Chen Mo raised his hand and gestured in front of him.
Space tore open, revealing an endless snowfield on the other side. Gale-force winds swept snow into the Sanctum, instantly cooling the freshly brewed hot tea.
Odin looked at the cup of tea, his face darkening further.
"The coordinates I provided are correct."
I haven't asked yet.
Chen Mo turned around and glanced at him.
"Old God-King, your haste to explain makes it hard for me to believe you."
Odin gripped the Gungnir, and answered no.
Chen Mo didn't provoke him any further. He stepped across the crevice and appeared on the ice plains of northern Norway.
Beneath our feet lies a layer of ice hundreds of meters thick.
The distant snow-capped mountains stretched as far as the eye could see, and apart from the howling wind, there was no sign of any life.
Chen Mo glanced down at it.
"Thirty thousand meters underground, right?"
Odin's voice came from the spatial rift.
"Forty-seven miles to the north, there is a canyon. The sealed entrance is located at the bottom of the canyon, but it cannot be found by ordinary means. You need to use divine power to sense the Uru metal."
"That's too much trouble."
Chen Mo closed his eyes and rapidly extended his mental energy into the ground.
Ice layers, rocks, groundwater, and metallic ore veins.
Everything within a radius of hundreds of kilometers instantly appeared in his perception. In less than two seconds, he found a piece of special metal with a regular shape.
The metal was buried more than 30,000 meters underground, its surface covered with dense golden runes.
Surrounding the runes is a layer of divine power that seals off space.
Chen Mo opened his eyes.
"Found it."
Odin paused for a moment.
He had prepared quite a bit of information.
This includes how to traverse the canyon, how to avoid the spatial turbulence surrounding the seal, and how to use Asgardian God-Force to open the entrance.
In hindsight, all that preparation was for nothing.
Chen Mo raised his finger and gently swiped downwards.
Buzz.
When he reappeared, Chen Mo was already standing in front of a large black door.
The gate stands hundreds of meters tall and is entirely made of Uru metal. Dozens of chains formed by golden divine power connect to the surrounding space.
Each chain is engraved with a huge number of Runes.
"Quite professional."
Chen Mo walked to the door and knocked.
Thump.
A muffled sound spread outwards, causing the entire underground space to tremble.
In the New York Sanctum, Odin immediately spoke.
" Chen Mo, don't damage the gate."
"Why?"
"Behind the gate is not an ordinary space, but an abandoned, independent dimension. The gate is part of the seal, and also the last barrier maintaining the seal."
Odin stared at Chen Mo in the light screen.
"If we forcibly destroy it, Cul might escape to another location."
Chen Mo withdrew his fist, which he had been about to slam down on the door.
"How do we get in?"
"I can temporarily open one passage."
Odin raised the Gungnir, and golden divine power began to gather.
"But you must be prepared. Cul is very powerful."
Chen Mo leaned against the gate and waited for a while.
"Um, are you done driving?"
Odin stopped what he was doing.
Didn't you hear what I just said?
"I heard you."
Aren't you going to make any preparations?
Chen Mo thought for a moment, then jumped up and down twice.
"I'm ready."
"..."
Odin suddenly didn't want to talk to him anymore.
Just as he was about to break the seal, Chen Mo's avatar suddenly placed his palm on the black door.
A portion of his consciousness rapidly spread from his body, passing through the Uru metal, overcoming the seal left by Odin, and establishing a connection with the independent dimension behind the door.
at the same time.
Within the interlayer of the world, Chen Mo's true form opened his eyes.
Location complete.
He raised his hands, grasped the nothingness in front of him, and ripped it apart violently to both sides.
A piercing cracking sound rang out.
The already severely damaged edge of the world was torn open again by a huge rift.
On the other side of the rift lies an unknown dimension.
A black and red carapace covered his entire body, and crimson-gold regular patterns rapidly spread from Chen Mo's chest. He took a step forward, and his inner world squeezed into the crack.
Boom!
Two dimensions collide.
The edges of the isolated prison space crumbled in large sections, and its internal rules were also violently shaken.
In the New York Sanctum, before Odin could even bring down the Gungnir, the light screen before him was completely enveloped by crimson-gold light.
What did he do?
"Old God-King, it seems he didn't go through the door you prepared."
The Ancient One blew on the tea in her cup.
He bypassed the world's inner workings.
Odin suddenly stood up.
"That dimension has been closed for thousands of years, how could he possibly get in without a key?"
The Ancient One looked up at him.
"Compared to what he's done before, there's nothing surprising about it."
Odin thought about it and agreed, so he sat down and continued drinking his tea.
"At least I don't have to worry about Cul killing Thor anymore."
Within an independent dimension.
Chen Mo walked out from the edge of the shattered space.
Countless black cracks crisscrossed behind him, and the terrifying dimensional pressure caused the surroundings to collapse continuously. But as his body fully entered, all the tremors quickly subsided.
Chen Mo looked up and gazed ahead.
According to Odin's description, this place should be filled with the Fear God-Force.
It could be endless black fog, or it could be all sorts of chaotic illusions. Add a few Asgardian Warriors died tragically, and the show's entertainment value should be pretty good.
But there was no black fog in front of me.
There were no bodies.
Chen Mo slowly narrowed his eyes.
A colossal golden tree of immeasurable height stands in the center of a dimension.
The thick trunk pierces through the heavens and the earth, its enormous canopy almost bursting through the dome of space. Countless branches extend into the void, and every leaf radiates a dazzling divine light.
Golden light descended, dispelling all darkness within the dimension.
Chen Mo looked up at it for a long time.
Odin.
"What's wrong?"
"Your Asgard prisons have really nice landscaping."
In the New York Sanctum, Odin, who had just raised his head, froze completely.
His single eye was fixed on the golden tree in the light screen, and the calm on his face vanished instantly. The Gungnir slammed heavily onto the ground, and its immense divine power swept across the entire Sanctum.
" The World Tree?"
Odin suddenly took two steps forward.
"Impossible, why would the passage connect here?"
Chen Mo turned his head and looked around.
Are you asking me?
"The dimension where Cul was imprisoned was an abandoned space outside the Nine Realms. This place, however, is the core area of World Tree; the two cannot possibly be connected."
Odin's voice grew lower and lower.
"Someone moved the prison."
The Ancient One remained seated, slowly taking a sip of tea.
"God King, are you sure you sealed away your own brother back then, and not just some random piece of luggage?"
Odin turned to look at him.
"There's absolutely no problem with the seal I used back then."
"But you said before that the spatial coordinates were correct."
The Ancient One put down his teacup.
"And then you said there was no problem with the prison's location."
"..."
"It seems you're rarely reliable when you get things done."
Odin's face darkened completely.
Chen Mo ignored their argument.
He had already spotted the figure beneath the giant tree.
It was a tall man, wearing tattered black armor, with long, gray-white hair hanging down his back.
There were no chains.
There were no instruments of torture.
The man knelt on both knees, head bowed, quietly facing the World Tree. He emanated no aura of fear, and even his divine power fluctuations were perfectly calm.
Chen Mo took a few steps forward.
"Is this Cul? Or is it just someone else kneeling here?"
Odin stared at the retreating figure, remaining silent for a long time.
Of course he recognized his brother.
The Cul before him was completely different from the tyrant in his memory, who was utterly consumed by fear.
Odin gripped the Gungnir.
"It's him. But the way he looks now seems to be before he went mad?"
Chen Mo looked at the man kneeling under the tree.
"I don't care about that, I'm here to eat."
As soon as he finished speaking, Cul slowly raised his head.
