Chen Mo did not leave immediately.

The dark red tentacles continued drilling downwards along the bottom of the nest, through the fractured rock layers and ice walls frozen for many years, transmitting back information from deeper within.

There are many things hidden inside the ice.

Chen Mo raised his hand and hooked his five fingers upwards.

Several muffled thuds came from beneath their feet, and a large section of ice cracked open. Several Deviants of various shapes were dragged out of the ice by tentacles and slammed heavily to the ground.

"They even froze it for me to keep it fresh. How thoughtful of them."

They have been frozen in the ice for who knows how many years, their bodies covered with thick ice, and their chests still showing faint rises and falls.

The moment the first one touched the air, its eyelids snapped open.

Click.

The ice shell covering its body began to crack, its two thick forelimbs dug cracks in the ground, and it let out a low growl.

"As expected of a biological weapon, its vitality is truly tenacious."

Chen Mo stood in front of it, stroking his chin as he examined it.

Black and red blood vessels had already seeped into the monster's body through the cracks in the ice. As soon as the Deviants raised its head, its flesh and blood rapidly disintegrated from the inside, and was swept away by the tentacles along with its hard bones.

The others also woke up one after another.

But they didn't even have time to break free of the ice.

The tentacles pierced the body shell and devoured it completely. Moments later, only a few pieces of transparent ice shell remained on the ground, now without support.

Chen Mo closed his eyes.

No trace of the Deviants could be found inside the entire snow-capped mountain.

More than seventy live ones, plus dozens frozen ones, plus the remains preserved by S.H.I.E.L.D..

This trip was worthwhile.

Chen Mo retracted his tentacles, and his eyes glowed with a dark red light.

A thick beam of energy shot into the sky from the ground.

boom!

Ice, rocks, and mountains were instantly pierced; the laser tore through the snow-capped mountains and disappeared into the dark night sky. The terrifying heat evaporated the ice and snow along the way, and large swaths of white mist rolled outwards.

The mountain, having lost its support, began to sink.

The cracks stretched from the mountaintop all the way to the foot of the mountain, and snow-covered boulders poured down. The underground nests collapsed layer by layer, and all the passages were buried inside the mountain.

In the sky, Chen Mo looked down at his masterpiece.

"Hmm, this should prevent any brain-dead explorers from making a sequel."

A ripple appeared in the space, and he vanished from the spot.

Inside the S.H.I.E.L.D.. underground facility, a folding stretcher was pushed against the alloy wall.

Two medics cut open Fury's clothing, removed the Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and re-treated the wound. Natasha stood by, her right hand never leaving the gun at her waist.

More than two thousand spies have just emerged from headquarters.

Who knows how many of our own people are left in this medical team?

Tony continued his efforts while crouching beside the empty metal platform, his armor fingertips shooting out several blue scanning beams.

JARVIS, any results?

JARVIS paused for a moment.

"I'm sorry, sir, the amount of remains is well below the instrument's detection limit."

Tony tapped the metal countertop.

"So, he even licked the plate clean?"

This analogy is not accurate.

"I think it's a very vivid description."

Just as Tony was about to remove a probe, a figure suddenly appeared in the center of the room.

The two medical personnel were so startled that their hands trembled.

Fury's freshly stitched abdominal wound almost required a second incision.

Natasha had already drawn her pistol and pointed it at the figure, but she put it away only after realizing that the person was Chen Mo.

"Next time you suddenly show up, you can give me a heads-up."

That's so boring.

Chen Mo glanced at Fury on the stretcher.

"Still alive?"

Fury looked at him, his voice laced with suppressed anger.

"I was living a good life."

The medical staff continued stitching up the wound. Fury didn't ask what had happened, but his one eye remained fixed on the ice shards on Chen Mo's clothes.

This person had been gone for less than ten minutes.

Those so-called Deviants are probably doomed.

Tony stood up, and his mask popped open.

"Sir, how was your buffet experience? Would you like me to write a review for the restaurant?"

"You can call me Chen Mo. Besides, the experience was alright; it was quite appetizing as an appetizer."

Tony's eyes darted around as he looked Chen Mo up and down.

"So, what about those creatures?"

"I ate it all."

How many?

"More than seventy."

