While Fury was still clutching his stomach and stubbornly insisting on his point

The Hydra gunman on the platform pulled the trigger again, and tongues of fire filled the dimly lit hangar.

Natasha pulled Fury to hide behind the transport truck, while Hawkeye did a somersault and rolled away.

Chen Mo stood still, without turning his head.

"Your movement is quite graceful."

Dozens of bullets hovered in mid-air, densely packed, their Negasonic Teenage Warhead still spinning and emitting a faint buzzing sound.

Fury and his two companions scrambled behind cover and waited for two seconds, but didn't hear a single bullet fall.

Hawkeye peeked half his face out from beside the wheel.

"Thank you for the compliment."

Natasha had already torn open her sleeve and pressed it against Fury's wound on the abdomen. Blood quickly soaked through the strips of cloth, but her hand did not tremble at all.

" Fury, stay alert."

Fury leaned against the car door, his face pale.

" Agent Romanoff, I am perfectly sober."

"A sane person wouldn't get their stomach ripped open in headquarters."

Fury closed his eyes, somewhat speechless.

That's something that can't be refuted.

On the high platform, the leading Hydra officer ran away as soon as he saw Chen Mo.

The gunman in front didn't know what he was facing, but he had seen the combat videos circulating in Harlem District and knew that his opponent was a monster.

The man quickened his pace, cold sweat instantly beading on his forehead. He dared not turn around, but could hear the squeaking sounds behind him.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it! Why is this jinx here?!"

The scene shifts back to the hangar.

A series of muffled thuds.

Before the Hydra on the platform could even scream, its body was twisted into a ball by an invisible force. Guns, armor, and bones shattered together, and blood flowed down the metal railings.

Less than a second.

The entire gunman team was wiped out.

Chen Mo raised his hand, and the bullets in mid-air fell to the ground with a clatter.

Then, with another gesture towards the passage, he pulled the man who had run away back.

Why are you running?

The man hung suspended in mid-air, his lips trembling.

"Don't kill me! I... I can tell you information about Hydra."

"Is Hydra a standardized organization?"

Chen Mo sighed.

"Why do you always seem to switch to the intelligence department when you're losing?"

Black and red tentacles emerged and devoured the man.

Chen Mo stood there, flipping through the new memories.

Pierce.

Winter Soldier.

Project Insight.

The construction progress of the three Helicarrier, as well as the experimental projects around the world that Hydra has hidden.

Chen Mo raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, quite a few surprises! I'll visit you sometime."

The tentacles slowly retracted.

The hangar was a mess, with the lingering smell of blood in the air.

Hawkeye leaned against the transport vehicle, gripping the composite bow without arrows, his gaze never leaving Chen Mo.

"Chief."

"Explain."

Hawkeye pointed at Chen Mo.

"Could you send us a user manual before hiring next time?"

Fury frowned.

"Manual?"

Hawkeye glanced at the corpses on the ground.

"For example, how far away should you stand when you encounter this kind of teammate to avoid being casually used as background noise and eliminated."

Natasha glanced at him.

" Clinton, you're still in the mood for jokes in this situation?"

" Natasha, I'm not joking."

Hawkeye is very serious.

"I really, really want to apply for workers' compensation for psychological distress."

Chen Mo turned around and happened to hear this.

"Don't worry, I'm always very lenient with friendly forces."

Hawkeye remained silent for a moment.

"That's wonderful! By the way, what's your name?"

Chen Mo clapped his hands.

Just call me Chen Mo.

Natasha tied the bandage tightly and placed her palm above Fury's wound.

" Director Fury, what do we do next?"

Fury took a breath and looked around.

This fortress he had built over many years harbored a venomous snake far larger than he had imagined. Authority, weapons, agents, intelligence networks, and even the three Helicarrier about to take off might already be in the enemy's hands.

The man who suddenly barged into the chessboard is equally dangerous.

He saved himself, and he also has the ability to eliminate himself and Hydra in the next second.

Fury doesn't like owing favors.

I dislike entrusting my life to an unknown creature even more.

But today, it seems he has no choice.

Chen Mo walked to the transport vehicle, his shoes stepping over the shattered bullet casings.

"Alright, Director Fury."

He reached out his hand.

"I rescued the person, and you've seen the performance. Where's my payment?"

Fury looked at him.

" Chen Mo, I need your help to clean up the Hydra in headquarters."

Chen Mo's hand froze in mid-air.

"Chief, that's an interesting point. Coulson invited me here, but he didn't mention all this. Now you're expecting me to clean up your mess?"

Fury did not shy away from the question.

"If Hydra were to obtain S.H.I.E.L.D..'s arsenal and files, it would have extremely serious consequences for the entire world."

"That's your consequence, what does it have to do with me?"

Chen Mo withdrew his hand, his tone calm.

"Saving you is one price. Cleaning up this snake pit is another."

Fury narrowed his one eye slightly.

"So, what do you want?"

"Of course it's something valuable; I'm not here to do charity."

Fury held up a few fingers.

"You can gain partial access to S.H.I.E.L.D..'s advanced files, weapons inventory, and special items."

Chen Mo shook his head.

"This is still a blind box. I don't like gacha pulls, especially not getting a bunch of junk from the pity system."

An explosion suddenly came from afar.

The outer wall of the hangar shook, and orange-red flames shone in through the broken window.

Immediately afterwards, a familiar electronic sound swept across the sky.

"The left-side firing point is cleared, and the group of guys with Rocket on the right is taken care of too."

Iron Man emerged from the thick smoke, his red and gold armor hovering in mid-air outside the hangar.

Tony's voice came through the speaker.

"By the way, Fury, your company's team-building activities are terrible. I suggest changing it to a beach barbecue next year; at least no one will be bombarding me with missiles."

Fury glanced up, then looked back at Chen Mo.

"There's a document that's not in S.H.I.E.L.D..'s regular archives, and I think you might be interested."

Chen Mo became interested.

"Continue."

"In the 1940s, the predecessor of S.H.I.E.L.D.. recovered the remains of an unknown life form in the South Pacific."

Fury said slowly.

"Tests showed that its cellular activity did not completely disappear even after decades. Its bone density Superman, and its tissue structure did not belong to any known terrestrial organism."

Chen Mo stroked his chin.

"Oh? What does it look like?"

"So, you're interested now?"

Fury looked at Chen Mo, breathed a sigh of relief, and continued.

"The remains were moved to an underground facility that only I can access. The file also contains a fragmented star map and several recurring ancient symbols."

A smile gradually appeared in Chen Mo's eyes.

Alien remains, cells that are still alive even after the main body has been dead for ten years.

A star map, I'm not sure if it's just an extra.

It's alright.

"Make a deal."

Dark red streaks of blood spread out from his feet, extending outwards along the hangar door.

Chen Mo looked up into the depths of the headquarters.

"But let's make this clear first, I'm only responsible for finding the snakes. Whether this building will remain habitable depends on how well they're hidden."
