Pacific Ocean base.
A deafening roar suddenly came from deep within the assembly area.
The fifty-meter-tall super mech slowly raised its right leg, and the electromagnetic stabilizer on the sole of its foot lit up at the same time. The heavy metal foot stepped onto the test platform, and the entire base shook a few times.
The next second, the reactor on the mech's chest erupted with a dazzling light.
Three thousand independent computing modules activated simultaneously, and the runic lines covering the entire body lit up one by one. The divine Vibranium hybrid armor closed rapidly along the skeleton, and the thrusters on the shoulders, arms, knees, and back deployed in sequence.
boom!
With a loud bang, the super mech finally stood up straight.
"The system is operating normally, the balancing module is functioning properly, and energy output is stable."
Tony stood in front of the holographic platform, looking up at the enormous object before him, unable to suppress the smile on his face.
"I hereby announce that Earth's first interstellar war mech has officially entered the trial operation phase."
There was a moment of silence in the assembly area.
Then, cheers erupted.
"Success!"
"It really stood up!"
"Look at the thrusters! The Asgard runes and Vibranium wiring are fully compatible!"
A large group of engineers excitedly embraced each other, and several Asgard soldiers even raised their weapons and celebrated loudly.
The dwarven craftsmen circled the bottom of the mech several times, arguing about whose runes were more effective.
Thor stood at the front and excitedly patted Loki beside him.
"Little brother, do you see this? This is a magnificent weapon jointly created by Earth and the Asgard!"
Loki looked at the mech, his expression somewhat complicated.
"Um, I have a question. Why does it have the Asgard symbol engraved on its chest?"
"Because my father said it would be more authoritative that way."
"But I remember Chen Mo provided the most materials. Won't he be angry?"
Thor's smile faltered for a moment.
"Probably not?"
The mecha suddenly raised its arm.
The massive palm-sized cannon began to charge, its blinding blue-white light rapidly compressing. Tony's expression changed, and he rushed to the control panel.
"Wait, I haven't given the order to fire yet!"
A thick beam of energy shot out and pierced through the distant test range.
The shockwave from the explosion slammed into the outer wall of the base, sending clouds of dust billowing into the sky.
Everyone was stunned.
Tony stared at the control panel in front of him, cold sweat slowly beading on his forehead.
"Who told it to fire?"
Three thousand independent modules simultaneously displayed feedback.
[Target detected ahead.]
[Identified as a potential threat.]
[Perform cleanup.]
Reed adjusted his glasses.
"Clearly, it considers the test target to be the enemy."
Tony remained silent for a moment.
"Hmm, who wrote this part? It's too sensitive."
Banner looked at the half-flattened firing range, his tone perfectly calm.
"Won't it also consider us enemies?"
Theoretically speaking, no.
Tony looked down and modified the program.
"As long as we don't stand in front of it."
As soon as the words were spoken, the super mech suddenly turned its head, and its red optical scope locked onto the assembly area.
Everyone retreated simultaneously.
Chen Mo sat on a high platform not far away, holding a drink in his hand. He watched the mecha slowly turning around and casually snapped his the Snap.
A dark red substance rose from the ground and directly obscured the mech's optical mirrors.
The mecha stopped moving on the spot.
[Unknown obstruction detected.]
[Target could not be confirmed.]
Chen Mo took a sip of his drink.
"What are you looking at? You've only just learned to walk and you're already trying to hit your parents?"
Tony wiped his forehead.
"This mech needs its recognition system readjusted."
No adjustments are needed.
Chen Mo leaped down from the platform and landed steadily on the ground.
"Make it remember, don't fire at anything black or red. That's your boss; you'll have to pay for it if you damage it."
Tony opened his mouth, but ultimately nodded.
After all, Chen Mo provided 90% of the materials used to build this mecha.
In the distance, the Avengers were still gathered around the mechs, discussing their mission. Asgard soldiers were carrying new energy equipment, dwarven craftsmen were re-examining the rune nodes, and Earth engineers were beginning to build the second assembly platform.
Fury stood on high ground, looking down at the bustling base, and for the first time, a relaxed and cheerful expression appeared on his face.
This base is no longer just a simple laboratory.
It has a complete energy system, cross-border communication equipment, interstellar exploration instruments, and a joint armed force that is taking shape.
The Earth's fundamental structure has been stabilized.
As Chen Mo watched the bustling scene below, the smile on his face slowly faded.
This area no longer requires his attention.
Tony will be in charge of technology, Fury will be in charge of organization, the Ancient One will be in charge of magical defenses, and Asgard has also forcibly taken over with a group of people.
Even if another group of invaders comes from outside, they won't be as helpless as before.
As for myself, staying on Earth to watch them repair the machine would be a waste of time.
Chen Mo stroked his chin.
There is still one Celestials embryo that has not been found on Earth.
That thing might lead him to a new direction in evolution.
Even the Ancient One couldn't pinpoint its exact location, so continuing the search in the short term would only be a waste of energy.
In that case, why not go and explore other universes?
" Chen Mo, what are you thinking about?"
Tony walked over to him, holding a tablet covered in engine oil.
I want to travel.
"Now?"
"Or should you wait until you've built the second mech before taking it with you?"
Tony glanced at the massive mech in the distance.
"Well, it's not entirely impossible."
Chen Mo raised his hand and patted him on the shoulder.
"The Earth is in your hands now, don't ruin it."
Tony's expression gradually changed.
Are you leaving?
I'm going out to find something new to eat.
When will you be back?
"Actually, I've always been here; my incarnation will remain here."
Tony wanted to press for more information, but Chen Mo had already turned around and walked towards the open space outside the base.
Thor, Steve, Banner, and the others noticed the commotion and stopped what they were doing.
" Chen Mo, are you planning to go to other worlds alone?"
Steve frowned.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to my death."
Chen Mo turned around and smiled.
"If I encounter something I can't beat, I'll run away first. If I can beat it, I'll eat it while I'm at it."
Loki stood behind Thor and muttered something under his breath.
"They're finally gone."
Chen Mo's gaze immediately swept over there.
Loki froze, then immediately raised his hands.
"I didn't say anything."
Chen Mo ignored him.
He stretched out his finger and gently tapped it in the air.
The black and red substance spread out instantly, quickly outlining a pitch-black spatial rift. There was no light or any recognizable scene on the other side of the rift, only surging chaotic energy.
Those were the Justice League universe coordinates that Chen Mo obtained from the lunar base.
This is also his next evolutionary path.
"Oh, right."
Chen Mo suddenly stopped and turned to look at Tony.
"Remember to point the cannon outwards during the next mech test."
Tony's face twitched.
Who do you think I am?
"A bastard scientist who uses his teammates as targets for testing."
"This is slander."
Chen Mo chuckled and stepped directly into the dimensional rift.
The black and red light quickly converged.
His figure disappeared from everyone's sight.
On the other side.
Chen Mo stepped out of the passage again, his feet landing on a deathly gray ground.
He looked up and squinted, a rare occurrence for him.
The universe before our eyes is being violently sliced open.
On the left is a blindingly bright, pure white high-level energy band.
To the right was a dark, rotting abyss.
Two terrifying forces collided, squeezed, and devoured each other, turning a large area in the middle into a gray buffer zone devoid of Starlight, life, and order.
At this moment, Chen Mo was standing in this deathly gray expanse.