Tony clicked his tongue in regret.

In less than ten minutes, all seventy-odd alien creatures were gone.

He had originally planned to find the nest and obtain some live samples for research. Now it seems that even leaving behind a blood-stained stone means Chen Mo didn't finish the meal.

" JARVIS, cancel the mission to search for anomalous creatures in Alaska."

The mission has been cancelled.

"Create another reminder."

"Please speak, sir."

"Next time we discover alien life, don't let Chen Mo know first."

Chen Mo ignored Tony and walked straight up to Fury.

"The remains are only part of our deal, what about the star map?"

Fury didn't delay and looked at Natasha.

" Agent Romanoff, open encrypted cabinet number three."

Natasha walked to the wall, and after two identity verifications, took out a palm-sized black storage device from the cabinet.

"The original carrier was damaged during transfer; this is all the data after repair."

Chen Mo took the memory, and a few thin blood vessels extended from his fingertips as he directly connected it to the internal circuitry.

Tony raised an eyebrow.

"Your thing even supports a data interface?"

Chen Mo flipped through the documents while casually replying.

"Yes, I just learned it."

From whom?

" Hydra."

Tony paused for a moment.

He felt it was best not to ask too many questions about the "studying" that Chen Mo mentioned.

A fragmented star map unfolded in Chen Mo's mind.

Most of the coordinates are no longer valid, but a few records overlap with the memories left by the Deviants. Golden energy appeared there, spanning thousands of years.

Those faces have never left Earth.

Black and red blood vessels surged from Chen Mo's palm, weaving into a human shape in mid-air. The blurry outline gradually became clear, finally coalescing into several three-dimensional faces.

There are both men and women.

Different skin colors, different ages.

The most conspicuous one was an obese Black man.

Natasha took two steps closer and carefully noted the features of each face.

You're looking for them?

"Right."

"Name, nationality, and area of activity?"

"I know nothing about it."

Natasha looked at Chen Mo.

"Only the face?"

Chen Mo nodded.

"Right."

"Finding a few people who may have lived for thousands of years based on this alone is no small task."

That's why I came back to find you.

Fury pressed the gauze on his abdomen, his one eye scanning the faces.

"First, let's explain their relationship with the Deviants."

"We'll talk about it after we find the person."

" S.H.I.E.L.D.. has just suffered a major blow; I won't hand over my remaining intelligence network to someone who refuses to explain their purpose."

Chen Mo looked down at him.

" Fury, after you were lying on the stretcher, did you forget who rescued you?"

"Saving lives and obeying orders are two different things."

Fury did not avoid his gaze.

"If these people threaten the Earth, I need to know. If they are the guardians of the Earth, I need to know even more what you're prepared to do to them."

Tony walked over to the projector, and the armor began scanning each face.

"It's rare for me to agree with a one-eyed man."

He raised his hand to zoom in on the face of one of the women.

"You just devoured over seventy monsters, and now you're immediately searching for another group of mysterious people. This sounds more like an after-dinner snack than making friends."

Chen Mo smiled.

In every respect, you guessed quite accurately.

Tony's smile faded slightly.

"Then why should I help you?"

"Because you want to know who they are, and you also want to know where their technology comes from."

Chen Mo pointed to the records of golden energy.

"Besides, even if you don't help, I can find them on my own. The only difference is whether I'll rummage through the databases of S.H.I.E.L.D.. and Stark Industries before I find them."

Tony stared at him for two seconds.

"Is this a threat?"

"This is an efficiency suggestion."

The way you offered your suggestion made me want to slap you.

"You can give it a try."

A faint light shone from Tony's palm.

Natasha stepped aside to block Fury's stretcher.

The medical staff in the room stopped what they were doing and even slowed their breathing.

Fury broke the deadlock first.

" Hill will access old files worldwide, but I will decide whether to provide you with the search results."

Tony lowered his hand.

" JARVIS, enter these faces into the database and perform global image comparisons. Expand the scope from news and surveillance to historical archives and private collections."

"Understood, sir."

The blue data interface unfolds rapidly.

Faces were captured one by one, and countless photos and texts began to flash across the screen.

Chen Mo looked at the faces in the image and pointed at the black man.

"Find them, and I'll show you what the Eternals are."
