"Stop! We surrender!"
Just as the battle axe was about to fall, Arishem suddenly stretched out his hand and let out a roar that echoed through the starry sky, his voice carrying for the first time an undisguised panic.
Thor's axe blade suddenly stopped in mid-air, and the aftershocks of the seven-colored lightning swept over, leaving a thin bloodstain on Arishem's cheek.
He raised an eyebrow at the seven Celestial before him, chuckled, and his tone was full of mockery:
Surrender? Did I hear that right?
Weren't you all pretty impressive when you called for backup, seven against one?
"Now you surrender because you can't win? You've completely disgraced your Celestials Race!"
Arishem gritted his teeth, suppressing the humiliation in his heart, and said in a deep voice:
"We are willing to take the Celestial embryo from within Earth and leave this star system immediately, never to set foot here again. We acknowledge that your power far surpasses ours; we are no match for you."
He knew very well that the core purpose of the Celestials was to maintain the order and balance of the universe, not to fight to the death with a terrifying being that they could not defeat and that grew stronger with each battle.
If the fight continues, let alone taking away the Celestial Embryo, it's uncertain whether the seven of them will even leave alive today.
To sacrifice seven legitimate Celestial for a Celestial who has not yet been born is absolutely putting the cart before the horse and does not conform to the code of conduct that the Celestials followed for billions of years.
Thor chuckled, his battle axe twirling lightly in the void, the power of the laws causing ripples to spread across the surrounding space.
"Want to leave? Fine. But are you just going to leave empty-handed? There's no such thing as a free lunch. After fighting for so long, isn't it reasonable to not offer some compensation?"
Arishem frowned, his six eyes filled with anger, yet he dared not lash out. "What do you want?"
"It's very simple." Thor weighed his battle axe in his hand, his tone casual yet carrying an undeniable air of dominance.
"Find me something that contains the fundamental laws of the universe, or a top-tier artifact similar to the Infinity Stones, and I'll let this matter drop."
Arishem slowly shook his head:
"You have completely mastered the fundamental laws of the seven of us. There are few law-based artifacts left in the universe that can catch your eye. We also do not possess any other artifacts similar to the Infinity Stones."
He paused, then added:
"However, we can tell you the exact coordinates of the All-Black the Necrosword's hiding place in this universe, as well as the specific location of the cosmic artifact, the Black Vortex. Both of these items are more than enough to match your current strength."
Thor stroked his chin, pondered for a moment, then shook his head:
"Not enough. You think one address and one message can avenge the seven of you who surrounded and killed me? You're seriously underestimating me Thor Odinson."
He grinned as he looked at the seven Celestial, whose expressions were growing increasingly grim.
"Alright, I'll accept these two pieces of information. In addition, the seven of you will all owe me a favor. If I ever need anything from you in the future, you must help me out once. Then this debt will be settled."
"No!"
No sooner had he finished speaking than Hargen the Measurer, refused in a deep voice, and the other Celestial also showed their displeasure.
The Celestials is so arrogant; for them to owe a favor to a mortal deity is worse than killing them!
But Arishem suddenly raised his hand, stopping the others, and stared intently at Thor, saying each word clearly:
"Alright. We agree. The seven Orthodox Celestial collectively owe you, Thor Odinson, a favor."
He knew better than anyone that he had no bargaining power at all.
If I don't agree, I'll die here today. It's better to owe someone a favor than to lose my life and the inheritance of the Celestials.
The next instant, the seven Celestial moved simultaneously.
The seven of them joined forces to activate the laws of cosmic life evolution, their divine senses instantly penetrating the Earth's core and precisely locking onto the gestating Celestial embryo.
The vast power of the laws carefully enveloped the embryo, as if cradling a fragile treasure.
Without causing the slightest damage to the Earth, or even a tremor in the Earth's crust, the Celestial embryo was moved intact from the Earth's core.
Arishem gave Thor a deep look, said nothing more, and then, with the other six Celestial and Celestial embryos, vanished into the sea of stars in a flash, as if they had never existed.
The lightning and strange phenomena of laws in the starry sea slowly dissipated, and sunlight shone down on Earth again, as everyone erupted in deafening cheers.
Thor dispelled his true form of the Dharma Heaven and Earth, returning to his original 1.9-meter height. With a casual wave of his hand, he opened a teleportation portal, took a step, and appeared on the ground of Mesopotamia.
The Avengers and the Eternals were all gathered here, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Thor appear.
