Alioth, the dark purple cloud that had been wandering Knowhere, was also drawn by the two enormous energy fluctuations and was hurrying toward them as fast as he could.

The Azazel under Cassandra's control was about to pursue Thor and the others when she noticed the time monster approaching. Forcibly suppressing the murderous intent and fury surging out of her, she sent the psychic hurricanes hurtling toward Alioth.

Damn Thor! Damn Alioth!

Held up by Alioth, Cassandra lost her best chance to pursue Thor and the others. She created several more psychic storms and unleashed her fury on Alioth, then turned and vanished in a cloud of red smoke.

Alioth showed no restraint when presented with this buffet. He instantly opened his enormous maw and swallowed the psychic storms one by one. After devouring them all, the vast cloud began to roam around the place where the group had just fought.

He was trying to find another buffet like it.

After swallowing several more spaceship wrecks in succession and finding that no more buffets were coming his way, he swayed his enormous body and slowly drifted into the distance.

Thor had now absorbed four fragments of the law of space, and the maximum distance he could travel in a single move was about one kilometer.

Thor had no idea how long he had been fleeing with Emma Frost and Elizabeth. He only knew that he had stopped after squeezing out the last of his divine power and completely exhausting his psychic power, which had only just reached Quasi-Omega-level.

He was utterly drained, his arms hanging over Emma Frost and Elizabeth. Elizabeth reached out to support him, saving him from falling face-first onto the ground.

"I knew I could count on you, Elizabeth. You're so much better than that tsundere Emma Frost, who's obsessed with saving face and looking elegant..."

"Thor! You're asking for death!"

When Emma Frost heard Thor's complaint, the anger Cassandra had stirred up in her, which had yet to fully subside, flared up again. She had just rolled up her sleeves, intending to show him what happened when he ran his mouth, when she saw that he had already passed out, his body half draped over Elizabeth.

"Emma Frost, wait until he wakes up. He'd only just recovered a little before he overexerted himself to save us."

There was still little emotion in Elizabeth's voice. She simply stated the facts with perfect calm.

"Then I'd like to see when he wakes up. How dare he talk badly about me right to my face?!"

Emma Frost snorted and let the matter rest for now. After all, the big fool really had been trying to save her and Elizabeth. But one thing was one thing, and she would still settle the score for him speaking ill of her to her face!

"Look after him. I'll go find food."

Without waiting for Elizabeth to reply, Emma Frost picked a direction and stormed off. Who knew which unlucky soul would suffer this time?

Psylocke, Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock, carefully laid Thor's body on the ground. The blond giant before her was far too mysterious; she and Emma Frost felt as though they had been stripped bare in front of him.

Not only did he know what they had been through, he also knew their lowest moments, their hatred, and their obsessions. He had offered each of them terms they simply could not refuse.

For the first time, her indifferent heart was truly stirred. Her soul had spent more than a decade in this body that did not belong to her, and she had long since grown used to it.

Now a man claiming to be Thor, the god of thunder of Asgard, had suddenly told her that he could recreate her original body. Had she failed to doubt him immediately because he had learned her and Emma Frost's mutant abilities with a single glance?

Or was it because this was what she had desired most in her heart, what she had never dared hope for?

Elizabeth smiled, deceiving herself. She had already grown completely accustomed to the darkness, so why had she agreed so eagerly when a ray of light suddenly appeared?

She had long since ceased to be a three-year-old child, yet she had never expected to be fooled so easily.

A drowning person often longs for a piece of driftwood. And you, Thor, can you really help me achieve what I once never dared even imagine, what I desire most in my heart?

Elizabeth gazed quietly at Thor as he lay on the ground, lost in thought.

She did not know how much time had passed. Her eyelids were growing heavy, but she forced herself to stay alert. Emma Frost had not returned, and Thor was still unconscious. If she went down too, they would be finished.

Her psychic power had never been as strong as Emma Frost's or Cassandra's. After that battle, it was nearly exhausted. The only reason she could still resist falling unconscious was that this body had once belonged to a ninja and had a little more endurance.

"Elizabeth, you really are considerate. Unlike Emma Frost, who's always ready to throw punches. Her temper could give Wolverine Logan's a run for its money."

Thor opened his eyes to see Elizabeth swaying on the verge of collapse. He quickly sat up and supported her by the shoulders, using the tiny bit of divine power he had recovered to activate the law of life, easing her mental exhaustion and healing her at the same time.

"Thor Odinson! I worked myself to the bone going out to find food for you, and the moment I get back, I hear you talking badly about me?!!"

Emma Frost gritted her teeth as she stared at Thor treating Elizabeth. The anger she had vented flared right back up.

With a wave, she told the people following her to put the supplies on the ground. Her entire body instantly entered Diamond Form, and she marched furiously toward Thor, looking as though she wanted to eat him alive.

Thor did not panic in the slightest. He pulled Elizabeth in front of him as a shield, but just as he was about to mock the White Queen again with a grin, a flexible purple whip bound him.

"Huh?"

Thor looked at Elizabeth in front of him. "Elizabeth! I just helped ease your mental exhaustion, and you stabbed me in the back! Is that any way to treat your savior?!"

Elizabeth said nothing. She merely kept him bound so he could not escape. Then Thor saw a diamond fist, white and gleaming, grow larger and larger before his eyes.

Bang!

"Emma Frost! I just saved you and Elizabeth! Is this how you treat your savior?"

Thor hurriedly begged for mercy. He had not even had time to recover his strength before he was strung up and beaten.

"My savior? Didn't I save your life too? Thor Odinson! Is that how you talk about your savior?"

"Besides, one thing is one thing. The terms of our deal didn't give you permission to talk badly about me whenever you wanted, did they?!!"

Emma Frost, the White Queen, kicked Thor to the ground, swung herself astride him, and raised both hands to rain blows down on him from left and right.

Smack! Smack! Smack!

After that lesson in love, Thor shakily tore a rag from his clothes and wiped it with his hand, revealing a patch of white. Then he raised it:

"Your Majesty, I surrender! The Geneva Conventions require prisoners to be treated humanely!"
