Thor roared as he charged at Steve, throwing a powerful punch.
Bang!
The fist slammed solidly into Steve's defensive arm, the sound so dull it made your teeth ache.
Steve had already made up his mind.
Fall backward using the force, roll twice, then use the shield to cover half your face, trying to finish the job quickly.
The moment his fist landed, his entire plan was ruined.
A sudden numbness shot through both arms, as if the bones had been struck by a hammer, and he was forced to take three steps back.
Steve's expression changed.
Is he that strong?
Will you move aside?
Instead of pursuing him, Thor frowned and asked a question.
Steve paused for a moment, then lowered his numb arm.
"Won't."
"Then let's continue!"
Thor charged again.
Steve's eye twitched.
Shield and fist collided repeatedly, the heavy sound echoing through the corridor. Thor's fighting style lacked any technique; he simply raised his hand to smash and charged at close range, relying entirely on his physical strength to overpower his opponent.
Steve, however, was much more agile than him.
He sidestepped Thor's straight punch, slamming his shield into Thor's chest and sending him staggering backward. Then, seizing the opportunity when Thor was off balance, he delivered a sweeping kick to the back of Saul's knee.
Thor knelt on one knee.
Steve raised his shield, preparing to finish the job gracefully.
If that shield comes down, Thor will probably lie down very readily.
Thor grabbed the edge of the shield and yanked Steve over.
"Let go!"
"Don't even think about it!"
The two exerted their strength simultaneously, and although the Vibranium Shield remained unmoved, their knuckles instantly turned white.
Steve gritted his teeth, planted his feet firmly on the ground, and with a sudden burst of strength from his waist, pushed Thor against the metal wall beside him.
boom!
Thor's back slammed heavily against the wall, causing a dent in the surface.
Steve lowered his voice and said, "It's almost over."
Thor paused for a moment.
What are you saying?
"Nothing."
Steve immediately raised his voice. "Evil alien, your power has reached its limit!"
Thor's face darkened.
"I am the Son of Odin, not an evil alien!"
After saying that, he raised his knee and struck Steve in the stomach.
Steve groaned and bent over.
That really hurt.
He suddenly realized that the biggest problem with the script Chen Mo had arranged was that it hadn't considered the actors' personal safety.
Natasha and Clint, standing nearby, remained silent throughout.
Natasha held a pistol, her expression indifferent.
Clint's full compound bow, his eyes sharp.
The two men stood firmly, their gun barrels and arrows always pointed at Thor, poised to end the fight at any moment.
After Thor was knocked back by Steve's punch, he couldn't help but glance at them.
Why didn't you fire?
What are these two mortals waiting for?
Do they advocate fair duels?
The thought lingered in his mind for less than a second before Thor charged at Steve again.
He doesn't have time to study Earthlings' fighting habits right now.
In the monitoring room, Tony pointed at the screen, his expression quite interesting.
"Did you see that? Natasha's gun has missed its target three times already."
Fury said expressionlessly, "That's because she's adjusting her posture."
"She took five minutes to adjust?"
"Professional agents need to be patient."
"Look, Clint's hands are shaking too."
"That's charging up."
Tony looked at Clint on the screen, who was still in a bow-drawing stance.
"Even if it's a shoot-down operation, they should have shot down the second one by now."
Chen Mo sat to the side, holding an electronic scoring board, carefully observing the battle in the corridor.
" Thor gets 8 points, very emotional, but his movements are too direct. Steve gets 7 points, excellent use of his shield, but his arms were numb from being hit earlier, so deduct one point."
Tony turned to look at him.
"You actually gave it a rating?"
"Of course, this is the first live-action action scene after the gods descended to Earth."
Chen Mo pressed the button.
" Natasha a six out of ten, Clint gets a six out of ten. Their fighting stances are good, but their expressions look too much like they're waiting for an elevator."
Fury's face darkened completely.
" Chen Mo, this is a battle."
"I know."
Chen Mo nodded.
"So I'll give you nine points. The way you stood there without saying a word was very intimidating, like you were ready to dock their pay at any moment."
Fury stared at him for a few seconds.
I really do want to deduct your salary now.
"I actually get paid by S.H.I.E.L.D..? Deduct it as you please?"
Chen Mo spread his hands.
"Anyway, S.H.I.E.L.D.. salaries aren't high."
Inside the cell, Loki watched the battle outside through the transparent wall, his expression gradually becoming strange.
He could tell.
These three Earthlings weren't taking it seriously at all.
The momentary shock that Steve, a mortal, showed after being hit in the arm by Thor didn't seem feigned.
Could it be that all the Earthlings teamed up to stage a play to trick Thor into rushing in to save him?
This plan sounds incredibly foolish.
But Thor clearly took it seriously.
Seeing his brother's wounds multiplying, Loki suddenly felt a surge of inexplicable emotions.
Thor, banished to Earth, had nothing.
They had no divine power, no weapons, and not even much of a brain.
But he still came.
Loki pursed his lips and muttered, "That idiot..."
Outside, Thor was hit on the shoulder again by Steve's shield, staggering back a few steps.
Steve seized the opportunity and pressed forward, his shield repeatedly striking Thor's chest and ribs, quickly forcing him to the cell door.
Thor was breathing heavily, but his eyes remained fixed on Loki.
"Don't worry, little brother, I will definitely take you back!"
Loki was stunned.
The next moment, the voice of the Ancient One suddenly echoed in Chen Mo's mind.
" Chen Mo, a few people have just descended upon Asgard."
How many people?
Four.
"How strong are you?"
"Slightly worse Thor."
Chen Mo pinched his chin, his thoughts racing.
Asgard reinforcements have arrived; it must be the Warriors Three or something like that.
If you throw them in now, Thor's prison break difficulty will immediately drop from hell mode to beginner level.
Of course, this is all predicated on them being able to get in.
The Ancient One's voice came again. "Should I just throw it at you, or leave it alone?"
Chen Mo watched Thor being forced into retreat by Steve on the screen, and a slow smile crept onto his lips.
"Set them up for a long red light first."
Are you sure?
"Of course I'm sure."
Chen Mo reached out and picked up the walkie-talkie.
"The real show has just begun; how can we let the foreign players enter the field prematurely?"
In the corridor, Steve was already preparing to fall to the ground as planned.
He deliberately created an opening, waiting for Thor to seize the opportunity to knock him away.
Chen Mo's voice suddenly came through the walkie-talkie.
" Steve, the plan has changed."
Steve paused, then caught Thor's punch with his backhand.
"Show your true skills and beat him to a pulp!"
Steve looked at Thor, who was covered in wounds but still stood in front of the cell, and remained silent for a moment.
Fury previously stated that this matter concerns the future of the planet.
Chen Mo also said that Thor must truly understand why he is fighting.
Since this is a mission...
Steve gripped his shield tighter, his eyes gradually becoming serious.
"I'm sorry, Thor."
Thor looked up.
What are you saying?
Steve suddenly stepped forward, his shield slamming into his face.
"I said, from now on, I won't let anyone else have the chance."
