspection.

Both Kerry and Isolde were stunned by what they saw.

How could an insect, which only knows how to devour all life, actually restrain its instincts and obediently obey others?

Just who is this " Titus "?!

Under the terrified gazes of the two, Lynn stepped into the passage formed by the Tyranids "guards".

Kerry and Isolde followed behind, flanked by silent and ferocious purple monsters, each step filled with trepidation.

Passing through the main passageway, you enter a wide corridor in the upper area.

The scene looked quite eerie.

A faint, multicolored, distorted light permeated the entire corridor.

On the ground, the flesh and blood of the guards' corpses had "fused" with their finely crafted plate armor.

Flesh buds emerged from the gaps in the armor, wriggling slightly.

Some of the corpses had their joints twisted at impossible angles, and faint colored light emanated from beneath their skin.

There was even a corpse whose mouth had transformed into a mouthpart with tentacles...

It's obvious who was behind this.

Kerry and Isolde hesitated, unable to move forward, as they stared at the nightmarish scene.

The writhing fleshy buds and colorful light instilled a primal fear in them, as if looking at them any longer would corrupt their souls.

Lynn knew what they were hesitating about, and a thought struck him.

A pale purple, semi-transparent Psychic Power barrier rapidly unfolded around him.

He enveloped himself, as well as Kerry Isolde.

When the barrier came into contact with the colorful, ghostly light in the air, it made a crackling sound, like vegetables that hadn't been drained properly being thrown into a pot.

The purple barrier repelled those Warp energies.

The Psychic Power within the barrier felt warm and comforting to Lynn.

But for Kerry and Isolde, being enveloped by this purple barrier was, to put it mildly, a very "bad" feeling.

The air inside the barrier was icy cold, and they could feel an endless "hunger" contained within the purple energy.

Standing behind the barrier, they resembled food placed on a plate, waiting to be enjoyed by diners.

The feeling sent chills down their spines, raising goosebumps all over their bodies.

But at least, this barrier can effectively prevent the erosion of external Warp energy.

Lynn ignored their discomfort and walked forward first.

As we were walking, suddenly!

"Ughhhh!"

Kerry let out a terrified scream.

Suddenly, several "corpses" in front of them sprang up!

Their movements were stiff, yet strangely swift, as they pounced on Kerry, who was walking at the very back!

They were the guards who had been corrupted by Warp energy and transformed into Chaos zombies!

Kerry was terrified on the spot.

Just as those zombies were about to pounce on Kerry...

A dark shadow swept by, creating a strong gust of wind that howled through the corridor.

The speed was so fast that Kerry could only see a fleeting afterimage.

The next second, several zombies paused, then exploded into pieces of flesh and armor with a "poof poof poof".

It fell to the ground with a crackling sound, and colorful blood splattered everywhere.

"No need to hide anymore."

Lynn stopped and looked toward an empty corner at the end of the corridor.

A brief silence.

Then, in that empty space, the light began to distort, like ripples on the surface of water.

A figure gradually emerged from the ripples.

It was a humanoid creature wearing a tattered robe.

Beneath the hood, the face was hidden, only two constantly flickering "eyes" burning with blue flames.

In his hand he held a twisted staff that seemed to be formed from countless screaming faces.

At the top of the staff, within a murky crystal ball, colorful vortexes were swirling wildly.

A Tzeentch Sorcerer.

He "looked" at Lynn, the two blue flames flickering violently a few times; he was "observing" and "analyzing."

Immediately afterwards, a hoarse, dry laugh, like countless sounds piled together, came from all directions:

Hahahaha!!!

The laughter quickly transformed into indescribable excitement and admiration.

What exquisite changes! What a complex interplay of contradictions!

"I can't see it clearly, I can't figure it out, it's so interesting, so wonderful! Hahaha."

He danced with joy, and the crystal ball on his staff shone brightly.

Lynn's face darkened.

He hated these fools who believed in Tzeentch, calling them madmen.

"Kill him," Lynn said calmly.

Before the words were even finished, two enormous purple figures plummeted from the corridor ceiling like cannonballs.

They were two Tyranid Warrior that had been lurking in the ventilation duct above.

They had already adjusted their posture as they fell, their forelimbs' bone blades gleaming coldly as they slashed down at the Tzeentch Sorcerer in a cross pattern!

The Tzeentch Sorcerer's laughter stopped abruptly.

The barrier he hastily erected was as fragile as paper in the face of the Tyranid Warrior's absolute power.

The bone blade easily shattered the wizard's body, along with his staff.

The two Tyranid Warrior shook off the blue blood and Psychic Power fragments that stained their bone blades, then quickly disappeared from sight.

Lynn stared coldly at the disintegrating remains of the wizard on the ground.

What the hell is Tzeentch up to?