Tony stepped forward first, raised an eyebrow, and whistled:
"Hey, our savior of the universe is back? I thought you were going to tear those seven Thing apart before you came back."
Thor waved his hand, his gaze sweeping over the crowd before finally settling on Carol, who was tightly bound and unable to move in the distance with special restraints. He asked:
"What... what's going on?"
That face looked so familiar. Wasn't that Captain Marvel, Carol, who always talked about universal peace but always sided with outsiders?
Auntie Marvel became incredibly arrogant once she gained some ability.
"Who else could it be but the Universal Peace Ambassador, the Earthling traitor, Ms. Carol?"
Tony rolled his eyes and explained the situation clearly in a few words.
"We've long since wiped out those Skrulls."
This woman received the Skrulls ' distress signal and rushed back for revenge, only to be slammed into the ground by the aftershocks of the Celestial ' escape as soon as she entered the atmosphere.
She got up, ready to fight me, but Wanda drained her strength, Natasha tied her up like a dumpling in three seconds.
Upon hearing this, Thor almost burst out laughing. He glanced at Carol, who looked utterly devastated and was still cursing under her breath, shook his head, and ignored her completely.
Just then, a gentle yet profoundly melancholic voice suddenly resounded in his mind; it was the Ancient One:
" Thor, come to Kamar-Taj."
Thor raised an eyebrow and gestured with his chin toward Wanda beside him:
" Wanda, do me a favor, open a portal to Kamar-Taj."
Wanda nodded, and crimson Chaos Magic flowed from her fingertips, instantly drawing a sparking portal in front of her.
Thor stepped inside, and in a flash, he was transported from a smoke-filled battlefield to a tea room in Kamar-Taj filled with the aroma of tea.
Three people were sitting around the round table in the tea room.
The Ancient One, dressed in a yellow robe and with a bald head, was holding a teacup and smiling at him.
Seated beside him was Odin, clad in Destroyer Armor, his hair and beard all white, yet still exuding majesty; and beside Odin stood Frigga, her demeanor gentle and graceful.
As soon as Thor regained his footing, Frigga stood up immediately, her gaze falling on him with a mixture of urgency and tenderness. Her first words were, "Child, Loki, where has he gone?"
Upon hearing this, Thor sighed and said, "He's going to various universes to save Asgard from destruction. He said goodbye to me and left."
Upon hearing this, Frigga's eyes flashed with a hint of melancholy, but she quickly smiled gently and nodded, "I knew it, this child, in the end, still has Asgard in her heart."
The group took their seats, and the round table was laden with Asgard delicacies and wines. They ate and chatted casually.
Thor looked at Odin and could clearly sense that the life force of this Lord of the Nine Realms was like a candle flickering in the wind, its oil exhausted and its flame extinguished.
He put down his wine glass and said:
"Old Deng, I have now mastered more than a dozen fundamental laws of the universe. I can help you reshape a more powerful divine body, extend your lifespan, and even bring you back to your peak."
Odin paused for a moment upon hearing this, then slowly shook his head, a look of relieved weariness appearing on his aged face.
"No need. I've lived for tens of thousands of years, witnessed the rise and fall of the Nine Realms, fought countless battles, and guarded Asgard my entire life. I'm truly exhausted."
He looked at Thor, his eyes pleading.
"I only hope that, within your power, you can help my Thor, get him out of his current predicament, and help me defend Asgard. That's enough."
Thor looked at the weariness in Odin's eyes, remained silent for a moment, and finally nodded. "Alright, I agree."
The group continued eating and chatting, but just then, the Ancient One, who was eating with her rice bowl in hand, suddenly went limp and fell straight to the ground with a "thud," her rice bowl crashing to the side and rice scattering all over the floor.
Odin and Frigga, standing nearby, were both stunned for a moment. Just as they were about to get up to check on her, Thor merely glanced at the Ancient One lying on the ground, his lips twitched, and he couldn't help but roll his eyes, muttering:
" The Ancient One, you old bald man, why did you have to do this now of all times? Did you choke to death while eating? Do you think any normal person would believe that reason?"
As he spoke, he turned to Odin, who was holding a wine glass and had just taken a sip, and raised an eyebrow, teasingly saying, "Old Odin, you're not going to put on a show of choking to death on a drink for me next, are you?"
Odin's hand holding the wine glass suddenly stopped, and he glared at Thor with annoyance, almost choking on his wine.
