Arc 17The Gate of Calamity

Dominic fought the Nurgle fleet while Lynn and Rena battled Luna’s forces beneath St. Garus. Luna’s Gate of Calamity unleashed daemons and triggered Chaos rituals across Brevis, leaving a huge, regenerating flesh growth threatening the city as orbital support was called in.

  • Dominic’s fleet encountered the Nurgle fleet, avoided its infected ships as bait, and destroyed the Pale Rose with incendiary shells made from holy relics and clergy remains.
  • Sorine warned Dominic that the Pale Hand’s consciousness had escaped aboard the Gemstone, and Dominic ordered a search of the corrupted H4 Living Area.
  • Rena gave Guyu a spinal greatsword that let her defeat the Chaos Knights and break Luna’s Nine-Sided Spirit-Sealing Barrier as Lynn’s forces attacked it from outside.
  • Luna opened the Gate of Calamity beneath St. Garus, unleashing daemons that battered the Vanguard and forced Lynn’s troops to retreat before their heavy weapons pushed the attackers back.
  • Luna distorted gravity on the spiral staircase, sent daemons and Chaos Knights toward the midcity, and activated her agents in the recruitment camps.
  • Bishop Jensen took command of the camp purifications, and Cecilia’s squads destroyed altars in eight factories while Quirk transformed into a Khorne-blessed killer and slaughtered Agnes’s squad and three Purestrain Genestealers.
  • Bishop Jensen discovered that the nine factory altars formed one ritual network as Warp Rifts opened across the camps and a rapidly regenerating flesh growth erupted between them.
  • Isolde approved an orbital lance strike from Commodore Griffith’s warship after William’s artillery and the Priests’ purification fire failed to stop the growth.

Arc 18The Rust Plague and Warp Gate

Atia’s Thousand Sons and Phelps’s Death Guard attacked Brevis, while Dominic’s forces fought to contain the Warp domain and the Rust Plague. Lynn purged the Gemstone’s Machine Spirit of corruption, but the Thousand Sons’ assault on Midtown and a Chaos Undivided blockade at Saint Garus Castle left the conflict unresolved.

  • Bishop Jensen and Colonel William prepared Midtown’s defenders as Rena mobilized the undercity forces, and Atia arrived through Warp rifts with his Thousand Sons warband.
  • Phelps’s hidden plague invasion slaughtered Keller’s squad and spread through the Gemstone’s lower decks, overwhelming successive Imperial defenses.
  • Dominic led the defense of the machine temple, where Sisters of Silence weakened Phelps’s Death Guard and Dominic beheaded Phelps.
  • Barlow and Coren revealed Phelps’s plan to corrupt the St. Garus Knight House and search for a Great Conspirator spell fragment, then killed themselves rather than remain corrupted.
  • A surviving plague seed infected the Gemstone’s Machine Spirit, and Dominic entered its consciousness while Lynn used Sorine as an intermediary to confront Phelps.
  • Lynn and the Machine Spirit destroyed Phelps and the Rust Plague, after which Lynn subdued the Machine Spirit and Dominic ordered the lower decks searched.
  • Dominic offered orbital support against Atia’s attack on Midtown as Rena reported that the Warp gate would soon close and Chaos Undivided cultists had blockaded Saint Garus Castle.

Arc 19The Battle for Brevis

Lynn and Brevis’s allied forces fought to break the Chaos siege as Atia’s Profane Barrier trapped Imperial ships and empowered the enemy. Leo claimed the Wrath of Holy Judgement, while the Imperial Fleet and Toothy’s Orks joined the counterattack, leaving Chaos on the defensive.

  • Lynn sensed his Warp Essence awakening and learned that Chaos had seized part of Midtown, so he organized a coalition assault and warned Toothy to prepare for war.
  • Isolde led the northern coalition and lower-city forces against Midtown while Dominic’s bombardment opened the battle, but Atia raised the Profane Barrier and Chaos repelled the allied attacks.
  • Dominic sent Imperial ships through the barrier’s apparent weak point, but Atia turned the crossing into a trap that stranded the Gemstone and Pegasus in a Warp Storm.
  • Lynn led a rescue force from Saint Garus Castle and was cornered by Atia and Luna, until Rena arrived with disguised Tyranid Warriors to protect him.
  • Leo discovered the Wrath of Holy Judgement and killed the Chaos creature that had possessed his grandfather, then completed the Knight’s Ritual of Becoming and took control of it.
  • The Legion of the Damned destroyed a Thousand Sons warband aboard the Gemstone and opened a path through the Warp, allowing Dominic’s fleet to breach the Profane Barrier and bombard Midtown.
  • Rena and the allied forces counterattacked as Atia’s troops weakened, while Lynn used Grip of Domination to turn Luna’s Heldrake against a Chaos Knight and Leo arrived in his Knight to defend him.
  • Toothy and Doudou led modified Orks into the battle, and the Imperial Fleet, Imperial Army, Plague Cleansing Cult, and Orks overwhelmed Chaos as the Warp Rift weakened.

Arc 20The God of Dominion

Lynn ascended as the God of Dominion and joined with Rena to defeat Tzeentch’s avatar, but the Ritual of Annihilation threatened Brevis. After recovering his memories and returning to the battle, Lynn helped save the planet and was granted a Warrant of Trade by the Imperium.

  • Toothy and the Chaos Knights fought Tyranid attackers as Rena killed Atia, whose body opened a vortex that tore Saint Garus Castle and its surroundings into an interstice where Tzeentch’s avatar appeared.
  • Lynn discovered his authority of Domination, ascended as his mortal body disintegrated, and fought Tzeentch while Rena was caught in the avatar’s psychic net.
  • Lynn used their soul bond and control of the Tyranid swarm to free Rena, and they joined souls to form a towering avatar that wielded the Shadow in the Warp and destroyed Tzeentch’s material form.
  • The Ritual of Annihilation began consuming Brevis, so Lynn contacted Toothy and sent him instructions to become a vessel for his divine power, but Tzeentch erased Lynn’s memories and returned him to his old life.
  • After meeting Rena in the human world and recovering his memories with her help, Lynn returned through a rift to Brevis, where Dominic and Rena were fighting Tzeentch’s forces.
  • Luna wounded Tzeentch’s soul vessel with the Fang of the Forsworn, allowing Lynn and Dominic to drive the avatar into a Warp Rift, and Lynn and Rena’s united power restored Brevis.
  • Dominic faded away, and Lynn became Zhen Wantian, Master of Servitude, created thirteen offspring, and faced the Chaos Gods’ storm with Rena.
  • Rena made Lynn a new body and reforged his Dragon of Frost, and Lynn accepted an Imperial Warrant of Trade from Severus Agemman after the Emperor’s golden seal appeared upon it.