He put these questions aside for the time being; his immediate priority was to check if the secret order and letter of recommendation were still in hand.

"Keep going," he said.

No further incidents occurred during the rest of the journey.

They finally arrived at the end of an exceptionally solemn corridor.

A huge, heavy metal door stood before me.

The gate is five meters high and is made entirely of Adamantium.

At the very center of the door is etched a massive skull relief, symbolizing death, sacrifice, and immortal loyalty.

The entire gate exuded an aura of majesty and holiness, contrasting sharply with the bloody and eerie surroundings.

"This is it." Isolde's voice was a little hoarse.

"The most secure room on the ship, used to store the most important documents and items, also requires genetic verification to open."

As soon as she finished speaking, two red lights appeared deep within the "eye socket" of the skull relief on the door.

Immediately afterwards, a Servo-skull suspended in mid-air flew out of its eye socket.

The skull was covered with a brass shell, with several data cables hanging below, and red scanning light flashing in the empty eye sockets.

"A gene scanner," Kerry said, his voice hoarse as he regained his composure.

"The door will only open once it scans my pupils and facial features and passes the verification."

The recommendation letters and genetic codes are all inside.

As he spoke, he stepped forward to allow the Servo-skull scan.

"Wait," Lynn called out to him.

Kerry stopped, puzzled.

From the huge shadow on Lynn's shoulder, a thin, long, sharp purple tentacle emerged.

It pierced the vein in Kerry's arm with the precision of a venomous snake.

"Ah!" Kerry cried out in pain, but dared not struggle.

The tentacles lingered for a few seconds, as if "analyzing" something.

Then, it quickly retreated into the shadows and disappeared.

Lynn closed his eyes, seemingly processing some information.

A few seconds later, his six eyes "opened" again.

Then, under the watchful eyes of Kerry and Isolde, the chitinous mask on Lynn's face began to undergo a strange change.

The outline of the mask flows and reshapes like liquid.

The color gradually lightens from deep purple until it approaches human skin tone.

The lines of the facial features are meticulously outlined: eyebrows, eyes, bridge of the nose, and lips.

Even skin texture and tiny pores are starting to show!

In just over ten seconds, Lynn's mask completely transformed into Kerry Von's face!

Aside from the stiffness of having no expression, they are exactly the same.

"This, this..." Kerry pointed at Lynn, his fingers trembling, unable to utter a single word.

Is this an illusion or some kind of physical technology?

Isolde gasped in shock. Is this still reality?

Lynn ignored their shock.

Wearing the " Kerry mask," he stepped forward and faced the floating Servo-skull.

The red light from the skull's eye sockets swept across " Kerry's" face, outlining the facial contours and analyzing the unique patterns of the pupils and subcutaneous blood vessels.

Beep!

A soft sound.

The red light in the skull's eye sockets turned into a stable green.

It spun around once and retracted into the eye socket of the skull relief.

Immediately afterwards, a low, mechanical hum began to sound.

The enormous gate of Adamantium split open from the middle, spreading out to both sides.

Behind the door was a room that, while not large, was extremely luxurious and solemn.

The walls were covered with deep red velvet, and hung with portraits of Imperium saints and sacred scrolls.

The floor was covered with a thick, luxurious fur carpet.

In the very center of the room was an altar-shaped pedestal carved from white jade.

On the altar, a box made of dark metal with intricate scriptures etched on its surface sat quietly.

The entire room was filled with the scent of incense and parchment, creating a sense of sacredness.

Lynn walked straight to the altar and looked at the metal box.

On the front of the box, there is a small device that resembles a dual fingerprint and blood scanner.

He extended his right hand.

The symbiotic armor on the right arm underwent changes, with the chitinous structure reorganizing, deforming, and its color being adjusted.

A few seconds later, his right hand transformed into a human hand!

It's obvious it was Kerry's doing.

He placed the "realistic hand" on the scanner.

The scanner lit up with blue light, and I felt a slight pricking sensation before the blue light turned green.

Click.

The box lid pops open automatically.

It was lined with dark blue velvet.

There were two things on the padding.

A black box and an ornate envelope sealed with red sealing wax and bearing the double seals of the Sector Governor and the Adeptus Arbites.

Lynn first picked up the envelope, tore off the sealing wax, and took out the letter inside, glancing at it a few times.

It was nothing more than some official-sounding articles praising Kerry Von's "loyalty and ability" and recommending him for the position of Planetary Governor Brevis.

He stuffed the letter back into the envelope.

Then, he picked up the black box and opened it.

Remove the green chip from inside and insert it into the Dataslate.

The dense text flowed continuously across the screen.

Lynn's pupils dilated slightly.

He saw many secrets about Brevis.

"So that's how it is..." he murmured to himself, his voice filled with barely suppressed excitement.

"Interesting, truly interesting! Hahaha..."
